Awesome doctor. Knows all the specialists in case he needs to refer you out. He usually can handle any issue except surgeries. You can get right in to see him when needed. Great bedside manner and spends quality time with his patients, minimum 20 minutes.

Dr. Winkler has been my private physican for 10 years. He is an excellent doctor, identifying and treating difficult conditions. His office is extremely well run. The nurses and other staff are very, very helpful. I especially like that he (or another on-call physician) is truly available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the case of emergencies, he has immediately conferred with the doctors at an ER to ensure that I got the care I needed. He is a member of MDVIP, which cost $ 1500 a year. But, considering what the cost of a very extensive yearly physical would be (which is free), and the fact that he is really available all the time, I think it is well worth the cost.
