Established in 2001.

This business was originated on 1998, with a great deal of passion to help persons in need of a good service company. RVO Rooter and Plumbing obtained the California Contractors State LIcence on 2001. We started our business working on sewer and drain lines only. As we started to get more costumers the demand for plumbing work was growing. So we enrolled ourselfs in a boluntary plumbing work with some profetional plumbers in the area in order to gain knoledge in the plumbing field. As time went by we became one of the best plumbers in the area. We are very onest, friendly and dedicated profetional plumbers.

My Name is Roberto I’m originally from Bolivia. I legally migrated to The United States in the year of 1889. I’m very happy to be in the land of oportunities. I’m a naturalized citizen of this country, I got married and I have three children. I reside in the East Bay.

I called mid-​morning on a Saturday and got the message machine. Roberto returned my call in less than 30 min and promptly dispatched a truck to arrive within another half hour. True to their word, Phil drove up in his truck less than an hour total after I left the original message. It took a couple of snakes and lots of elbow grease shoving the snake down the lateral. It looked bad — really yuck, but Phil would not give up until he cleared the line. It probably took an hour to an hour and a half to finish the work, but he cleared it. Price was very reasonable! RVO Rooter & Plumber was fast, low cost, and got the job done!

My bathroom sink has been clogged for months. I tried a few «environmentally friendly» products to unclogged it but apparently a bunch of hair was trapped in the sanitary t-​bar and wouldn’t go beyond. On the recommendation of my neighbor, I called RVO and spoke with Roberto. This was in the early afternoon on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. He said he could send someone within the hour. Sure enough, a very friendly guy named Phil showed up. He took a look and said «let me get my snake»! Within mere seconds Phil had the sink uncloggedI He then tightened all the pipe joints checking to ensure there was no seepage of water, wiped down the sink and said «you’re good to go»! I am extremely happy to have my sink finally unclogged and by such a friendly, efficient plumber at that! I would highly recommend RVO Plumbing to all!

Of course my bathroom sink drain clogged up on the 4th of July weekend (Saturday). A double whammy, a weekend and a holiday? Who am I going to call now that’s not going to charge me two arms and two legs to come out and HELP me?
Well ladies and gentlemen I can tell you after calling several plumbers in the phone book some of them couldn’t come out that day and some of them wanted $ 350 just to snake a drain!
THEN I CALLED R.V.O. ROOTER & PLUMBING. Roberto answered the phone and was courteous, polite, helpful and most importantly he said he could get a plumber out in a couple of hours and it would only cost me $ 165!!! I jumped on the offer and a half an hour early than the scheduled appointment Phil and Eric showed up.
Phil had to deal with my old cast iron pipe which had rusted and clogged the drain, after some grueling, hard, hard work Phil was able to clear my drain in about 40 minutes. He had to replace my «P» trap too, so it was a lot of work and he and Eric did an OUTSTANDING job that my wife an I couldn’t be more happy about.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND R.V.O. ROOTER & PLUMBING. I know I will be using these professionals in the future.
They were friendly, kind, courteous, polite, professional and most importantly they knew what the heck they were doing.
They made a nightmare turn into a dream. God bless these guys. I love them.

I myself, and several other people I know, have used RVO for many years now. I am a real estate professional in the East Bay area. As an agent, we have to work with plumbers often, due to certain required ordinances. Through the years of working with Roberto, and the rest of RVO, I have never had any issues nor have any of the agents that I know who use RVO, as well.
The service has always been done properly, quickly, and at a great price. I always recommend RVO to anyone who asks me about plumbing services. They are the only company I use.

Excellent Service!!! They fixed my bathtub leak even fixed my toilet that was broken too! If you have an emergency plumbing issue these are definitely the guys to call! They also aren’t too expensive either.

Roberto is a bad business person. He just hung up on me because I asked him to honor his guarantee that our lines would be clear after spending $ 7k on a lateral replacement. When they replaced our sewer lateral, I had asked him to inspect our shower and bath drains. Instead of doing this for us, he promised that if we ever had problems, he would take care of it for no cost. The reason for this is that he was sure our problem was only with our lateral.
Unfortunately, he is not honoring this offer. I guess I should have known better, but his employees have been so friendly. Ernesto needs to go into business for himself, because the owner of RVO is just bad news. He does not line-​item his bids, and when he finds out that the scope of work was cheaper and easier to fix, he did not offer any discount, of course not.
Instead, he offered me a BS line about taking care of his customers. I shook his hand and figured that we were valued customers. I think that anyone considering RVO for any major service should try another company that is more professional in their demeanor and contracts. I recommended him to another neighbor who is an experienced contractor, and he felt that his bid was totally outrageous.
It was too late for us, and we must consider our next options because we have not actually fixed anything. Extremely frustrating. Any recommendations in our area are welcome.

When you find a competent, fair and dedicated service provider, you keep them — and you tell your friends. Our bathroom sinks weren’t draining well and it had gotten to the point of fixing it. After giving it a shot on my own, unwilling to pay out for a pro, I realized, «I need a pro.» I called RVO.
Mike was excellent — not only did he spend more time than he’d originally thought, he came back on a Saturday morning with a beast of a machine that he assured me «gets through anything.»
After a lot of mechanical pounding and what can best be described as «a ferret and a cobra going at it in the pipes», he broke through. He replaced the trap, fixed a leak and gave us a the bill — with a discount.
So — great price, great service — and coming out on a rainy Saturday morning with no «weekend surcharge» — these guys are keepers.

Used RVO once to unclog a drain. The experience was very good. They came quickly and fixed the problem.
Recently, I called for an estimate on work but Ruberto didn’t show up. I called him again, asked him if he got an estimate for me. He said that he was so busy that he would get right on it, but no estimate was furnished. It has been two days. I guess he was too busy for me.

Roberto was awesome! My wife and I recently purchased our first home and needed to replace the sewer line. I called a lot of places looking for the best price. Not only did Roberto give me the absolute best price, he was the only plumber who advised me about the county’s sewer line replacement grant program.
With other contract work I’ve needed in the past, I’ve been burned by the contractor with the lowest bid. Either the work was not done on time or the work was simply not completed. So, I was a bit nervous this time around. This was, after all, my first major home project and even though Roberto’s bid was the lowest we were still talking about a hefty sum. However, Roberto’s attitude and responsiveness put me at ease.
Roberto and his crew started and completed the work on time, even though they ran into problems on the first day due to the fact that the line was completely clogged. I am very impressed with RVO’s professionalism and «get it done right — affordably» attitude. I will definitely call on Roberto for our next project.
