The Mobile Minister

My husband and I had our ceremony at the Eldorado Canyon Mines which is about 45 minutes south of the Las Vegas strip on January 23, 2016. It is a beautiful setting and I highly recommend it! After some Internet searching, I found Roland. Roland made everything SO easy from the beginning. His website is easy to use and straight forward. We made our deposit for his services about a month and a half before the ceremony. We communicated a few times before the ceremony through email and texting which is ideal for me since I don’t always have time to have a phone conversation. We are also from out-​of-​state so being able to have communication at my fingertips made me feel that much more calm about everything. When the big day came, it was beautifully done! He was very energetic and excited to be a part of an important day in our lives. He graciously catered to our needs since neither my husband nor I are religious it was important that there weren’t any references to biblical parts of a more traditional ceremony. Instead, he made our ceremony about joining our lives together and what marriage truthfully is about: a union of two lives. He is extremely polite and brings everything he advertises and more to your wonderful day! We purchased the basic package from his website but I feel he went above and beyond that. Our license was filed within 3 days of our ceremony so that we were able to order our certificate online in no time at all. Once the ceremony was over, we were able to pay the rest of our fee with Roland online.
If you want a hassle-​free officiant, I highly recommend Roland. He really has perfected his craft!

Our wedding was beautiful, memorable and fun, and Roland had a HUGE part in making it such a success. We had originally intended to have my friend officiate, but when she had to cancel, I found The Mobile Minister. From the very beginning he impressed me with his quick responses and flexibility.
We met before the ceremony at the Aliante Nature Discovery Park (which I also recommend if you want a quick, free, pretty setting for a wedding!) and Roland asked us some questions to make our ceremony more personal. The joy he experiences in his job is infectious and soon all of our nervous energy was more focused on the beauty of the day.

Roland is amazing! I wish I was a professional writer so I can truly express on this site the impact he had on our wedding day and what a fabulous job he did. From the first contact I had with him he exceeded all expectations of what an officiant should offer a bride. I found him online and we have been communicating for the last 10 months or so. He has always been prompt, kind, and professional. I had a lot of questions and he was so helpful. Even after the wedding he has continued to help us– always going above and beyond the call of duty. It was important to me to have Elvis at my wedding because my grandma loved Elvis and he made it all so special. I didn’t want anyone to know that Elvis would be officiating and I couldn’t have done that without Roland’s help. His ceremony was the perfect blend of Las Vegas fun and romance. Our guests simply loved him and enjoyed taking photos with him after the ceremony. My biggest regret is that I didn’t just bite the bullet and pay for a person to video the ceremony because he was just that epic! I continue to hear comments saying that our wedding was the best they have ever been to and I think that is mostly due to Roland August.

Roland did a wonderful job! The ceremony was intimate and very beautiful. We are still getting compliments from friends and family members. I definitely recommend! He can accommodate any venue.
