MyShape Lipo

Went in for a consultation expecting to talk with the physician or PA. Instead has the office manager with no medical expertise suggest what I needed! WTF kind of place is this… Would not recommend if the PA doesn’t even have the time to sit down with a potential patient to talk about the procedure or go over medical questions. If there were 0 stars to give I would. GO TO A BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIAN… OTHERWISE KNOWN AS AN MD!!!

I had my procedure here by Dr. Trevor and his amazing staff! I couldn’t have asked for a more successful day at the doctor! Not only was I treated with the upmost professionalism I felt like the entire staff was very caring and made my crazy anxiety go away with how they treated me! Doctor Trevor answered all my nervous annoying questions and walked me through the entire procedure. His amazing assistant showed compassion and was very patient with me! She even walked around with me after everything was completed to make me feel more comfortable. I cannot wait for the outcome because this is such a personal procedure and experience I wouldn’t recommend another practice, staff or doctor to complete such a procedure. Huge thank you for such an amazing experience guys. Keep up the amazing work, your future patients should have the same experience and you will continue to make a lot of people feel beautiful and happy! Thanks again!

BUYER BEWARE Stay away!
I’m giving MyShapeLipo only one star based on my experience with them. It’s been six weeks and I can see the results. I’m not really displeased.
I went in the beginning of Dec for the consultation with the office manager Brianna. After her examination, we agreed on three areas for a price of $ 3899. I put down my $ 500 deposit. Several weeks later on the day of the procedure, I paid the balance and proceeded into the room. While dressed in a hospital gown Trevor came in to mark me for the procedure. He coldly stated that there were four areas and to continue I would need to come up with $ 1299 more. I replied that in the consultation three areas were agreed upon. He firmly stated «No, four areas not three». He was willing to do only three the areas (I pick which three areas I preferred), but stated that I «would not be pleased with the results.» From the coldness in his voice, I didn’t know if that was a comment, a promise or a threat. After thinking how far I had come at that point and I would most likely lose my deposit, I agreed to the added cost. Trevor left the room.
Brianna (office manager) came in to ask how was I going to pay for the added cost. When I complained about the added cost, she blithely replied «He’s the expert.» I said since I didn’t have my charge card on, my husband would pay the balance when he picked me up. She replied everything had to be paid upfront.
They claim the lipo procedure is relatively painless. True. They don’t tell you that the administering of the local anesthesia is very painful. Trevor was totally apathetic to my pain. His only concern seemed to be how fast he could get out of there.
I guess what really upset me was that the error on the cost was on their part and it seemed to be part of the job. There was no apology, no attempt to negotiate the difference. The fact that I had a written agreement meant nothing. I have to wonder, was this the only time this has happened?
I would never recommend this place.

So turned off! I went for a consultation, I Was ready to spend money in this place. The receptionist looked like she just got it if bed. Baseball t, sweats and converse with a bun on her head. I never saw the dr because he wasn’t there so the receptionist did the consult… Very unprofessional.

I did the fat transfer to face, after 3 weeks my face was back to the way is was before I had the procedure, I followed all the instructions I was supposed to do afterwards and it did not work, so I’m out $ 2,000.00, I was offered to go go back and try it again for free because they are not willing to give me my $ 2,000.00 back and so I made my appointment but I know I’m going to have the same result and now I know I’m not going to be able to keep that appointment, so I bid farewell to my $ 2,000.00. Expensive lesson learned.

I just got 4 areas of lipo done at Myshape and I couldn’t be happier! I just went I’m yesterday, but everything went so well, I had to write my review now. (I will also post father along in my results.) From the moment I found them everything was easy. Over the phone the girl I had spoken with was super informative and definitely answered all of my questions and more. The office consultation was quick and informative as well. They got me in 1 week after I my consultation, which was awesome.
The day of the procedure everything went smoothly. They explained everything that was going to be going on, took before pictures, and talked me about what the best way to deal with my problems areas would be. Trevor was doing the actual liposuction itself. He was funny and made me relaxed. The worst part was just the numbing, which is expected. After that there was no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Trevor does a great job and really works hard and takes his time so that he can get you the best results.
This was a great experience all around. I would highly recommend Myshape for any liposuction procedure you want!

I had chin liposuction about a year and a half ago before my wedding & my results have been amazing. I have noticed a big difference especially in photos and couldn’t be happier. I have received lots of compliments and people have wondered if I have lost overall weight.

Took me about 6 – 8 months to find the right place to have my «male chest reduction» procedure performed. NOT gynecomastia, but simply excess fatty tissue I wanted removed. I narrowed it down to two facilities but quickly narrowed it to one after contacting MyShapeLipo in Henderson, Nevada. I initially spoke with Brandy who could not have been more polite, informative and professional. Terrific start to my journey to have this procedure done and, frankly, it only got better. After emailing, calling the facility, I wished to speak directly with Trevor who was going to actually perform the procedure for me. Within 5 minutes, he was on the phone explaining the details of the «surgery» as well as the down time, importance of the garment that I will need to wear afterwards, and of course the discomfort level I would experience. Truthfully, after that conversation, I again spoke with Brandy and provided 25% deposit for the $ 1,995.00 procedure (VERY good price). Fast forward 2 minths and I arrived at McCarron Airport, NV from Boston and was picked up by Homewood Suites van and brought to my hotel which was phenomenal. It was $ 110.00 per night which includes all taxes (MyShapeLipo has the corporate rate for you to use).
Arrived on a Thur, had the procedure the following day at 9am ! Met the entire staff who were, again, professional and accommodating ! Not only the most attractive staff I’ve ever seen but beyond their looks, they were very, very professional !
After photos, blood pressure etc, Trevor came in, introduced himself and put me at ease. The procedure began but was NOT totally pain free. Do not think that you will be totally pain free but remember, I insisted that Trevor be «aggressive» as I wanted as much fatty tissue extracted as possible. He removed 1 liter. That’s a lot !
Trevor is all business and is there to make you happy… communicate your thoughts to him and his staff and all will be well.
Post procedure, there as drainage, yes. OBVIOUSLY. To the «nurse» who left her rating… I have this comment. Please be serious … of course there is discomfort, drainage and wet compression garments. OBVIOUSLY. Mine last throughout the day after procedure but I went to the hotel (walking distance across the lot) and watched movie, picked up a pizza, went to CVS for antibiotics next to hotel and relaxed for the night.
Was it uncomfortable? Yes, Was there drainage? Yes. Was the staff at MSL incredibly helpful? Yes
Here is am, home, 16 days post op and the swelling is down, a bit tender but my chest is getting exactly the way I want it to be… tighter, more narrow and defined.
I could not be happier… By the way, You receive weekly emails from the staff indicating what you should expect as the days progress.
I could not be happier… Trevor and his staff are top notch. Definitely worth it.
Oh, why does he not use sutures? It is NOT at all necessary… drainage needs to drain… being a nurse the other post should have known that !

PS … why not 5 stars? Because I thought that the garment was not the best of quality but was still effective but I bought a $ 30.00 compression tshirt… much better ! But not a big deal !.

Being a nurse I didn’t mind the fact that Trevor is a physician assistant and NOT a physician. I know that physician assistants and nurse practitioners can do many things a physician can do and cheaper. The staff are very pleasant, but that is where my good experience ended. The pain (stomach area) was almost unbearable and I was pumped so full of numbing fluid that, once I got home, the fluids saturated my pants. Trevor doesn’t stitch because he believes it to decrease the scarring, but I believe that in this case it was necessary. I spent the next 6 hours cleaning up after myself because whenever I walked or did anything-​fluids ran freely, dripping down my legs and onto the floor. I had to sleep naked on a shower curtain on my leather couch because I would’ve totally saturated a mattress. The areas where the holes were (bottom of my stomach) were difficult to cover and everything became saturated. The next day was the same thing and I couldn’t go anywhere because I was afraid that my pants would become saturated in seconds with bloody fluids seeping from these holes. So, in essence, I was walking around naked in my apartment with maxi pads strapped all around these holes smelling like a piece of bloody raw meat because really-​it WAS that bad. I knew there would be drainage, but this was ridiculous. I even angrily stated so on the phone to one of the girls that answered. There was no call back or suggestions and certainly no apology for the lack of communication that your fluids WILL flow through these holes like the Colorado River for the next couple of days! I can now laugh about all of this and say NEVER AGAIN. The results were good considering my stomach was big. Is it flat? No, but the lipo did take it down a notch but not enough for me to ever go back. I have had lipo in my arms before this (by a physician) and the numbing fluid was minimal and very effective. I didn’t feel a thing and there was minimal drainage because the area was stitched and the scarring was still very minimal! I know that different areas result in different pain levels, but I find it odd that it did very little to numb the pain when getting a procedure done at My Shape Lipo. Just an FYI there…
Two suggestions to Trevor: Please stitch problem areas because you people know about this drainage problem! This experience was awful considering the constant drainage over a two day period! I didn’t enjoy getting my carpet professionally cleaned because of the stains this drainage left behind. I know you believe that not stitiching the area leads to better results, faster recovery time, and less scarring, but if I had known what was going to happen next I would’ve demanded to be stitched. I would’ve never had the procedure knowing the horrible and constant drainage that would follow! Number two, have the person take two Vicodin before the procedure because, for some people, the numbing fluid isn’t enough.
Overall-​I believe the pain and inconvenience was NOT worth the results in this situation. However, I believe that in other situations My Shape Lipo could be a very helpful and inexpensive option. Please know that I am giving this review more than two months after the procedure.
