Jim Brock
Jim began his career with Motorola Communications and Electronics in 1986. In 1989 he co-founded McIntosh Communications, a Motorola dealer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jim was recruited by Airtime Rentals, the immediate predecessor of Airtel, in 1992 as its general manager and became the President in 1994. Airtime Rentals was sold to Nextel Corporation in 2000. During his tenure with Airtime Rentals he has managed systems for the company in Albuquerque, Kansas City, and Portland, simultaneously. In 1995 Jim co-founded Airtel of Little Rock, an SMR service provider and served as its President. Airtel of Little Rock was sold to Chadmoore Wireless in 1996. In 1997 Jim started Wireless Warehouse, in Las Vegas, a refurbisher and reseller of used hand-held radios. In 1999 Jim co-founded Airtime SMR, Inc., an SMR service provider, in Lincoln and Omaha.
