The Juice Standard

First time here! I usually frequent Pressed Juicery, but this place is way closer to me so I decided to check it out. Staff was very friendly and she offered us samples of any of the juices, smiling and very understanding I love the service here. THOUGH, I asked to purchase the bee energized and bee pure, as I drove away I realized that the lady had given me the bee vibrant one which is the cayenne lemonade one –_​_​_​– I understand mistakes happen and the bee pure and vibrant are the same color, but best to avoid something that has cayenne; it was quite a surprise when I drank the juice. Overall I will come back and try it again.

I was waiting for my appointment at a nearby business and realized that I was starving, so I thought I would stop in for some juice.
I decided to order a smoothie (I think it was called Berry Anti-​oxidizing) and it was delicious. Definitely a great meal substitute and only 300 calories.
The inside is super cute, although there was nobody in there. Doesn’t seem like the best location to just «chill.» The staff was super friendly and I was on my way in just a few minutes.
They offer individual juices as well as smoothies and packaged cleanses. I’ve done a juice cleanse before and I just didn’t see the benefits, so I won’t be doing it again — but all of their juices sound very interesting and they will help you design a cleanse that best suits you, if you’re interested.

I’ve been driving past this spot for awhile now and finally decided to check it out. I was going to Juice NV in Henderson but they closed. While The Juice Standard is just a little bit higher in price I do like it that the bottles are in glass (not plastic) and you can get a $ 1 back if you recycle. I’ve been around sick people all week so decided to try the flu shot, while not that tasty, (think apple cider vinegar with spices, yeesh) I have yet to get sick, so maybe it works! I also tried a juice, I can’t remember the name of it but it was chocked full of everything including dandelion (don’t laugh I hear they are highly nutritious) The juice was good and the staff seemed very knowledgable and friendly. I wish this place was a little closer to where I work and I would be by more often (I need to tell the people at Body Focus Fitness to start importing their juices) that way I can cut back on the pizza and tacos!

My time at home is better when I visit Juice Standard. Ben is always so helpful and sensitive to my vegan needs

I haven’t felt inclined to write many reviews as of lately. I pulled up since I drive by this St. Rose location daily so on my day off why not?! I approach the door and make sure they’re not closed or about to close. I have an hour left so I go inside. As soon as I walk in the AMAZING! Ben ask me if I’ve been here, tells me about the company and offers me a mini breakdown of their menu. Dazzled by the all organic ingredients and choices I stand there baffled lol. Immediately Ben senses my struggle and offers me a tasting. To which I accept rapidly. They have a vast, exiting, and interesting menu! From cashew milk, lavender, cardamom, black pepper, dandelion and turmeric to your classic favorites like lemon, honey, agave, carrot, cucumber and kale. I went with the popular Bee Wealthy and Bee Excellent for my first two take home choices. They do also have food choices which, to be honest I didn’t even glance at (I will next time promise!), the store was immaculate! Both of the employees actually washed their hands before touching any of the ingredients or gloves they put on to assist me and the other customers there. I enjoy my moment spent there and I will most definitely be going back. Be mindful during winter they close at 7pm and in the summer they close at 8pm. Let your taste buds guide you and stay healthy!

The Juice Standard has been my favorite for a while! =) I love their juice cleanse, I find most of their mixes to be very yummy. My favorite drink there is a nut milk called Bee Excellent, it’s green and amazing. Try a sample of it! That’s another thing… They offer samples! I realize most juice places now offer a sample but I am almost sure The Juice Standard set this standard in Vegas for this. I love being able to taste a product before making a purchase. Recently I’ve been drinking the shakes as a meal replacement and I’m not able to recall the name but it’s the first one on the list on the board, I add dates to it and its delicious! I bring back a chocolate chia seed pudding with chocolate granola for breakfast for the next AM, dig this as well! I know it’s easy to make chia pudding at home and probably a lot less $$ but for the person that has limited time and on the go, I find this to be a great option. The staff are very kind and friendly. So glad you guys are on my side of town now!

Friendly staff however the Chia pudding I had has absolutely no flavor for six dollars and the juice is a little bit overpriced almost $ 10 I think nine dollars was the price I was in that atmosphere is nice if I didn’t have to know on top of my putting it would taste like nothing which isn’t a good sign especially for six dollars

I loved this place. I am sick with autoimmune issues and while it’s pricey, it’s so nice to find someone who «gets» this and what you’re looking for. Very knowledgeable young people who will take the time to very knowingly walk you through their juices. They know their ingredients inside and out and know people’s issues. Give me a fine juice and a good homey John Mayer song and hope springs eternal! Heart u juice standard!

I checked this place out on reference from a colleague. Quite honestly, I love the idea of juicing, but it is a TON of work and clean up — most of which I just simply do not have time for. So, here, you pay for convenience and organic ingredients (mostly).
I won’t kid anyone — this place is expensive. I bought 4 juices totalling approximately $ 47. Each juice (depending on which juice you choose) ranges from $ 9 – 13 — and this is not including any shots of espresso or extras you may want. My personal favorites are the Bee Royal (Apple, Lemon, and Ginger) and the Bee Happy (tastes like chocolate milk!).
The staff are all nice, and are very helpful. You even get to sample each juice prior to purchasing, which is a huge plus for me. The place is easy to get to, and the shopping center the Juice Standard is in does not seem to be overly busy…
However, the last time I stopped by, the doors were locked tight. The sign reads that the business is open until 8 pm. I was there promptly at 7:30. So if you want some juice in the evening, best to be there earlier, as it seems they do not necessarily follow the «doors are to remain unlocked during business hours» motto.
Five stars for the juice itself! It really is delicious!

This is an orgasm in your mouth! Yes it’s healthy and yes it’s pricey. But it’s worth it because it’s all coldpressed. Great for vegans, veggie, high blood pressure, dieters, anyone!

Do you care about your body and what you intake? Well so do they at the Juice Standard.
A friend of mine recently turned me onto this place so it was a must to check it out. Great location and well build out location, i dig the setup with the tasting bar as some of these juices might not be to everyone’s taste right off the bat. A taste helps customers make better decisions to something they may like more than taking something blind home and not returning because it just wasnt for them. Super knowledgeable the staff helped me find what i believe was «Bee on Point» that was more than a meal in itself, and actually couldnt finish it in one sitting. Quality product you can obviously taste. I will comment like others that isnt not exactly budget food here but you pay for quality. Pay now and maintain your body, or pay later with medical bills from years of living unhealthy.
Ill make mention of their «bullproof» coffee also. Although i havent had the chance to enjoy it yet. I will soon… (actually maybe today). The price point of most i have seen around town is $ 6.50 and even one place wanted to charge additional for the MCT addition. I believe Juice Standard was priced at $ 4.50, which is solid pricing and worth regular visits instead of «candy in a cup» Starbucks at more $$$.

Stepping in to pick up some juice for the weekend and it was a friendly clean environment. The sweet girl at the counter sat and explained the juices and also gave me sample of each one with out any hesitation. I suggest the Be Happy and Be Legendary and the Acai Bowl! So good and so fresh tasting!

This is a cool place or at least the concept is. Yes, some may think the prices are high, but you pay for the convenience of not having to buy a cold press machine, all the organic ingredients, and spend the time making your own juice. Now that we are past the price issue, the staff have always been nothing short of AMAZING.
They do NOT give a military discount except on special holidays I am told but that is ok. The one issue I do have with this place, is the juice is not prepared here, it is prepared at their store across town and trucked over. What does that mean?
There is only a limited supply of juices available at any given time. Even though the menu shows all juices they provide, a Half Moon shows which one’s they do not have. So out of the 14 or so items I counted on the menu, 6 were not available???
Needless to say I left this place with a smoothie but no juice to take home. WHY???
There are certain ingredients I do not like in my juice and it just so happened that the 6 juices that do not include that ingredient were the one’s they did not have. Since we were there primarily for my wife who has to have several juices a day because of a current medical condition she is fighting, I told her not to worry about me and pick the juices she likes.
I am sure she will be back there several times as this is a place to grab a premade juice on the go, its quick, easy and make a great meal replacement boost your energy and give you what you need to keep going without the food coma effect.
This is a place you should give a try if you need a quick juice, like I said the staff is AMAZING, this place is VERY easy to get in and out of and they have a few good healthy snacks as well. Stop in, understand you are paying for the convenience having a cold pressed juice made and ready to go AND if you bring the bottle back, they will give you a discount on your next purchase…

This is by far my favorite juice bar in Las Vegas, and I’ve tried them all. They’re one of the only ones (if not the only) that uses all organic ingredients and bottles in glass versus plastic. (thank you for not contributing to the plastic waste issue that the world is facing!) Plus it really motivates customers to return the bottles since you get $ 1.00 back per bottle (or use towards your next juice)
Also, the variety and flavor profiles are the best and most cohesive of all the juice places I’ve tried in this town.
They are on the top end price that a juice can get (the quality is worth it) …I would give 5 stars if there were a system in place to get some kind of discount or deal if you regularly buy from them or purchase cleanses as often as I do. You could literally walk in and buy a whole week cleanse from them (hundreds and hundreds of dollars) and not get $ 5 off… That bothers me, and limits how often I choose to do full cleanses.

Place definitely deserves 5 stars and the only reason I rated them a 4, is pricing! Who can pay almost $ 20 for juice and 1 shot of espresso?! Super expensive! Maybe they can switch the containers? Will that decrease the cost?

The Juice Standard is located in a great place, across the street from Lifetime Athletic and down the street from The District. Walk in and the modern-​chic décor is appealing, the soft fabrics and crystal bobbles chandelier juxtaposed with the metal chairs and industrial metal bookcase, the beehive motif painted in the wall, cute, very cute.
There’s black chalkboard signs with the different cold pressed juices, smoothies and juice shot offerings.
The two gentlemen working there were friendly and offered to let me sample whatever they have in the menu. I sampled 3 – 4 and decided to go with a flu shot even though I was feeling fine (apple cider vinegar, turmeric, oil of oregano, black pepper, very tasty), and 3 juices, Bee Grateful (a carrot, ginger, lemon, pineapple mix, super tasty!!), Bee Legendary (a chai tasting nut milk, tasty), and Bee Excellent (a beautiful blue color from spirulina, cashew milk with vanilla and some other good things).
Overall I was pleased with the service and quality of product. I didn’t notice the prices though until I checked out (I don’t think they are listed) $ 10 – 12 seems to be the average per jar, $ 5 for a health shot. Honestly, organic and eating healthier can more expensive, I agree, and I’ve been to a few similar juice places, these prices are pretty average. The only thing I didn’t like, when checking out they use Square payment system which a tip/​gratuity screen pops up. It makes you feel very obligated to give a 15 and up percent tip. I’m no cheapskate, but I’m already spending $ 42 on juices, now I have to give another $ 6 – 7 in tip? I’ll always throw a couple bucks in a tip jar, but when the screen pops up and the person waiting on you is standing there, you do feel obligated to click on the 15 or 20 percent.
One bonus; they will credit you $ 1 per returned glass bottle.

Over priced! I have been a big fan of the juice standard since they first opened up on the southwest part of town. And I couldn’t wait for the henderson location to open up since I live in henderson now.
So I though well instead of Starbucks today I’ll go get a fresh nutmilk and espresso. And come to find out I paid 17.22 for 1 nutmilk and double espresso. I was floored when I saw the price. Unfortunately they already made the drink and I already swiped my card or I would have cancelled it.
This is out of control. I could buy and make at least 8 glasses of nutmilk with that cost. This is a total ripe off.
I will only return if the prices become more reasonable. And I’d be willing to change my review if the prices lower. But it absolutely outrageous to pay 17.22 for 1 espresso drink. I could get a full organic meal for less than that.
Not cool!

Thank you The Juice Standard for opening on this side of town. Location is odd, but it’s actually sneakily easy to get to. Love this place.
Sure it’s a few dollars more than a juice at Whole Foods and a five-​spot more than the «juices» at F&E, but neither of them offer dandelion, turmeric, parsley, agave, cayenne, cinnamon, charcoal, etc as ingredients in their concoctions. Be forewarned, this location doesn’t make them — they are made at the west-​side facility and trucked over in prepackaged bottles.
Some of you might find the price too damn high; hell, a whole pizza at Little Caesers or Pizza Hut will set you back less than one juice here. But price be damned after 2 months of 12-​hour workdays and too much fast-​food my body needs more juice and less pizza.
And nut milk makes your skin glow. Just ask Jenna J — it was the crack, not the nut milk, that did her face in. Raunchy kidding aside, that they have several cashew-​milk based ‘juices’ that can act as a meal replacement is brilliant.
I understand the business model of the store, but it would be sweet if they had a light offering of specialty and non-​perishable (and locally-​sourced) groceries — organic chips and sauces, ultra-​high end protein powders and vitamins, organic honey and bee pollen, etc.
Don’t forget to return that bottle for a $ 1 discount next time!
