Green Valley Barber Shop

I popped in for a freshening up of my buzz since it was growing back unevenly (for reasons including meds, quirks of the human body, and a bad starter buzz) and I’ve decided to keep it for a while.
Dave was warm and welcoming and I sat right down. You know he’s familiar, whether you have crossed paths or not. It’s immediately comforting and calming.
We talked in our brief, 15-​minute encounter of family, shared experience, and Vegas through the years.
He was personable and personal without being forced or awkward or rude in any way; he was genuinely interested in how I ended up in his chair. No, no chemo or radiation… Yet. He knows, he’s seen it.
He was gentle in touch and in words and made me laugh repeatedly. He also made me want to hug him for sharing.
I’ve never had «my own» barber. Whether I keep the buzz or not, I feel like I have one now.
A perfectly even hairline, and a warm heart. I was given both today and I’ll go back and refer him always.

Great place. I started going here 2 ½ years ago. Always a walk-​in. Only twice that I didn’t get in my first stop. Always a good cut. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my Son to Green Valley Barber shop for 4 years. We usually make an appointment the day before and can always get in. Dave always does an excellent job. My Son changes his mind on exactly how he wants his cut about every other visit. Dave always listens and cuts it just how he asks. We have tried those other «speical cuts» places… they just are not real Barbers. Great Barber, fair price & great location!

To much drama for me. My last 2 hair cuts were horrible.
Larry the owner did pass away, very sad.
Hopefully Dave will get his act together.
Franks in Boulder City would be my next choice.

Since moving to Vegas Im still looking for a barber that can cut my hair like my barber did in Scottsdale. Ive tried 5 different shops so far and still looking for that one magical barber. Perhaps I will not find him but rest assured Ill keep looking!
GVBS. Solid barber skills and extremely friendly. I think it was $ 14 for a cut.
