Henry, Tennessee might not be a place where you would expect to find big things happening. It is, after all, a small village with less than 500 residents in a rural setting. You won’t see much more than cotton, tobacco, soybeans, and corn as you drive through here. If you look close, you will notice Henry Trading Post on the hill top at the corner of Highway U.S. 79 and Meadows Road just inside the city limits though. It is something worth noting on your trip through town and it is a rarity now days to find a place such as this, for we are truly a «trading post».

Here at HTP we buy, sell, and trade all sorts of delights including guns, ammo, clothing, gear, accessories, knives, hunting equipment, non-​lethal self-​protection items, and miscellaneous related goodies to satisfy just about everyone you know. Heck, we will even do our best to please the folks you have yet to meet!

We don’t leave out the angler in the gang either. We carry seasonal live bait, lures, line, poles, reels, and other necessities to help bring in enough for the neighborhood fish fry next Friday night. Just make sure you cook a bit extra. You can never be quite sure when we might show up!

Stop in and visit. It is always a pleasure to make a new acquaintance and we never get bored talking about hunting, fishing, farming, grilling, or, well, just about any topic you can imagine. We enjoy our guests and we look forward to seeing you soon!

History

Established in 2013.

Not as an afterthought, but as a poignant finish to our story, we would like to share that we are a local business, owned and operated by honorably discharged veterans of the United States military. As such, we have the utmost respect and undying gratitude for our former and current brothers and sisters in the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy, whether they be active, guard or reserve. Quite simply, we owe our Freedom and Liberty to the dedication and sacrifice each and every one of you has given with your life every day.
