This place is great! Super good energy and awesome workouts. All their classes are worth it and Heather is my favorite!

When my alarm went off this morning I was debating whether to get up and go to my 7am class or go back to sleep. I woke up and remembered it was too late to cancel and I ate pizza the night before so I had no excuse. I got and got ready to go.
As I entered the same studio I was greeted by the front desk girl and instructor both very nice. The studio is beautiful, bathrooms, showers, water & towel station. Clean equipment etc. I put my bag in the back and filled up my water bottle and was ready for class.
It was leg day at bionic and man I felt my legs crying halfway through the class but in a good way. At the end of class’s my legs felt like jello. I really enjoyed the workout and will be back for more.

A very clean neat gym located by the Hermosa Beach Pier. All the instructors that I have met are super nice, patient, and have positive energies. They offer a wide variety of classes, so you will not get bored.
Quite frankly, I do not like to exercise that much, and get bored easily with regular workouts. But I liked this gym a lot. Various instructors teach different classes, and their routines are different each time. It is definitely challenging, but I felt great after every class. My favorite classes are Pure Strength, Track Pilates, and Athletic Suspension.
I only wish that it were closer to my home…

If you’re looking for a great workout in an awesome environment, this is the place for you! The classes are amazing, the trainers are really knowledgable and the energy & vibe is the best! I love the circuit training classes and try Pound, a workout using drumsticks! How fun is that! When I leave I know I’ve had a great all over body workout, I highly recommend Bionic Body!

although i’ve tried mainly the bionic body and circuit classes, when i’ve talked to other people in the classes (i talk up everybody when i go to class alone, it’s my thing!) — they said they love every class they’ve taken!
i agree that the classes are very good, especially the circuit ones!
plus the gym is super clean and neat. you can’t bring your own water bottles — they have glass bottles for you to use during class. and apples. because an apple a day, keeps the doctor away :)

Okay, this review is long overdue, but I feel compelled to shout from the mountain tops. I’m talking to my baby boomers out there, yes, the menopausal ladies like me who have been losing the battle of the midsection bulge. I tell you I have tried everything under the sun to beat back the middle aged weight gain curse. Well look no further. I first began coming to Bionic Body in June of 2014 on a Groupon special. I was only able to take a couple of classes a week with the fantastic Dara. She made me sweat, and laugh, and cry, all at the same time. I left after 5 months because of a new job and a change of hours. During that time away I gained almost 20 pounds! WHAT! I got an email in September 2015 about a Body Transformation Contest and thought I would go back to Bionic Body and give it a try. Besides, all the other stuff I was trying was not yielding results for me. Seems the older I get the harder it is to get it off! I absolutely love everyone who works here! Shout out to my heroes: Kim Lyons (owner, motivator; always giving me great advice and tips), Dara Mazzie (my original gangster trainer, she pushes me, encourages me, and doesn’t let me get away with giving less than 100%), Madison Doubroff (have not trained with him yet, but he is the studio director and always greets me with a smile while taking care of the administrative stuff), Dan Bohenek (I have taken several of his classes and received proper butt kickins’! Plus, he is the King of correction, making sure I am doing the right thing, the right way), and last, but definitely not least, the insane Sal Tomasello (good Lord this kid is a beast — the most challenging workout EVER! Bring your energy to his classes). Here is the thing, you get out of it what you put into it, and I put in 4 to 5 classes a week, because that is what works for me. Now, after 2 months back at Bionic Body, I love it when I walk in and everyone comments on how thin I look. If you want to work hard and achieve your goals, then get off the couch and join me at Bionic Body! Fun, Challenging, and you will ache the next few days — in a good way! Oh, and by the way — I got 3^rd Place in the Body Transformation Contest for Muscle Gain — WHAT! Age ain’t nothin’ but a number!!! Thank you Bionic Body!!!

I did the Signature class using Class Pass and loved it! Was my first time at Bionic Body and I was so impressed with the studio — reusable, clean glass bottles with water dispensers and towels for all. To top it off, apples to munch on post-​workout! The class was challenging and I definitely worked up a major sweat. The instructor was very motivating and she paid attention to everyone in class to ensure proper form and safety. I will be back Bionic Body :)

First impression, sleek! Loved how the owners incorporated eco friendly and sustainable concepts such as refillable water stations to limit plastic bottle use, natural products and limiting paper use.
I took the 2 week intro program and let me tell you Martha got me into bridal shape for my wedding. LOVED taking the bionic barre and track pilates classes with Martha, she is so upbeat and fun!
All the staff is super professional, motivated and devoted to giving you the best possible workout. I liked how patient they were with a new comer like me; Shad, Dan and Gunter made me feel good about channeling my inner strength to work to the next level — I especially appreciated their attention to detail for directional oversight to correct my form.
Kayla’s abs classes are fun and Heather is one of the best formal yoga instructors I have experienced because she properly moves you through the poses (best level of athletic and meditative yoga and form you can get in the South Bay).
My 2 week trial also came with a massage. Holy moly! Jenn is magic, hands down best massage in my entire life! The deep tissue restorative massage to help me detox and clear sinus tension was absolutely incredible.
Bionic Body is a special place and you can instantly feel that the staff really love working there, they pour their dedication into their craft.

Life changing! I joined a year ago and can’t imagine living without Bionic Body! I have undergone a transformation, physically, mentally, nutritionally. Kim Lyons and Gunther genuinely care about their members. They both have gone the extra mile to make me feel welcome and Part of the Bionic Body family. Can’t say enough about the trainers! They are motivating, and more importantly not intimidating. They modify the workout for your level. I started at the bottom and I’m working my way up. THANK YOU!

Okay where do I start? So I found this place on groupon & somehow worked my way to their website and signed up for the 2wk trial. Went in and was greeting by Madison he set me up for my first class with Kayla «bionic circuit» LOVE LOVE LOVE lol although half way threw I’m pretty sure I died and came back to life only to die again. Lol those are the workouts I love to do. Deff will be coming back for more classes :)

If you ever get a chance to work out with Danielle Spangler she is the best trainer I’ve ever had in my whole entire life she’s got a great spirit, fun personality you just never want the time spent with her to end!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Danielle & the Bionic Mommy program! I am a first time mom and was SO ready to get my body back in shape! Danielle was so knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging that I couldn’t get enough. I finished her 4 week (2x a week) program with such amazing results that I’m going back for more! I’ve never received so many compliments from friends & even strangers! My husband is just as thrilled with the results as I am and encouraged me to continue with her for life! :) Thank you, Danielle! Danielle’s Bionic Mommy and Me program at Bionic Body rocks! The scale and tape measure don’t lie.
I’m 40 (almost 41) and was terrified I would not lose the baby fat. I started working out at Bionic Mommy ASAP when I got my OB GYN clearance (I had a C section) at 8 weeks post baby.
Over the course of four weeks, working out twice each week, my newborn daughter, Giovanna Francesca, gained an inch in height and gained 2 oz. **Me on the other hand, lost inches, pounds, and body fat!
My total results in 4 weeks:
Weight loss: 3.7 pounds
Body fat loss: ½ percent
Chest loss: 2.5 inches
Hip loss: 1.5

Personal trainer Heather G has done an incredible job with me since we started 6 weeks ago. She’s constantly pushing me in a kind and caring way — and the results have paid off! My arms (and everything else) look incredible in a short period of time! Can’t wait to see what the next 6 weeks looks like!

The best part about this place was the friendly staff. I dont live around there, but felt immediately at home. In a city where I’m sure gyms can be pretentious and full of themselves, Bionic Body is a group of down to earth people trying to help others get and stay fit. I had a great workout! This is the only place I want to be at 7 am. It’s always a good time, really great energy and the workouts are incredible! I’ve been going for a little over a month and bionic body has brought me the most impressive results. I feel like a strong woman everytime I leave. Plus it doesn’t hurt that the beach is right across the street ;] a little bit of sunshine and relaxation after working your butt off sounds good to me.

I did their circuit training class on a Class Pass and was truly impressed. The exercises are all quite diverse and the trainer, despite the large class size, is able to do a great job of keeping an eye on everyone and offering advice on technique.
Like any good circuit training class, my heart rate was through the roof, but my strength was also increased due to great resistence training. Lastly, the facilities are the cleanest I’ve seen in LA, with showers, towels and fresh apples offered to everyone. I will be back — this place is terrific!

Very upbeat, positive environment! Tons of class options, so no matter what your aim is, they have something for you. My trainer not only was a wealth of information about how the body & muscles work, but also ensured I had good form and took extra time to explain stretches after the class was over. Everyone who works at Bionic Body has a passion for betterment & patience to help as much as possible.
Also they provide eco-​friendly water bottles and have a water station to ensure everyone is properly hydrated. There is a shower there, so for those with busy schedules you can fit in an extra class without having to go home afterwards.

This is such a great place to work out. The instructors are friendly and the classes are not overcrowded, so we get a lot of personal attention. The have wide variety of classes from Barre to yoga to Tabata. I love the fact that they have different classes each day at a scheduled time, so if I am coming at 7AM everyday, I get to try different classes.
The studio is very clean and well maintained. There is no free parking, however, there is ample paid parking available within a stone throw away. Oh, and I love the fact that they have an app and I can easily schedule my classes and check updates. Love everything about this place!
