Had a great time with the family. All the workers were super knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely go again and again!

What a thrill, I have been seeing the banner on the camper parked on Bermuda and St. Rose for several weeks and finally said enough and packed up the family and went on our adventure. To sum up the experience, we cannot wait to come back! Locals with Id is $ 20 adults are allowed one child in for free under 14! Non I’d or visitors is $ 25. Make sure you stay long enough to hear one of the several territorial roars the lions do! There are no words to describe the vibration and the feeling of being surrounded by male and female lions roaring in unison. It’s so similar to being on the Savannah in Africa.
The keepers are vastly knowledgeable and my hats off to them for being patient answering the same questions probably bi-​hourly. The facility is only opened certain times but a gem of a find for all lovers of nature!

Seriously one of the best attractions in Henderson. I’ve lived in Henderson for 18 years and never knew about this ranch until recently. It is better than some of my «world famous zoo» experiences because you get to be so close to the animals. They also have a juvenile giraffe and he is awesome. They must have at least thirty lions, including six cubs. I hope someday that this ranch can expand and have better facilities. This should be advertised to incoming tourists. I saw lots of families with young kids and they all seemed to be having a good time.

Had a great visit. You really get to see lions up close. Catrina (sp?) was very friendly and gave us a photo op of a lifetime. The moderate price to get in goes a long way to help these animals– well worth it. It was the highlight of our trip to Nevada this year.

They are doing a wonderful job taking care of all the lions, a really great experience. Would definitely return.

Absolutely one of the best parts of my trip, everyone is so friendly and nice and the lions are so playful and just beastly. You want to find out why they are called the «kings of the jungle» well here is your chance. The mirage garden crap is nothing compared to this amazing experience and the money goes to a good causes as well. What’s not to like! And last but not least they have a new baby giraffe!!! This was honestly better that my entire Grand Canyon tour which costed me six times the entrance fee the habitat charges. Remember to bring your school I. D or Military I. D for discounts!

Loved it. We did a day trip with just the girls while the guys golfed. It was awesome. Be sure to speak with Cristina or any of the trainers… they love to share their personal stories. It is a Las Vegas do not miss!

We had fun! There were a ton of lions. Got to see the staff feed the lions and giraffe. It was pretty small but awesome! Check out the mirage animals too.

Decided to visit this place with my parents because why not. It’s a non profit organization that houses the retired lions from Vegas strip. It also has a giraffe, emu, ostrich, and parrots. They also take in animals from other zoos if needed. The animals are well taken of and the facilities are very clean. The volunteers and staff are friendly and there to answer any question you have. It’s worth to talk to them.
Even though the entrance price is $ 25 for adults and $ 18 for students, the money goes towards the animals so it’s worth it. Think of it like a donation.
Tip: go a little before 12:30pm for cub feeding time.

I loved this place! The enclosures were well kept and the employees and volunteers were helpful, friendly, and very informative! The lions used to belong to the MGM lions, and now it is just a sanctuary. The lions and lionesses looked well taken care of and loved by the staff. They had other animals too. A giraffes and some birds too. My favorite was the cubs! What I enjoyed was the whole family was still together! Dad, mom and cubs!!! I want to thank the staff for being so welcoming and making our tour so awesome! Definitely recommended! I hope to come back on my next trip.

Great place to bring the whole family. My kids love all the personal interaction with the lions.

It’s a great place for families located about 15 minutes south of the strip just behind M Resorts. They have a bunch of lions, birds and Ozzie the giraffe (you can feed him 3 stalks of lettuce for $ 20). The staff is very friendly and informative. They will feed the lions treats (ground horse meat) when you come by so you can get a closer look. The habitat is only open several days a week for 3 hours so plan accordingly.

These are the the MGM Hotel lions that were previously kept in the hotel in the viewing habitat. They used to transport the lions back and forth between the ranch and the hotel until it was closed. Now, the lions live out there days here.
It’s around $ 20 to get into the ranch, and opening days and hours are limited, so plan accordingly. I would suggest getting here in the morning when it’s feeding time, because that’s when the lions are the most active, especially during the summer. They tend to go into their air conditioned boxes mid-​day. Also, ask the handlers about the cub viewing time as well, you don’t want to miss that!
There are around 48 lions, plus new cubs all the time. The arrangement of the habitat allows for very close encounters with the lions. You even may get «sprayed» by a male lion, so be on the look out for lions backing up against the fence. =) The handlers are very informative, and it’s clear that they have a deep personal bond with the lions. They also do their best to get you some great photo moments. This place is still growing, so every time we’ve been, we’ve seen expansion of some sort — whether it be in the growing size the facility or in educational efforts.
These animals are well taken care of. They have many rescues from the old Vegas zoo that recently closed. I’ve heard many people complain about the habitats here, but the lions seem to be just fine. They have shelter boxes with AC, shade, plenty of food, and toys. In the fall, they encourage people to bring pumpkins, as the lions will play with them. It’s great to watch.

This place is hard to find, but once you do, it’s an amazing experience. The animals are truly loved there and Ozzie the Giraffe is SUCH a lovable guy. He gave me kisses just because.

As the name implies, this is a habitat intended mostly for the former MGM grand hotel lions. They also house other animals such as a giraffe and exotic birds.
The compound is not huge but it does allow for very close looks at lions which is what I enjoy. It been to several zoos and have never been able to get this close to a lion before. I’m talking about 3 feet or less in distance… It’s an amazing experience.
They have about 30 or so lions. At the time I went they also had 6 Cubs. The place is setup in rectangular track with the enclosures in the middle. At the entrance they have an out of commission jeep in front of a clear plexiglass which is a lion enclosure. This makes for some neat photo opportunities /​selfies. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
The Giraffe was nice to see. For $ 20 you can even feed him. They used to offer cub feedings but that no longer is available.
The price of admission is $ 21 for locals with kids free. They also have discounts for fire/​police /​military. Considering there’s no zoo in Vegas, I find the price reasonable. Also, I support their mission of supporting these animals so I don’t mind the cost.
There’s no food inside but they do sell snacks (chips, water, Gatorade).
The place is well kept. I suggest getting there earlier to see the lions in actions, as the unusually tend to sleep for most of the day.
I enjoy having this attraction in Vegas.

It’s a cute place and all, but really? When I read the word Ranch I was expecting a much bigger place.
There are a ton of lions at the «ranch». Even baby ones. And they just got a new baby giraffe. You can feed the giraffe too.
Not sure if I’ll be back.

I’m putting aside my bias towards caged animals and solely rating this place on value for the $$. It’s $ 20 per person for admission and a small «habitat» consisting of wired enclosures housing 1 – 3 lions of varying ages– roughly 20 total. You do get to see these beautiful animals up close, but it’s pretty repetitive (there’s some birds, ostriches, and a baby giraffe (super cute)) and it took maybe 20 minutes to walk through. Probably not the fairest comparison but a great art museum in LA, SF, and NYC is roughly the same $$.
Now onto the depressing part. For my husband and I it was a total bummer to see these amazing animals locked up in fenced in enclosures. Say what you may about the animals being happier, living longer, all the other bs– sorry– for us it was just sad.

I love this place. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Lions relax and lounge around their cages and seem to be enjoying the domesticated life.
Great place to take the kids. The walk around the place doesn’t take too long, even though there are a lot of Lions. I think we were there for a little over an hour or so until the youngest in our group was over it. The great thing is you can take as little or long as you like to go through it. There’s also a few random birds, one that talks (says hello), and an ostrich.
Highly recommend waiting for one of the trainers to go into one of the cages. It is cool too watch them interact. We also were pretty lucky as they had baby cubs at the time and we got to watch them eat.
Price= $ 20 for 1 adult + kid is pretty reasonable, but $ 200 for six minutes with a lion cub is outrageous. There’s also a $ 5 discount on the last Sunday of the month for locals.
I was also invited to a wine tasting event that raised money for the boys and girls club. Great venue for an event like that.
