Best Church Ever

I have been going to different churches all over the US, trying to «feel» like I belong, and trying to get something I can take from the service to help me get through my trying week. This is by far the most outstanding church I have ever been! Sat night mass had great music, peaceful ambiance, and a witty priest full or good humor. I really was sad to see the service end (and I can tell you that is saying a lot)! Sunday service at 1130, great homily, pertained to every person in the church, another priest with a great sense of humor and great speaker. The teen choir was great and professional guitarists had my mouth hanging open. If you have been avoiding going to mass for whatever reason, give this place a try. You won’t be bored, tired or lukewarm about your faith ever again! This is now my home church, and I can’t wait to check out the other masses to enjoy whatever they have to offer. THANKYOU! The Sunday Night 6:30 Mass at OLG has great music! They do a combination of Catholic and contemporary christian music. There is a full band– drums, keyboard, bass, piano, and guitar. It tends to get crowded during «Confirmation Class Season» so try to come a few minutes early mid Sept — mid May.
It is the latest Mass in the South Bay without going all the way to LMU in Westchester. There is generally a HUGE Teen and Young Adult presence at that Mass since they get to sleep in!!!
There is a Franciscian Rectory on site– so we always have plenty of priest around if you need one. Really the music at all the masses is outstanding– each grouop with thier own personality under the Parish Music Director Bobbi-​Lynn Lambert.
