Prior to opening Massage Heights Adobe Plaza in Henderson NV, my business background had been in real estate sales and development. Massage was something that I required weekly for back pain and relaxation. A friend introduced me to the massage membership concept in 2005. At first, I thought there is no way that I would want to join a membership program but after my first experience, I quickly changed my mind! Membership based massage allowed me to continue my weekly massages at more than half the cost! It also allowed me to experience a wide range therapists, all with their own signature massage techniques. I grew to love the concept so much that I decided to open my own franchise. After much research, I found Massage Heights to be the best and ONLY choice. Because of my love for massage, we hire only the best massage therapists and have a great local reputation for doing so. The massage was great, but I was kind of confused if my masseuse was upset at me. The massage cost $ 20 I tipped her 10, when she looked at the tip she had a upset look in her face and didn’t say thank you. A coworker told me in the bathroom there is a sign that shows a mad face if you tip 5 $ to $ 10 that it is an insult. I just don’t understand how a massage can cost $ 20 and a $ 10 tip is bad. How much should I tip I don’t mind tipping at all it was my first time was that a bad tip?

My masseuse gets 5 stars. But the front desk took it down to 4. Very pushy on getting a membership. I had just received the 1 hour massage as a gift and they were so pushy on getting their $ 600 membership. That’s not pocket change, calm down. Anyways I had Alexis, she was PHENOMENAL. It was my first massage ever and she was so awesome. I had surgery on my wrist a month prior and she totally worked around it! If I go back it’ll be for her!

Today was my first time here and when I called I initially requested a female therapist. After I explained the type of pains I was having to Diane, who answered the phone, she suggested a certain male therapist because of his experience. I was grateful that she took the time to consider the best therapist for my particular needs and quickly agreed.
I walked in a few minutes before my appointment. The lobby was immaculate and the front office staff just as friendly in person as on the phone. My massage was absolutely incredible. Thomas, my therapist, was amazing from personality to skill. Several hours later I see why he was so highly recommended by the staff. What an asset to their team.
It’s been several years since my last massage, but the incredible experience I had here definitely has me considering a membership with them. Thanks, Thomas!

I’ve been going here for months & have yet to put in a review. This isn’t one of those places where your massage is the exact same as the person before you like we have several of here. Every single time I have been in it’s been different. They centralize & customize the massages to your liking/​needs. I have CFT/​CPD, fibro, & arthritis, so they are actually pretty essential for me to get through the pain days. The therapists offer suggestions & stretches to do to help ease the pain between the massages & never are condescending.
I don’t have a specific therapist I go to since my scheduling is always hectic, but I’ve never been let down. All of the therapists here are professional & attentive.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THEY WILL RANDOMLY CHARGE YOUR CARD ANYTIME THEY FEEL ENTITLED! I went here back in 2012, got a couple massages to help with a back injury and then when it got better I stopped going. Meanwhile they kept charging my card every month anyway. I realized it a while later and canceled my account. I had paid for 10 – 12 massages I never used at this point. Let it go, 2 years later I get a call from a collections agency claiming I owed them over ten thousand dollars, I disputed it as a mistake or something, never heard back so I assumed it was over. Then 2 months ago they played with expiration dates until they hit the new one for my credit card and charged me just shy of 1000 bucks. I have not set foot in the place in years and yet they felt they were entitled to take 1000 dollars from me, without my authorization and without my correct card information. Use this place at your own risk, they will literally steal from you. When I disputed the charge they are currently fighting it claiming the membership contract gives them the right to take money from your account as they determined it is owed for all time. Stay away!

World-​class massage right in your backyard ~ As someone who travels internationally regularly, I have found that a competent masseuse is a necessity to work out the kinks suffered after 30 hours of traveling to a destination. The massages in SE Asia, particularly Vietnam, always was my «gold-standard»…until now. I typically don’t sign up for ‘ongoing’ charges, unless I am positive I will use the services. Massage Heights has everything you could look for: 1) Extremely helpful and pleasant front-​desk staff, 2) Flexible contracts (I can put the contract on hold, which is helpful for me when I travel) and a 3) Comfortable and clean environment. Now about the massage… Jessica is in a class by herself… she must have had some acupressure training, as she knew exactly where it hurt, what areas needed more attention, and the correct pressure to use. Although a little light in the conversation department, she knew exactly what she was doing and was a consummate professional.

Another awesome experience with Basha today– she is so intuitive, she works my whole body from top of head to tips of toes, she uses her whole body to stretch me out, kneeds the knots, then returns to them a second time to complete the treatment! I feel I stand straighter, and my balance is better when she is finished. Every visit she brings some new technique to this amazing session– I encourage all looking for a first rate full-​body experience to give Massage Heights & Basha a try… u won’t be disappointed! Each month I look forward to my massage with Michael. He has the keen knack to find and fix, all my tension and tight muscles and I always feel good for days after. He aways checks in with me to make sure the appointment is going well so that he can increase or backoff the pressure. The front office is always pleasant.

I have been going to Massage Heights since my husband bought me a gift card for Mother’s Day. My first massage was so wonderful that I signed up for the membership. I knew exactly what I signed up for and I knew that having this membership would make me get the massages I needed. I go about once a month and usually bump up from the 60 minutes my membership covers to a 90-​minute session. About 3 massages in I was scheduled with Michael and I have requested him ever since. His pressure is just right and I leave completely relaxed each time. The receptionist are always pleasant both on the phone and at the front desk. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend this location.

I am submitting a review on LMT Jeanette. She was AMAZING. She mixed up pressure when needed. Sensitive touch at times hard pressure at times. It was perfect. Would go back just for her ability. Wish more massage therapists were like her.

I want to begin this by saying that my masseuse Jessie was AMAZING and I would return just for her work IF she worked at another massage clinic. The front desk experience left MUCH to be desired. When I first went in I knew I needed a lot of work because I workout and have a lot of tension from work and school. I decided to sign up for the monthly membership package to make it less expensive for my massages. This experience is the reason for this review. The girl at the front desk, Forest is friendly enough but her rushed, disorganized inability to multitask is the reason I’m CANCELLING my membership. She was assisting another customer and answering the phone while it was my turn at the desk. I signed up for the package and left. This is when I got a phone call saying that she made a mistake with my credit card and needed to run it again. Without hesitation I allowed her to do so and went on with my day. That is the beginning of my frustration with Forest and the lack of training and professionalism Massage Heights is represented with at the front desk. My membership fee was supposed to be debited ONCE A MONTH with the first payment taken out on OCTOBER 17th. This was on SEPTEMBER 17th. I check my checking account daily and when I did so the next day I noticed my monthly membership fee for OCTOBER had already been deducted. I called the manager Diane and she assured me it would be refunded. Well it is now OCTOBER 15th and I have NO REFUND AND ANOTHER DEBIT FOR OCTOBER!!! I’m just going to cancel the membership, I’m REALLY uneasy about their handling of my credit card.

Walk-​in massage. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. When I went in for my massage my linens were dirty, from the quilt to the fitted sheet, down to the skirt of the table, NOT OK. My massage was with Jeanette and she was good but not great, her elbow and forearm work was amazing but kept hitting bony landmarks when I was in the prone position, the pressure was very good, I asked for Swedish focus work and it seemed as though she prefers to give deep tissue. Although in supine, the hot towel under my neck was a nice, the flow of the Swedish massage for the arms was really good. It would have been nice if there was more levator and scalene work done.
I might go back when I’m in town again but I’m going to make sure that I check everything before I lay on the table.

So this is an update to my precious review.
I’m not rating based on a single person like I did on my last review.
All in all, I wasn’t too happy with Massage Heights. I had a 6 month membership. Once that expired I stopped getting friendly reminders of my monthly massages. They were just charging me for it and expecting me to call, which I did. The staff is really friendly and the masseuse know what they are doing. But the «1 hour» massage being 40 – 45 minutes is not my cup of tea. I moved over to a different massage place that charges more but I know they give me a 50 – 55 minute massage.
I’m done with this place. Thanks massage heights!

Checked this place out a few weeks ago, more so because they offer a maternity massage. Even better we called and they were able to schedule us a few hours later. Definitely would recommend checking it out as they offer a introduction massage for $ 50 for 50 minutes.
Venue is nice and more appropriately serene. The front desk staff were friendly, as were the massage therapists. I did not get the therapists name whom assisted my lady, but she did say he was great. She was very impressed with the pregnancy pillow they had, she was in love with the weightlessness… which helped relieve the pressure off her back. I myself would definitely recommend Kelsey. I mentioned it had been years since I had a proper massage, so she eased me back into it.
I will say though the $ 50 introductory price is great, but the monthly of $ 80 membership. Not sure if they offer an in-​between, will have to be something I ask next time we go.

I love this location! The front desk staff is extremely friendly. My normal therapist is Modesta and she is wonderful. She is frequently booked up as she only works a few days a week, but she is worth it.
I did have a negative experience with one of the male therapists, Cesar. The overall massage was awful. I have never been in so much pain during a massage. Even when I said it was causing me pain, he said it was just because I was «tense.» On top of that, he was extremely unprofessional. He did not stop talking the entire massage. He was asking me very personal questions. Such as my age (he thought I was only 17, when in reality I am 23), he asked where I liked to «party» and «which clubs were my favorite.» I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time and was glad I only booked a 60 minute massage versus my normal 90 minute. When I informed the receptionist she was very apologetic and said she would let the manager know. She also said she would put a note in my file to not schedule me with him ever again, which was comforting.
Aside from that one mishap, this location is lovely. I just wish they had a quiet room to sit in to relax before your massage instead of just sitting out in the lobby area.

Here is the problem with this place: the turn over is outrageous. Just as you find someone that you like, the therapist quits. The booking of appointments is never consistent. Routinely, the wrong therapist will walk out to greet you. In fact, I’ve had it happen when the therapist is in the back room without an appointment. While I understand that they want to balance their employees’ time, it should not be done at my expense.
