Now that schools have cut music locally, the piano studio is thriving, and we are offering group and private instruction for blossoming virtuosos, young beginners and kids ages 4 – 94!

The new location is right at the beach, one block from coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, banks and in the heart of Hermosa. Clients can have a day at the beach, get their errands done and enjoy dining in Hermosa while kids have their piano lessons. And of course, you can’t miss the famous A-​Frame Piano Sign.

History

Established in 1999.

My business started back in 1999 on Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach. After a decade and the economy took a turn, I moved to a Redondo Beach location. Things do come full circle, as I just arrived again back at Pier Avenue where the business originated, only to find myself in an even better location than the first one.

Miss Emily’s is a fun place where kids and grownups can learn, practice and take up piano lessons in a warm, nurturing, beachy, convenient and luxurious environment to learn beginning piano or mark it off a bucket list for returning students. I also work with children who have special needs and/​or autism.
