History

Established in 1984.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and the Garden Shop, celebrated their 25^th anniversary year in 2009. A 100-​page commemorative book providing a wonderful overview of the Garden and its history, including many gorgeous photographs is available in the Garden Shop.

I am the PR & Marketing Coordinator for Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, where I specialize in social media.

My favorite part of my job is sharing the Garden with others — whether it is sharing photos of the Garden on Facebook or telling the story of how we plant & plan for A Million Blooms each spring. I love hearing about how others experience Lewis Ginter and love it when I find someone who loves this place as much as I do.

I also love the Garden Shop. It’s my favorite place to by unique gifts for friends. I also do most of my Christmas shopping at the Garden Shop — we’ve got a great kid’s section!
