History

Established in 1999.

National Youth Sports — Nevada opened in 1999 in the Las Vegas, NV area. After many small seasons, the league began to grow quickly in the early 2000’s, reaching a total of nearly 20,000 participants by 2010. Unfortunately, due to a less than stellar economy and a turnover in staff, the league began to come apart in 2011. After 18 months poor performance, an ownership group made up of former employees purchased NYS Nevada in June of 2012 in order to restore the company and do it locally! The new ownership group is making strides each season to not only restore NYS Nevada to one of the best leagues in the state, but to improve it over all!
