I have been going to Marissa for about 5 years now. I am someone who likes to change their hair with the seasons. She has lightened it, darkened it, color corrected it. I’ve done all one color, highlights, color stripped my hair from black to light brown to red to blonde to ombré. And yet she still loves me haha. All joking aside. She has done quite a few things and yet I still have a full thick head of healthy hair on my head. She has done a fantastic job of keeping my hair healthy and always the way I envisioned and shiny! I recommend everyone to go see Marissa not only is she enjoyable to spend time with but she with make sure your hair looks fabulous! If your looking for a new hair color, new hair style, cut, up do, go see Marissa she will work her magic!

Went on my first ever cruise and wanted to go as a blonde — why not? But, I kept forgetting to make that one appt before the cruise and that would be with Marissa. So, I am having my hair colored by my husband the evening before I leave on a cruise. All I remember is hearing «Oh Chris it is really light» «Chris, I swear it is really, really light» I am thinking to myself «Come on, how light could it be?» I go to look and I was shocked and burst into tears. Then to top it off my 9 year daughter is crying saying «I want my Mommy back». I am done — I have decided I will cover my hair up for the trip with a hat, scarf or why don’t I just shave my head. I knew I couldn’t call Marissa at now 11:00PM to save me — so I went on the cruise — very, very blonde. I had confidence and enjoyed my trip and told the family «No comments whatsoever!». After posting pictures of a poor dye job I got lots of comments — «Go Blonde, goes with your eyes». I called Marissa immediately and she squeezed me in to fix the mess. With Marissa being a color expert — I knew I was in good hands. We really messed my hair up so Marissa is working with me to get my hair back to looking its best. With what she has accomplished and my haircuts I get from her — I have to admit — I love pretty good! Thanks Marissa for being my lifesaver!

I’m new to Nevada so I relied on Unilocal reviews to find Marissa. She made the switch to a new hairdresser quite easy & painless! She listens to her clients & did a great job on my hair, first time! Plus, she’s sweet & easy to talk to or let you quietly read silly magazines, whichever you prefer.

Marissa is great at hair (color, cut, style). I’ve been a client of hers for several years and followed her from her previous salon. She styled my daughter’s hair for her wedding as well as her bridal party and it was so beautiful! I recommend her to all my friends and family.

Marissa’s attention to detail and the fact that she truly cares about how your hair looks after it’s finished sets her apart from all the other stylists I’ve gone to. Throughout the appointment she fits and fusses over how it’s going and she’s never satisfied until the cut is absolutely perfect! Marissa is extremely personable and so easy to carry on a conversation with, it only ever feels like you’ve been there for 15 minutes before you’re all done. It’s safe to say she’ll have my business for as long as she is doing hair! Go to her and you will not regret it!

On top of that she is reasonably priced! I have been a client of Marissa’s for 3 years– even following her from her previous employer-​and I know I can count on her to make my unruly hair look fabulous. Marissa is so awesome! She has been styling my 2 daughters and me for a year and we set our appointments every 6 weeks so we always stay looking good! My daughters are 15 & 6 and Marissa is great with both of them. She is so friendly and listens to our ideas for hairstyles then makes sure we understand how a style will look on our specific hair before cutting. And if you tell her to trim she only trims! No mysterious inches missing from hair when Marissa cuts it! She is very good with color. I get highlights & lowlights and it looks natural which is how I like it. Thanks for taking such good care of us Marissa!

Marissa is an awesome hair styliest! i have been going to her for years! She listens to what i want done, «add more red this time :)» amd when i want a trim i get exactly a trim, not two inches… Give Marissa a try, you will not be let down :)

Marissa is amazing! I drive from the SW to see her. She is smart and always aware of what is going on in her industry. I am a natural red-​head and Marissa does a great job making my highlights look natural. I have tried over-​priced salons and stylists before I met Marissa. I would not go back to them!

Marissa has been taking care of me and my hair for years. I followed her when she left her previous position and am glad I did. I am always satisfied with the way she cuts and styles my hair and am never disappointed. I have a standing appointment every four weeks for cut and color and appreciate the fact that her schedule allows me to be booked way in advance. Marissa now cuts my husband’s hair. On a personal note, she is a fantastic person and a wonderful friend.
