I cannot begin to say how impressed and grateful I am with Dr. Levy. I have scoliosis and for my entire life I’ve been dealing with nauseating pain from my back. A week ago I considered scheduling a back surgery to screw a rod to my spine because I flat out couldn’t take the pain anymore. I was willing to do anything. I decided to take another chance at a chiropractor before the drastic measures, and found Dr. Levy searching for someone with 5 star reviews. My expectations were completely surpassed. I walked in, and oh my gosh, what an amazing, fun, personable guy! He had me laughing within 20 seconds of being there! Absolutely the most genuinely good person I have met in a while. And the ambiance set in his beach inspired office really makes me at home. We talked about my symptoms and within a few minutes I had a sense of hope that I haven’t for years. He is so reassuring and just wants to help and get you back into living your life to the fullest. After he adjusted my back, I had the most comfort that I have had in YEARS. I called my sister in the parking lot (who suffers the same problems) almost in tears of how excited and grateful I am to finally go to someone that can help, and she will be coming in from Arizona to see him. He saw me again yesterday, and I am already improving. One more trip this week and I should be good. I can’t remember living with such little pain. To think surgery was my plan, I look back now and laugh because I feel amazing. Thank you Dr. Levy! I will be referring everyone I know!

Today I visited Dr. Derek for the first time. He was able to immediately relieve my back pain and I was extremely impressed with his approach. I have been to many Chiropractors over the past 10 years with varying degrees of success. But never before has a doctor been able to pinpoint and explain my chronic back pain with such ease and straightforwardness. He stressed the importance of helping my problem so that I don’t need to keep coming back, which is refreshing to hear from a Chiropractor. Dr. Derek is very genuine and took time, out of a very busy friday morning, to explain my issue and how we can fix it. I will recommend Dr. Derek Levy to everyone I know! Thank you!

I love the care I get from Dr Levy! I am athletic, very active — and I have chronic lower back injuries that flare up from time to time. Sometimes, due to my schedule, I suffer in pain for many days before going in for his care. I’m always kicking myself for not going in sooner, because the moment I receive his treatment I have immediate pain relief! He is extremely knowledgeable and particularly skilled with athletes. I always feel like I am in the best hands when I’m there!
Appointments are a breeze — very accommodating schedule. I can usually call and get in almost immediately without too much advance notice. There is never a wait, and I get in and out relatively quickly, making appointments convenient and easy. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr Levy, and will be a lifelong patient!

Dr. Levy is THE BEST! Immediately after having a baby I had crazy lower back/​sciatica pain. I could barely walk, let alone take care of my newborn and toddler. I called Dr. Levy on a Friday afternoon and he told me to come in immediately. I’ve now seen him for a little over a week — my back pain is almost completely gone and I’m able to function as a mom!
He is extremely attentive, skilled at what he does, and truly cares about his patients. Plus he saw me on a weekend for an emergency adjustment. I can’t recommend him highly enough!!!

Best Chiropractor ever! I’ve been struggling with lower back pain, sciatic problems, for years. 17 years! I finally started seeking out help from chiropractors about 7 years ago. I’ve seen at least 4 – 5 before moving to California.
Needless to say, after the big move I desperately needed to see a professional. I searched Unilocal & decided to gamble on Dr Levy based on his reviews. Dr. Levy was extremely nice & personable. He is a local and obviously loves his community.
After he adjusted me, I had doubts, because the adjustment was completely different than any other I had received in the past. But after only 3 – 4 visits I am healed! No kidding! Idk if it’s the way he adjusts or what, but Dr Levy really knows what he is doing! He is also very nice & generous! My out of town insurance was taking several days to verify and he still treated me without worry over my insurance.
I have not had any lower back pain since Dr Levy. Which is something I thought I’d never experience again– no pain! If you know me, you know this is amazing because I’ve been living with pain for so many years! Thank you Dr Levy!

Back in High School I played soccer and hurt my back to the point where it hurt to walk. After months of physical therapy I saw little improvement and decided to go the chiropractor route. The day I saw Derek he put everything back in place and I was able to play again that same afternoon for the first time in months. Every time I need a tune-​up I go to Dr. Levy and I couldn’t be happier with the results. On top of being a great chiropractor, Derek’s a great, genuine guy that truly cares about his patients. I’ve recommended him to family, friends and strangers and every person is always so grateful that they went to see him. Thanks, Derek!

Dr. Levy is the best! First of all I am a hair dresser and I am always having some type of body ache. Whether it be my back, neck, shoulder or wrists, there is always something. I went to Dr. Levy about a month ago and I have been feeling great since then.
So he will warm you up with heat before adjusting you and trust, you will probably fall asleep cause it’s really relaxing. Then he will adjust you. He always lets you know what he is doing and how it will change things.
I felt very comfortable with him. So no worries, you are in great hands!

AMAZING!!! I called him at 8 am with a beyond urgent emergency– I couldn’t walk! He told me to come in immediately. No questions asked! He was beyond thorough with his diagnosis and what he would do to help me. He gave me immediate relief. I left there walking again and by day 2 (with his help) I had no pain whatsoever. He was accommodating with my schedule and tore down my fear of having my back being «cracked». He’s super friendly and laid back but you immediately know that he’s confident in what he’s doing. He is now my family’s chiropractor and will be recommending him to all of my friends and family.

It was a late Friday night and I was in REALLY bad shape… my leg was numb and toes were painful. I called around, no one would see me. Then I found Dr. Levy through a quick google… he called it an emergency if I was in that much pain– made it a priority and came in for me over the weekend. Saved me from terrible pain. Three other local chiros didn’t care to help over their weekend… he’s been working with me since and I’m almost 100% healed up– after a week ½. The chiro I saw the week prior only put tape on my back… but Dr. Levy discovered I had a pinched nerve. Save yourself discomfort, he’s a hell of a guy and a great chiro.

Absolutely amazing! I have never been to a chiropractor before, but when I had neck pain which was causing intense migraines I called him up and after two appointments my migraines were gone!
Also I recently started having severe lower back pains to the point that I could barely walk. I called Derek immediately and had an appointment the same day where he continues to amazing me with his skills!

I’ve been to several chiropractors in the past, all with the same outcome — slight relief and continuous sessions. After reading reviews online I called Dr Levy and made an appointment. Definitely not your average chiropractor here. He told me his goal was to get my problem fixed so I wouldn’t need to come back. He is the only one who has ever genuinely wanted to solve my pain problems and not just make appointment after appointment. Sessions are always quick, in & out and done. Will definitely recommend Dr Levy to anyone.

I was having serious neck pain. He told me he doesn’t believe in X-​rays so he took none, then told me to come in 2 – 3 times a week.
I did, yet every time I left my neck was in pain again just by turning it, by the time I got to his parking lot.
Finally I had to insist that he take an X-​ray!
So, after a long series of ineffective treatment, after my own insistence, he finally took the X-​ray and promptly told me — oh! You need a real doctor! I can’t help you.
Really? He couldn’t have cared less about me, my pain, my previous requests for an X-​ray before I finally insisted for it, and really just kept doing his set routine without any regard to my needs.
I do not recommend going to this guy. Just bcz he has surfboards in his office doesn’t make him anything more than a chiropractic hack.

About a week ago I woke up with a severely pinched nerve. I get them often on my left side of my neck/​upper back and thought it would go away, but it was to the point where in the mornings I couldn’t move my neck. I moved to South Bay from Orange County so I didn’t have a chiropractor. I looked on Unilocal and found Derek Levy. After one adjustment it was pretty much fixed! Not only did the adjustment help, but Derek Levy made me feel extremely comfortable and he was truly interested in correcting my issue. He is not the type of guy who tries to find reasons for you to keep coming in. He told me that if he fixes it, he doesn’t need to see me again which is a lot different than some other chiropractors I have seen in the past.

I had my first appointment today. I had a really great experience, Dr. Leve is amazing at what he does and his outlook on his practice and patients health is great. Very comfortable and honest.
It’s about 5 hours since my appointment and my body already feels much more relaxed.
So happy that I went in to see him!

Had been waking up with a sore lower back for a couple weeks. Looked around and found Dr. Levy.
Did some homework after looking over he has 5 stars and with great reviews. I made the decision and called his office to verify if they took my insurance and he advised me to call my provider and verify he was on the list of approved chiropractor. Once I confirmed he got me in within a day.
He asked lots if questions in regards to my discomfort and he worked his magic. During my visit I was surprised when he said «you don’t want to see me and I don’t want to see you, because if you are here to see me you are in pain»
After one visit he recommended some sleeping techniques to avoid developing the discomfort.
