I am so impressed with how the managers, specifically Sarah (glasses and pregnant), go out of their way. Incredibly helpful to me and really went above and beyond. This location is farther but prefer to come to this one for the customer service!

Customer service is horrible here!
Now I’ve been coming here for 6 months straight since I moved here and their was never anything great about the service I’ve received. The last few times have just been leaving a bad taste in my mouth and today was the final straw! I was in line with 2 transactions (making a payment and purchasing items) This «wonderful» associate who was cashiering has such a bad attitude!
I greeted her more than 3 times and she never acknowledged me at ALL! She is complaining to another employee about what time is it and when can she go home! She walks away from me in the middle of my transaction and another employee starts the transaction and the complaining one comes back to finish it and still has a bad attitude. She never apologized for walking away during the transaction and gave me grief about my boxes (I count the number of boxes before I get up to the register so they don’t have do it) but she still gave me a hard time!
This employee clearly hates working in the customer service aspect and shouldn’t be working with customers! She wanted to be off her shift so bad why don’t you stay your unhappy self at home! –_​_​_​–

I am in the process of purchasing new carpet. I had the most knowledgeable, professional and courteous sales associate help me. Her name is Kelly Martinez. The sales associate was trying to process my order for quite some time due to some problems with discount promotional codes malfunctioning. I haven’t seen a sales person work so hard! If you are shopping for carpets Kelly is the most knowledgeable person by far! The Home Depot is located in Henderson, NV.

Thank you to Sara, one of the Managers over at the Home Depot on Marks street in Henderson. She truly understands the meaning of customer service and always strides toward doing what is best for her customers. Even if it means going up against venders recommended by Home Depot. Once again she came through for us when we couldn’t get anywhere with the shower door installers. I would recommend this Home Depot for all your home needs.

Asked a staff about outdoor wood and was told they offer free in-​home consultation and quotes. So I gave them my cell phone. Now I’m getting solicitation calls for new windows, carpet cleaning, cabinets, you name it… ! Not happy they do this. I assume Home Depot would be savvy enough to keep customers info private. NO, they share my cell number with every contractors in the country from CA to FL.

We went to this Home Depot and purchased all new appliances for our entire house. Washer & Dryer, Refrigerator, Stove/​Oven Range, Microwave Oven, & Dishwasher. We thought that we were getting a decent deal. The employee helping us showed us the list of appliance that we were purchasing and what the total would be (several THOUSAND dollars). We were also told installation fees would be waived due to the magnitude of our purchase. When delivery day came, they only had part of the order and said the rest would be delivered the following day. On the following day, the remaining appliances arrived, except the dishwasher. We were then told that we never purchased one by Home Depot delivery guys and their customer service people. It turns out they snuck in a lot of extra charges with brought the total purchase price up significantly, and even though the sales person said it was included in the purchase, it was not. Based on the total price, we didn’t catch it because of all of the hidden fees. We still don’t have a dishwasher and customer service has not been helpful. Oh, and the install job on the appliances that did arrive was shoddy. Fridge water dispenser leaks, etc. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HOME DEPOT. Hidden fees, poor installation, and poor customer service is a bad combination. Especially for a customer that just spent SO MUCH money in their store. Unbelievable.

I was on the phone over 30 minutes to be transferred around 10 times. They def need the store manager & employees communicating a lot more. I had to get a hold of a manager to know what was going on with their DIY project.

The only thing that makes this Home Depot stands out, compared to other locations are the workers. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. I was walking around looking entirely clueless I’m sure, for about 1 minute until someone asked me if I needed help. Usually i say no because I like hunting things down myself but at hardware stores I have no clue what the best products are.
Robert helped me pick out a door knob for my bedroom with a key and even showed me how to install it since there was a box already opened. I was able to go home and easily install it!

There are associates all throughout the store to answer questions, some better than others. As far as a hardware store goes, I think this place is pretty good. I rarely go alone and my boyfriend doesn’t really need much help, but it’s nice to know that they are there just in case we have the occasional question.

Here’s a warning about purchasing major appliances through this store. Their delivery system is really poor and run through a third-​party that is completely non-​responsive.
I purchased an expensive refrigerator/​freezer through this store and paid more than other competitors based upon Home Depot’s promise to deliver within two days. I was promised that they would contact me 24 hours prior to delivery — but I did not receive a call.
The first notice I had of the attempted delivery was a call at 6:30 AM from a truck driver. Because my property was not available at that time (they claim that they can only wait 15 minutes) they refused to deliver today and set me back 3 days. It was particularly disturbing that the delivery company lied and claimed that they had called me yesterday but my phone has no record of call from them or any message and they don’t have any proof of the call.
I had a contractor standing by today to install the unit. He won’t be available on the new delivery in three days — and I could have purchased the unit elsewhere for less and had it delivered before the ultimate delivery date had I known how this store operates.

My experience was sort of hit and miss. The girl at the garden center cash register was like, what the heck. I asked for some help with two big old palms I was going to buy (I’m a plant hoarder, okay) and she just goes «I can’t go back there.» Which is fine, but she didn’t offer me a solution other than telling me to get a dolly thing and get them myself. I wonder if she would’ve said the same to a lil’ old lady? Then when I checked out I don’t think she really even talked to me? It was awkward. Anyway, I put on my big girl panties and wheeled the palms out to my car and wrestled them into my trunk. (And later, up the stairs to my apartment. Independence!)
Then I needed some board and paint stuff… A lady way over at the «pro» section of the store by the lumber helped me out with a question I had and then called someone over to cut board for me. She was nice. The guy who cut the boards was great because he actually measured and put tick marks on the board where I wanted. At other Home Depots sometimes they just slice and dice and sometimes they cut things wrong or crooked. He even put the piece with the barcode on top for me!
I’d give them 5 stars if it weren’t for garden center lady. I know she probably makes like, minimum wage, which sucks, but usually when you see another human you’re like «hi» at least. Oh well.

This review is really for the Home Depot customer order specialist Dana Carriveau. We checked several other stores to have our blinds redone in our new house. We got several other quotes but one beat what Dana did for us. She went above and beyond to get us a great price with the blinds we wanted for our entire two story house. Dana was extremely professional, friendly and most defently knew her stuff! Thank you very much Dana for a great job! We would highly recommend you go to Home Depot and deal with Dana to get what you want at a great price.

Waited 20 min for someone to help purchase a washing machine. Employees in the front were to busy playing with each other to help. When I left I was told sorry and have a nice day. Real nice way to do business never will return to this location.

I am a frequent DIYer and go to hardware stores a lot. Depending on when you shop here your experience will vary. My husband and I were in the garden section looking for a flat bed cart. We were directed to the parking lot by 2 associates who were hanging out. If your a customer service based business you should have some basic customer service skills like having carts for customers to put the stuff on that they are going to buy.
Another few times I went there this week and the associates were friendly and helpful. This is the only reason I keep this store on my list of places for supplies.

Seriously the worst customer service ever my husband went and bought 10 of the 6×8 pieces of the prefab red wood fence and no one offered or asked if he needed help loading it into his truck until he was putting the last piece in. Today we go back to buy 23 bags of the 90lb concrete asked the girl at the register if we could please get some help loading she called the guy twice and he never showed up, so once again my husband loaded 2070 lbs of concrete by himself…

WATER HEATER REPLACEMENT MADE EASY ONLINE
This review is for the «Same Day Water Heater Installation Services» through Henderson Store # 3302. Marks Street, Henderson.
It is very easy to go online to look for what you need on the Home Depot website. In our case we specifically needed to replace a leaking 10 year old Rheem Gas 75 Gallon Water Heater. Ours had finally gone kaput. While online we filled in the «Installation Services Request“and within an hour we received a call from Oscar of Delta Mechanical the plumbing contractors that Home Depot works with for Water Heater Installations. Oscar asked a few questions about the location of the existing water heater, how we knew it was the water heater was going and not something else outside the unit. He then worked up a quote for the water heater, Permit (the installation needs to be inspected) and the labor and sent a copy of it via email. Because of the size of the unit, it was necessary to send two installers. A 75 gallon water heater that’s empty weighs in excess of 350 lbs.
We received by internet the written quote simultaneously as we were talking. Upon acquiescing on the price quote, Oscar then proceeded to tell us the names of the two installers that would be on site before Noon the next day.
As promised, Daniel Milanovic and Villy Stanchev came as quoted before Noon (11:36 am). They reviewed the price quote once again and proceeded to inspect the existing water heater to be certain the water did come from water heater. It took less than ½ hour to totally disconnect the old unit. Next the new unit is unboxed and installed with new connecting pipes and the recirculation pump reconnected
by solder. The old unit is loaded onto their truck and the work area is left totally cleaned. New unit is refilled and we opened up all the faucets in the house to release any pockets of air in the pipes. Next Daniel powered up the recirculating pump. Both were very courteous, efficient and worked for about 1 ½ hours to get the job done.
It’s not uncommon to have to replace water heaters every five to seven years in this valley. Fortunately our unit is in the garage and the water damage was minimal.

Was working on a plumbing project that required replacement parts which I was fortunate to find all in one location.
Tony in the plumbing department was really helpful and I was able to get out of there in record time!

There are 2200+ Home Depot locations worldwide and this location in Henderson is one of their larger square footage locations. You’ll find most of the same SKU’s or inventory on the shelves here as you will at a Home Depot across the valley so product wise it’s pretty well established on what you’re going to find here.
The Henderson location doesn’t have a tool rental location. Service can range from OMG they went over the top to help me find that replacement patio door handle I needed to feeling like I’m standing on the top of Mt. Charleston yelling HELLO and there’s nobody around to hear me. This is a location where they seem to put some emphasis on keeping the shelves stocked which is nice. But if you want some help with a project that involves customization, or you want someone that can think outside of the box to help you track down a part that might work for what you have in mind or recommend the right polyurethane sealer you need for an art project or the next Burning Man art piece you’ll find you are in a big box store and the staff struggles to think outside that box.
More often than not I walk in here and get some of the stuff I need but I usually end up at Lowes ½ mile South to buy everything I need for the wide ranging projects I’m always working on.
3 Stars. (If I need contractor grade items… Home Depot is still my first choice).

If I need to stop at Home Depot, I know what to get for a quick in and out. I don’t like to spend too much time in this store.
It is set up mainly for the contractors. Women… Well not so much. Plus I seem to get harassed by their display sales people every time. I was looking for paint colors this past visit. I was standing there for 30 seconds when they started asking questions about my water. For the hundredth time I don’t want your whole home water filtration system. I have one.
So if I can, I try to send the husband inside so I don’t have to go. I guess maybe that’s how he feels when I take him shoe shopping! Ha!
