The Fleet Feet Sports FITLOSOPHY™ is our commitment to the concept of a proper FIT in all aspects of our lives — from helping you find the proper FIT for your running shoes to assisting you in determining how running, walking, or an active lifestyle fits into your life. Simply stated, FITLOSOPHY™ is our FIT Philosophy and our approach to everything we do. Our process begins by ensuring that runners and walkers of all abilities and ages are fit with the proper footwear, sports bras and technical apparel to meet their individual needs. For us, FIT is everything.

Looking to train for a race? Whether you want to begin a walking program, train for your first 5k, or a marathon, we have a program that is perfect for you. We are proud to offer Premium Training Groups to the greater Richmond area.

History

Established in 2015.

Here at Fleet Feet Sports Richmond, we hope to be more than a store where you shop. We want to be a place in your community you visit often because you feel comfortable here. We want to be a resource for all your running, walking and general fitness needs; and we want to celebrate your accomplishments with you. We want to be a place that inspires you. Most importantly, we want to be your friends. We opened our Short Pump location in May of 2015 and are beyond thrilled to serve more of the greater Richmond area!

Meet the Business Owner

Ashley, Jason, and Jeff W.

Business Owner

This is a true «mom & pop» shop… well, actually a father, son, & daughter-​in-​law. Father Jeff, son Jason, and Jason’s wife Ashley are the owners and operators of Fleet Feet Richmond. All three have extensive experience in specialty running. They are excited to start a new chapter in their lives together as family.

Jeff opened his first Fleet Feet Store in Jackson, MS in early 2002. Since then, Jeff has operated stores in Nashville, Chicago, Louisville, and Los Angeles. He is entwined with all areas of the industry and will be able to use his numerous resources and knowledge to the Richmond community.

Jason & Ashley met over 13 years ago in high school. Fast forward many years of living & working for other Fleet Feet Sports around the country & here they are, feeling like they have the greatest job in the world! The couple feels incredibly fortunate to serve the greater Richmond area & share their passion for running & all things health and fitness related.
