Established in 1937.

Puritan has been serving customers since 1937. We have the good fortune to be named Richmond’s Best Dry Cleaner for over 20 consecutive years (see Puritan’s awards). We’ve achieved this by providing our customers with great quality and convenience. Whether it’s our Free Home Delivery/​Pick-​Up service, 24 hour drop off, DynaClean cleaning systems, or one of our 13 locations across town… getting high quality dry cleaning has never been easier or quicker. More convenience for you makes Puritan Cleaners the market leader year after year.

We’re also committed to doing our part for our neighborhood, and we are proud of our community programs. Through our signature program, Puritan Cleaners Coats For Kids, we’ve collected well over 300,000 coats for the Salvation Army since we started in 1988. We’ve also partnered with the Central Virginia Food Bank to raise over 400,000 meals through our 100K Meals program.
