Hermosa Smiles Dentistry

I was having extreme pain in my tooth. I called the office and the receptionist was very compassionate and helpful. She could sense my pain and was able to fit me in immediately, even with a full schedule. Once I was there I was called in the back within 5 minutes and completely taken care of. After meeting with Dr. Azarian, who was very sympathetic to my pain, she ordered an emergency extraction. They took care of everything and were able to get me an appointment the next day for the extraction. She also gave me local anesthesia and pain medication to ease my pain and get me through till the next day. I would highly recommend this dentist to my take care of my closest family members and friends. They have an amazing knack for compassion and professionalism.

Went here because they accepted my insurance and I had a cracked crown. They use the CEREC system which is great. Crown in one visit, but around $ 1200. The problem here seems to be greed and a poorly run office. I had a follow up appointment with my dentist for an exam and cleaning. He cancelled on me and asked me to reschedule with a different dentist. Since it was only a follow up, I agreed. Then, apparently the new dentist quit so they rescheduled me with Dr. Oates once again. OK fine. Then he cancelled again and tried to give me another new dentist. Poor service if they cannot keep track of their own schedule. So I agree, and in the meantime my dentist insurance was cancelled. They didn’t tell me until the day of my appointment that my insurance was not valid at their office. So months go by with no dental treatment. They then offer to reschedule and give me their first time offer for a cleaning and exam. Then they decided they would not do that because I was not really a new patient. Avoid this place. There are better run dental offices around even though they have a nice office and good equipment.

In the realm of continuing sagas, I am going to update my updated review just to be fair, balanced, and informative.
So I did hear back yesterday (three hours+ after my initial calls) from Sara the office manager at Hermosa Smiles. #1 She is very nice, and thoroughly cares about the patients, #2 She knew that my CEREC replacement would be covered by their warranty and guarantee to stand by their dental work. #3 She assured me they would see me SAME DAY.
So a few hours later, I’m in the dentists chair, and back at the hands of Dr. Bhalla. She’s also a very nice person, that seems to really care about people’s lives. And I like that about this place. The people, from front desk (who apologized to me for not knowing the severity of my situation and not having the coverage details), to the Xray techs, to the doctors… everyone is nice. Granted they have to deal with people in pain, people with janky nasty mouths, and people who’d rather be at the beach than getting the skank drilled out of their mouths. But I digress…
I was in the chair by 3pm, x-ray’d and caught up on info by 4pm, numb and being drilled in my mouth (yeah, let’s not go there) by 4:30pm, and headed on my merry not so happy way by 5:30pm. Love takes time, and so does drilling. Now I’ve got a temporary in there, and in 2 weeks I’ll have a new (hopefully indestructible, because I’ve broken 2 CEREC onlays) crown.
I’ve upgraded my rating to 3 stars, and deservedly 3 stars, with potential for more. Teeth sometimes hurt us, and our wallets. Maybe I was a little harsh prior, but it is upsetting when expensive dentistry breaks (when it shouldn’t)…but things go wrong under the stress of our lives and as much as it is on the doctors to provide the best care, I guess it is on us to not take the pain and inconvenience out on the people that provide the care.
Be a responsible and attentive (and cost-​effective) doctor, we will be reasonable and accommodating patients… every one wins!!! YAY!
Now if I could just eat solid food… that would be nice.

Twice in 2 years the CEREC onlay they sold me on has broken. I know it’s pretty cool to make fillings on-​site, but when they don’t last, what good is it?
Much like another Unilocalers review with 1-​star, I too was upsold on the deep cleaning and tons of other stuff I «had» to do when I went there. I wasn’t happy about it, but they were mostly nice and attentive, so I gave a 5-​star review.
Then the onlay broke, and while they covered it, I had decided to get a cleaning at my girlfriend’s dentist, and low and behold was told I never needed that nor the extremely painful «deep cleaning» in the first place; and that dentists a lot of times sell people on it to bill insurance for more, or get bigger profits.
Granted, I won’t go that far to make accusations… because I thought Dr. Bhalla was very nice, very informative, and she took the time to actually call me back…
Now I am unable to chew on my right side. I have a gaping hole in my upper molar. I don’t have answers if the 2^nd broken cerec piece is covered under warranty. I cannot eat solid food, I am in pain, and I had to explain my situation to two different people on the phone this morning and neither had an answer so I have to wait for the doctor to call me… meanwhile they scheduled me for an appointment tomorrow… which is kinda sneaky because once they have you in the chair… its over… you’re stuck.
So, I want to know… is this covered? How much is it gonna cost this time? I know they’re nice people here… I am not telling people not to go to this dentist… but seriously talk through the x-​rays and procedures and the long term before letting them drill you or numb your gums for that deep cleaning of your teeth and wallet.
Does it really have to hurt this much in my mouth and in my soul? Maybe… but it shouldn’t.

My lower rating is not is not due to the actual dentistry staff, but with the office staff.
The first time I went, they canceled my appointment twice before I finally got seen. Now they have recommended that I see a specialist as well as have follow-​up work done, and I’ve called four separate times and each time someone promises to call me right back to schedule, but no one has.
The office manager also had mentioned that they would credit me a $ 50 balance towards work for canceling the appointments on me the first two times, but nobody seems to have any record of this
It is a great dentist office if you actually can get through the cyclical process of trying to book an appointment.

Felt compelled to write a review for Dr. Priyanka Bhalla given that I almost rescheduled in hopes of another dentist after reading a couple of outlier reviews for her below (from people with Unilocal histories of 1-​star all-​caps reviews — you know the type).
Dr. Bhalla provided one of my best experiences with a Dentist. I’m a smart dude, and she explained everything going on in my mouth in a really easy to understand, and yet not dumbed down way. Really put me at ease to have additional knowledge into my own personal health. She was highly personable, efficient, and overall a pleasure. Seemed like the type of woman I’d want to grab a drink with too. Early 30’s, top-​5 national dental school smart, and approachable.
For the Hermosa Smiles practice as a whole, I’ve never seen an office with newer cutting edge technology. I was ushered, ON TIME, straight to X-​rays, where everything was digital, and I could see my X-​rays immediately on the screen in front of me (really cool) followed by a panorama x-​ray, and photos taken of all my teeth.
Later saw Cheryl Greer, a hygienist, for deep cleaning — she was equally as great, and the whole process was easy (if not for my lack of twice-​a-​day flossing ;-)

Good experience here, friendly staff and love Dr. Bhalla. Have been going here for about a year and have not needed any major dental work, just regular check-​up/​cleaning and some fillings, but have been very satisfied. I would follow Dr. Bhalla if she left!

First I got a cleaning here and it was fine. They did try to up sell me on a deep cleaning which I do not need. Then they told me I needed 2 crowns. I have dental insurance and they said my copay was $ 850 per crown. I got the work done. I found out a month later from my insurance company that they severely over charged me and that my copay should always be $ 250 for a crown.
6 months later I got another cleaning and they told me I needed yet another crown. I got 2 second opinions and both said the tooth only needed a filling and they were scamming me. I have switched dentists and would never recommend this place. I will always wonder if those 2 crowns really needed to be done, but I do know they way over charged. Stay away!

Beware of this place and get a second opinion.
If you’re going for a cleaning I suggest to find another place.
Honestly I don’t know why this place even has four stars.

I had been going to the same dentist in Manhattan Beach since I was a little kid but I switched to Hermosa Smiles because I wanted something much closer to home. I was trepidatious at first because I had literally no experience with other dentists but the whole staff at Hermosa made me feel at ease right away.
I’ve now been going to Hermosa Smiles and seeing Dr. Oates for two years now and I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received. I appreciate the communication and friendliness of the staff, the clean facilities full of high tech instruments, and the way that Dr. Oates puts me at ease and not only explains my procedures to me but also how he works collaboratively with his hygienists. It’s like he’s always teaching! I also have a veneer on my front teeth that requires not just skill but artistry to do well and Dr. Oates did an excellent job making it nearly impossible to tell that my front teeth are only half real.
Overall, I’m very glad that I made the switch and although I still think the world of my previous dentist and his competence, I never really realized what I was missing out on until I started going to Hermosa Smiles with their state of the art facility and Dr. Oates’s caring approach. And, for what it’s worth, they’ve handled my insurance with no problems.
One more thing, parking is really easy here. That can be such a pain in the South Bay and it might seem small but I love that I can get in an out without having to worry about where I’ll park.

I just went in for my biannual check up and was again reminded of how phenomenal Hermosa Smiles is compared to every other dental office!
Do not take the 1-​star outliers seriously. There is a huge difference between the absolute quality of the office and staff at Hermosa Smiles versus a few people that have to deal with Machiavellian insurance companies then blame the world for their struggles.
Instead, look at all the 5-​star reviews that point out how refreshing it is to have a dentist that is young, professional, and uses the latest cutting-​edge technology (pun intended!). Dr. Oates understands that communication is an essential part of a dental plan and healthy client relationships, so they talk through all your options with you and truly work with you to take full advantage of your insurance benefits.
I switched to Hermosa Smiles since the day it opened and will go there for the rest of my life without question. Easily the best dental office in all of Socal.

This place has poor management. I’ve visited this dental office and left without getting any procedures done 3 times because the receptionist either gave me the wrong date, had set me up for a dentist that I CLEARLY DID NOT ASK FOR or my dentist decided to leave the office… I work full time and I always take my lunch break to get my dental work done. It’s so annoying to have to waste my lunch break this way.
Also, they charged me $ 90 for a filling and my EOB is showing that I owe $ 19. I’ll talk to the billing manager during my next filling.
My bf also had the same issue. We called our insurance prior to getting his crown done. It was $ 300 for a ceramic crown. Dr. Oates only offered him a $ 840 ceramic crown or a $ 300 metal crown. My bf isn’t the type of person that likes to argue about price so he got it done but we called insurance again and our EOB both states that it should’ve been $ 300.
I read another person’s review talking about the exact same issue with crown prices. This is just terribly wrong. I’ve brought this to the billing manager’s attention and we’re still figuring out how they are going to take care of the price difference but I haven’t heard back.
I’ve referred this office to 3 other people and they’ve become regular patients. 2 of them are having bad experienced on prices too… It’s just really unfortunate.

Everyone at Hermosa Smiles has been great. I have been on Medi-​Cal for the past five years which means I’ve had zero dental care and my kids have had minimal care by «drill & fill» clinics where they don’t really care about your comfort or quality of their treatment. Recently, I got a job with great dental insurance and am finally able to make payments for what our insurance doesn’t cover. We’ve really had a lot of catching up to do. The doctors and staff at Hermosa Smiles are caring, professional, give very high quality treatment, and are much more affordable than several lower level offices I’ve checked out.
They have specialists that come to their office throughout the month – so no matter what you need, you only have to go to one place. I recently had to see one of the specialists and had a question the day after about the area he worked on. He gives his patients his cell number and I called him, he remembered me right away, reassured me that everything was normal, and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel dumb for asking.
Dr. Todd is great with my kids and me. The dental assistants are also great. They don’t gag you with the x-​rays, they don’t jab the suction into the back of your throat while the dentist is working, and they have little extra ways to make your visit more comfortable. A Keurig in the waiting room, TV in the treatment rooms, even phone chargers available if you need it.
The front office staff are friendly, also happy to answer questions, and will work with you financially as much as they can. They really want to make it possible to afford the treatment you need and they’ll help you figure out how to get it all done affordably. No one really WANTS to go to the dentist, but Hermosa Smiles will make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. From start to finish, each experience is great. Really a great place to go.

DON’T SEE PRIYANKA BHALLA — WORST DENTIST !!
I’ve spent a lot of time and money to make my teeth straight w/​a «movie star smile.» I care A LOT about who has their hands in my mouth. Requested an appt with Dr. Oates & confirmed multiple times prior to my appt.
Checked in/​Filled out pat. info. I was brought to a meeting room w/​Bhalla. I thought it was a «welcome» thing. She asked questions about what I did for work etc. I had an expression of «why are you asking me, I’m not here to see you?» but she lacks emotional IQ. She ushered me to get x-​rays & I figured that was fine since the x-​ray techs are in charge of that.
After x-​rays — the exam room. Bhalla comes in & tells me the xray results/​recommends a root canal. WHAT? I have no pain, and the x-​ray shows I’m not in need of one but «might need one soon.» I told her no and that all I wanted was a cleaning and a crown. She persisted and I had to argue with her about the type of crown (obviously she wanted me to get the most expensive one) and whether or not to get a root canal. She finally backed down and started working on me. I REGRET NOT SPEAKING AT THIS POINT!
Bhalla was abrasive w/​cleaning & doing heavy/​painful drilling on the tooth that needed a crown. It seemed excessive. She sent the assistant to get something & as soon as she left Bhalla went to TOWN w/​the drilling on that tooth. At one point, she rolled her chair away to get something and when she rolled back to continue working, her chair slammed into my head. She did not ACKNOWLEDGE OR APOLOGIZE. In hindsight, it was likely intentional. She had the tech finish with the cleaning & flossing.
I was in the office for 3.5 hrs and the shots were NOT wearing off. The tech was trying to talk to me & I could not speak/​move my mouth. The tech who flossed me said «wow that should have worn off by now.»
When leaving I carried a tissue for drool & was in REAL PAIN. I was terrified my face was permanently numb. I have high pain tolerance & couldn’t stop the tears. Sara could see how upset I was & asked what happened?! I wrote on a piece of paper «WHY did that dentist work on me? My appt was with Dr. Oates?!» She reviewed the system & that was exactly what was scheduled. She recognized my distress and told me not to worry about payment. Sara assured me that I would be with Dr. Oates next time. I was numb for 12 HRS & sore for days.
2^nd Appt: Dr. Oates took me to the mtg room & talked about my prior visit. He apologized & said «You aren’t the only 1 who has complained & I don’t think Bhalla will be with us much longer.» (I have mixed feelings about that … on 1 hand thankful to hear that I was taken seriously. On the other — if there have been complaints WHY is she still on payroll?) BTW this appt was in late June 2014.
Dr. Oates looked at the work that Bhalla did & said «this setting for the crown is not right» when my eyes got large he rephrased to «people have different styles for setting a crown and Bhalla and I do that differently.» He took over and did MORE drilling to make the tooth ready for a crown. After the work was done I checked out @ the front desk and the girl was scheduling my next 6 month appt and she goes «Okay so the next available appt looks like… 9−11» and I said «okay that’s fine.» and she goes «OHH PHEW OKAY GOOD, you know how SOME people can be when you say ⁹⁄₁₁.» I didn’t even bother with this… but yeah I’m part New Yorker so that was an inconsiderate statement.
When I left I was still extremely sore & it didn’t go away for a few weeks. Sara advised me that Dr. Oates could check to make sure everything was okay but I decided to wait it out.
My Bill: $ 1255. Decided on split payments since I was not expecting that. I requested an itemized list of the work and costs after I had paid it off. When I rec’d the list, the ADA codes and costs did NOT reflect the pricing of my insurance.
SARA was helpful and did a bill review. She found +/​-​7 mistakes and gave A REFUND OF $ 465!!! Had I not known about ADA codes/​asked for a detailed bill… ROBBERY. Sara refunded me & sent a detailed refund receipt & was very timely. They’re lucky to have Sara.
Fast forward to ⁹⁄₁₀ — had a FEELING I should confirm my appt since I didn’t receive a reminder. guess what? I WASN’T IN THE SYSTEM! They tried to reschedule me for another date/​time & I just said, «NOPE! I’m going to find another dentist.»
I still have pain in my tooth (not frequently enough to think it’s serious) BUT I also have pain when I drink/​eat anything that is slightly colder than lukewarm. It has changed my life for the worse.
Sara and Dr. Oates are great (even though w/​poor word choice on occasion). I don’t blame him for my pain. I know he did the best with what BHALLA left behind. Give Sara a raise, fire that phony «doctor» Bhalla like you said you were going to. Make sure whoever is running the insurance against the bill is a professional and doesn’t make mistakes that «accidentally» overcharge your clients.

This dental practice and its employees are fantastic. I spend a lot of money at the dentist every year because my teeth are pretty on the outside, but disaster zone on the inside. When I moved to LA two years ago, I made sure to do my research and find a place that wouldn’t scam me — because I’ve been through all of that before, and knew that I had to be at a place that I trusted. I spend a lot of time at the dentist as well, and I’m glad I found Hermosa Smiles. The people there genuinely care about making your teeth problems go away, and preventing bigger problems from becoming an issue. Dr. Oates explains everything in detail — why it is this way, and what to do to make it better, or steps that need to be taken so you don’t have to spend more time and money down the line.
I have a few crowns from them, and they all match the rest of my teeth perfectly and you can’t tell they’re crowns. Root canal was efficient and painless. The rest of the work has been great (I mean as great as drilling teeth can be), and I just listen to my earbuds on blast and tune everything out.
Parking is easy and plentiful in the lot out front, you can watch TV while you wait in the chair, and they’ll give you a blanket when the AC is too high.
I haven’t read the negative reviews, and I know everyone has different experiences, but I consider myself a very seasoned dentist-​goer, and am happy to say I found a great one in the South Bay.

PLEASE READ — Horrible Dentist STAY AWAY
Went to dentist for cleaning and possible fillings.
Walked out with a deep de-​scaling cleaning done, 3 cavities filled and an INFECTION in my mouth where they injected me with novocaine. YES they caused an infection to occur.
The Cleaning — absolutely painful after the novocaine wares off. My teeth are still ultra-​sensitive since the cleaning. The hygienist really beat me up, my teeth and my gums. They do one side at a time, I didn’t want to come back for the second one but I did it.
Thursday June 11^th — Fillings were the easy part in and out no problem until… the Novocain wore off. It hurt but not really badly so no big deal right?
Saturday June13th — noticed the pain in my mouth getting worse. Thought nothing of it, dental work is sometime painful. It is what it is.
Sunday June 14 — my right side of my jaw was hurting, like a dull throbbing. Took a pain killer and hoped it went away. Tried sleeping but my mouth was aching by night time. Took another pain killer to stop the pain and get some sleep. I had no idea what I was in store for.
Monday June 15^th — I went back because Over the weekend the pain in my teeth and jaw got worse. Dr. Bhalla gave me more pain killers and sent me on my way. Thinking I would be fine I walked out. I wasn’t fine. I was in pain but Dr. Knows best so I let it ride.
Thursday June 18^th– by This time my jaw hurt so bad I tried to bite into an apple and my jaw got stuck and hurt so bad I couldn’t bite it and I couldn’t take the apple out of my mouth. I had to tear it out. SO MUCH PAIN. The wife made me promise to go back to dentist again. Who wants to go back? Not me that’s for sure.
Friday June 19^th — went back in to see Dr. Bhalla and I wasn’t happy. She told me it was TMJ and that she needs to send me to a specialist. So now I have TMJ??? Or is it an infection you gave me and it’s getting worse. She told me to be on ibuprofen 800 and do hot and cold compresses every 15 minutes and it should get better. There is nothing else she can do. Are you serious??? Nothing you can do?
Sat — Sun June 20−21^st — extreme pain in my jaw, can’t eat without pain, can’t chew, my entire right side of all my teeth and my jaw are killing me. Miserable weekend in bed. Pain killers take the edge off but the pain never really goes away. Started taking double dose of pain killers ever 4 hours, I can handle this until I see doc on Monday I was thinking.
Monday June 22^nd — unbearable pain, finally broke down and texted the doctor (she gives her personal cell phone number out to patients just in case they run into any trouble) no answer to my text messages ever, not one reply. Went back into dentist office and saw different dentist who said this pain must be caused by muscle bruising, it’s definitely not TMJ. Although muscle bruising shouldn’t have lasted this Long and now he finds it weird. Did some X-​rays, nothing turned up. He confirmed the pain was definitely cause by the injection points from Novocain shots (at the injection points). The substitute dentist gave me muscle relaxers. I actually had to beg for antibiotics seeing this is getting worse, what else can it be but an infection seeing it’s getting worse (I’m not doctor I just have common sense).
I’ve been written off by this dentist and I can’t believe it. They did damage, caused me unbelievable pain (which I am in excruciating pain right now) and told me they can’t help me now?
I now have a doctors appointment with my primary care to see what he can do to help me as my dentist doesn’t seem to care or want to help me.
I am baffled at what has happened here as they knowingly caused my problems and left me in pain and don’t care to try and fix it.
Very disappointed in the service and dental work.
Update June 22^nd — — — — — — — — — — — -
Just left primary care and they gave me a shot of rocephin (very strong anti-​biotic). No question I have a bad infection in my mouth. Confirmed, this dentist is horrible. I’m also on Levaquin for 10 days now. Doc said if I don’t feel better in next two days I might have to be admitted to hospital due to where the infection is and how severe it is. Scary
Update June 25^th — — — — — — — — — — — -
I have Lockjaw from this doctor and am being treating with very strong antibiotics and need to have an MRI done to see how far the infection has progressed.
Went to new dentist.
1. Hermosa Smiles said I needed a root canal extraction, new dentist says root canal is still good, no need to extract.
2. They left a hole in one of my teeth they claimed to fill, a perfectly drilled hole left open and exposed. On purpose? So I need a root canal later? Trying to create dental work for themselves SHADY! New dentist filled the perfectly drilled hole for free.
Please stay away from this dentist or you might pay with your health or life.

I am an adult 5 year old when it comes to the dentist. I have severe anxiety, I cry, I squirm and I dread going. I should probably be heavily medicated prior to each visit, but I am also stubborn so I refused. Get the picture?
Dr Saggar and Kita had the most incredible patience with me and took their time, did not rush me or make me feel bad for making an embarrassing spectacle of myself. She explained every procedure she did, why it was beneficial, and made sure to leave ample time for questions. In this day/​age, it’s hard to find kind souls like these, so I am grateful.
As far as dental experiences go, this is as good as it gets.
I found that this office was quite upfront about what the costs would be, so there were no surprises. On my very first visit, they took X-​rays and Dr Saggar explained the plan for deep cleaning, scaling, laser therapy for my gums, and a mold for a night guard. The insurance coverage and the out-​of-​pocket costs were printed out for me on that first visit, and I chose which procedures I wanted and when. I had my deep cleaning on two separate visits b/​c they only do one side at a time with anesthesia. Anesthesia always sucks but once it was over, the rest of the procedures went smoothly. Each side was $ 280 and the night guard was $ 250, based on my insurance. I did not find this unreasonable.
There were no recommendations for unnecessary or exorbitant procedures. Dr Saggar was very frank about what I needed and why. I did not feel she was selling anything but good dental hygiene.
As for the office, they call and remind you of your appointment 1 – 2 days beforehand. The girls at the front desk are nice. It’s a very modern looking place. There are tv’s in every room. Seems tech-​savvy. They use digital medical records, so she visually walked me through my dental findings. Small parking lot right out front but it’s part of the Vons shopping plaza so there is more parking available. Easy to make appointments.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical before choosing this dentist since my last 2 dentist office and Dr were such a bad experience.
I just had my appointment and every step of the process, I was telling myself that it was too good to be true and that something will be bad.
Guess what? Nothing has gone wrong!
Same day appointment (due to cancellation), next day filling appointment, dentist, hygienist, accounting, front desk, assistants, every single person that I had to deal with was just so very nice and very professional.
The best thing about this office is that they are technology savvy meaning that everything is high tech, you see your X-​rays as they take it, you have your own TV on your dentist chair so the dentist can show you what they are talking about, you can change the channel and watch some shows while waiting. Seriously, this is pretty impressive.
Can’t wait to go back in 6 months for my 2^nd cleaning :)

I agree with almost all the negative posts below here. Here is my long story but it seems to give with other’s experiences. A few months back I needed my wisdom teeth pulled so I wanted to go to a Dentistry that had great services. I’m a big believer in Unilocal and thus saw the reviews here and figured I’d give them a try. For the wisdom teeth, I was referred to another specialist at a different dentistry who charged higher than the norm (but he was worth it since the procedure went very well), I figured they were getting a referral fee. After the procedure, and my first time getting actual service here, I was introduced to a new dentist who gave me a cleaning and promptly upsold me on some cleaning fluids I didn’t need that would «promote healing». The dentist was new to the establishment and I was a bit uncomfortable at that fact that he seemed squeamish with his tools and also hesitant to touch my mouth area (you know — what dentists are supposed do). I was promptly booked for a follow-​up 6 months later.
Fast foward 6 months, I get calls twice the week before to confirm my appointment, which I do and they tell me the weekend before that I’ll have a new dentist since my last one no longer works there (figures). I leave work early in rush hour traffic to get to my appointment at 4pm for what is supposed to be a quick routine cleaning. I’m told after I check in that I’ll owe some money since my surgery already maxed me out. I am reluctant because of the fact that they tell me last minute, but fine, honest mistake, I’m already here I’ll pay the $ 60. The next part is just unexplainable. I’m literally sitting around for 45 minutes after they take x-​rays and I’m telling the staff I have an another appointment to catch. Nobody seems to be able to answer why there is a huge hold up. A different gentlemen who wasn’t the dentist I was just introduced to comes in and starts the cleaning. After he’s done with his portion, he walks away and a reception is quick to come in to have me sign all sorts of forms and tries to sneak in a $ 30 charge for some other cleaning fluid I don’t need. So I detest to that. Finally, at 5:25pm the dentist comes to finish my cleaning. In the process she tells me I have fillings (I never had fillings so I have no idea wtf she is seeing), and I need them replaced and they start talking prices, while my mouth is wide open. WTF. I get it, you are a business but this really isn’t a good time. I mean I can’t even tell you it isn’t a good time. Finally at 5:50pm I pay and they try to schedule me, but I was in no mood and late to the bank — which ended up closing before I could reach there. Thanks a lot, you should be paying me for my time.
No respect for time, and with the past experiences it seems this place churns and burns dentists, and tries to upsell as much as possible. Upselling is fine, the timing is horrid. Things like that are just not excusable — sorry, and that is why I am so passionate about writing this review. You need to take care of the patient’s needs and look out for their best interests first and foremost, and leave the aggressive selling of your services for later. Really. A lot of patients are already self-​conscious and/​or reluctant to go to the dentist because anything medical is so personal, and trying to squeeze them for money isn’t something to be prioritized above your service to them.
On a lighter note — the office is clean, they have/​use a lot of technology (although it seems they must be using it incorrectly so maybe «have» should be alone in that statement), and staff are friendly. They tried calling and left a message to apologize for the major f*k up which was a nice gesture, but tainted with them trying to bring up selling me on filling services halfway through it. Way to throw salt on the wound. Honestly, just apologize fully and/​or return my money and hope I give you another chance. Actually — you can keep it, I’m not sure that would change anything.
TLDR: If you’re all about getting upsold and having folks not respecting your time and not owning up to the mistake at the first moment, this is the place to be.

This is one hi-​tech office. Every step of the process from digital X-​rays that have 90% less radiation to the 3D printer that made my crown in 5 minutes in house was impressive. The entire staff didn’t mind at all answering all my questions (I am curious) and explaining the processes and the materials. I’ve been to a lot of dentists and This place so far is my favorite.
