Dr. Ram started Family Doctors of Green Valley in June 2000. Dr. Ram had a vision of broadening his scope of quality family care by expanding services with a state-​of-​the-​art clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Ram’s best practice principles, bedside manners, caring attitude made him grow and expand with other providers to help him and his patients further. He views private practice not as a business but as a traditional family practice where the doctor knows the entire family and siblings personally and being able to provide them with the latest technology and treatments that modern medicine has to offer.

I normally don’t write post on Unilocal,But today I just had to speak out. I have been going here now for about two years. I have gotten nothing but amazing service every single time. The reason why today is a little different is, because today I was not feeling my normal happy-​go-​lucky self. Everything quickly changed when I walked in and saw Guia, Karina and Keisha’s beautiful smiling faces. They immediately brightened up my day. I will continue to come here as well as bring my family too thank you so much family Doctors of Greenvalley. Mostly thank you beautiful ladies.

Today, i had an appointment with PA Joshua Smith. My waiting time was less than five minutes. I recieved excellent service from Keisha, Cvia and Karing. Smiths examine and consultation was comprehensive and all my questions were answered. He took his time and did not conclude the examination until he was satisfied that i understood everything and all
my questioms were answered and were understood. All three of the young ladies were professional, engaging and were concerned about my well being. They are an asset to this facility. PA Smith is concerned about his patients and strives to give the best medical
service to his patients. An absolute asset to the facility and the community. I higly recommend
this facility to anyone that wants quality medical service by people who care.

I wrote a bad review here about my experience coming to this facility.
After my post, someone called me from the facility and asked me to take down my bad review post.
If you do not like bad reviews, please acknowledge every patient in the building whether it is your patient or not! Even if you share a space. Acknowledge EVERY patient/​client that comes in to the door and waiting.
The receptionist sitting in the front desk messed up big time!
I am not the only person who hates to wait for long hours. Its like you guys don’t even care if other people have other appointments or business to attend to. All of the patients in there that day, Were all pissed off! They may not say it to you, but I have been observing them and they hate waiting for that long.
If I have a great experience here. I would give you 5 stars. But I didn’t.
Hire more receptionist to make the appointments go faster and Better. Receptionist who said to sign my name. Must ask if patient have already filled out paperwork prior to seeing the doctor.
To make a facility be better, Help each other. Don’t ignore patients.
Oh and one more thing. I am not the only person here who posted a bad review there are several other people who had bad reviews. I wonder if you called them too.
Yes I was upset I waited too long but it made me furious for someone to have the nerve to call me and say to take down my post. No one has ever done that. If you would like to say something. Send me a message, Do Not Ever Call Me Again because of a post!

Bad experience.. My appointment was over a hour late. Little communication and even less caring about my time, I guess they think i should just be happy to see a doctor well at least thats how the front treated me. The extra star was because the doctor was nice but the process needs some major rethinking.

So, been going to family doctors of green valley for some time now. What I receive is a high level of customer service to which is a direct result of my doctor v having a great bedside manner. Staff is friendly, but it’s nice to have a doctor who cares. Yea sometimes you’ll wait a bit, but I feel the service is worth it.

I am new to the area and found this group on Unilocal & thought I would give it a try. What I didn’t know was:
1. The Dr. isn’t really available. You will see the physicians asst unless you specifically ask for the dr. But it is very difficult to get an appointment. I believe that the dr. isn’t there more than the minimum legally required hours if at all. My conclusion is based on the fact that I have been there 2 times and I have no reason to think there is a dr. on staff.
2. On my first visit I was set up with a nurse who comprehended a very small amount of english. Seriously how do you take a nurse seriously when you can tell they don’t have a clue what you are saying.
3. Second visit, and a different nurse was so quiet and timid I think I was his first patient. He came across as so incompetent that I asked if he was still in school to which he replied, «I’m an intern». Well cupcake you may be an intern but you’re not a legally registered nurse. Dumb as nails.
4. I think they had maybe 20 «nurses» on duty I doubt any of then were over 25. On my first visit I saw 5 nurses for a basic physical. It felt like I was visiting some sort of high school work program.
5. Needed a referral to a dermatologist since I have a history of skin cancer. PA said I didn’t need a referral because he handles biopsies all the time. PA is physicians asst which is a nurse with some advanced training & licensing. Don’t misrepresent yourself, I know nurses are capable of most procedures but shut up while you are ahead. When a patient tells you about past cancer don’t think for a second you are
6. PA told me they run specials on living social for weight loss programs. Did I ask? No!
Nurses are very young and some of them look & act like they would beat you if you questioned them, & yes a couple were quite intimidating. None of the staff appeared to have been top in there class rather they were probably hired because they came cheap, none of the 8 I saw in 2 visits exhibited much intelligence or maturity. Sorry but it is very obvious that someone is making a pretty profit but the patient isn’t getting much help.
I don’t have any reason to go back.

AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COSTS!!!
This clinic is HORRID! They made me wait for 90 minutes JUST for a follow up. The follow up was only 3 minutes!
The receptionists are extremely terrible because they didn’t consider me when I had other appointments. My follow up was only 3 minutes long! It would have made no difference if I went ahead of other people! When I asked them about my turn, the receptionists purposely picked up the phone and ignored my existence. They’re extremely rude!!!

I was referred by a friend, the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The nurses and doctors are great, especially the nurse (Daisy) they explained everything I need to do so I can improve my health.
They also accept many different types of insurances.

I love this office, everyone is so kind and caring. Dr Ram really helped with my blood pressure management. I just started weight loss program. I definitely recommend it. Jen really keeps you motivated.

I have had two visits to this clean and friendly officer. I saw Jenn Relph and she actually took the time to listen to my concerns, discussed medication options and their side effects, I couldn’t believe it! Definitely sticking with this office and their reliable staff;) Thank you!

Totally hate this place. Every time I call i’m immediately put on hold. Whenever I need to speak to anyone, it’s a voice mail. No one has ever got back to me, and trying to get a script refilled is very hard. Also making an appointment for anytime other than M-​F 8AM to 5PM is very difficult. I guess to sum it up they are not accommodating to their patients. The only reason I was going there was because Dr. Or was so great, but now that he’s left, I find it impossible to deal with. I wouldn’t suggest this doctors office to anyone.

This is terrible service. My mothers appointment was at 2PM she wasn’t seen for at least 45 minutes and that’s because we had to check in with the front desk of the doctor sharing the office with Gupta. The staff is very irresponsible and just look miserable and they aren’t very friendly or helpful. Usually as a new patient they give you paperwork before entering the actual room. The nurse had my mom filling out paperwork at the same time he was trying to take her blood pressure and everything else. The doctor himself is very kind and helpful but his office staff and nurses don’t do him any justice.

We are LONG term patients, for a few years now, and they have done nothing but get WORSE. The staff is lazy and incompetent, even if no one is in the waiting room, expect to wait at LEAST an hour. They are very greedy, they need to see you for everything before they will do anything (including renewing prescriptions) they never apologize for wait times, screwing up billing, or just plain rude nurse behavior. Only go here if they are your absolute last choice!!! Oh and if you change doctors, good luck on getting your medical records…

I have been visiting Family Doctors of Green Valley for 6 months now with phenomenal results! My PA-​C Josh Smith takes the time to explain and also answers the questions that I have.
Sometimes the people that make it all happen are never given any kudos.
Deb in Patient Services always greets you with a smile! Daisy (Medical Assistant) who takes my vitals is friendly and professional!
And all the girls in accounts receivable just as professional as well!

I wish they had 0 STARS!!!
Well, been trying to get a hold of the their weight loss physician for over almost a week and a half now. Every time I call, she’s with a client so I leave a VM and I never get a call back. The receptionists takes my phone number down and still nothing. The last time I talked to her, she said she should have an answer the next day and it’s a week and a half already with no phone calls back. This is beyond effing ridiculous. You’re office is a major joke!

Family Doctors is conveniently located on Pecos. The office is nice and the waiting room is large, although a bit overstuffed with chairs. It looks well kept, but could use a good cleaning.
I’ve been here twice. Both times I wasn’t seen until an hour after my scheduled appointment time. They take you back and stick you in a room and it takes another 30 to 40 minutes to see the doctor. An hour and 30 minutes to see the doctor? Wait?! What?! Is he an obgyn who had to run out to deliver a new life?! Um, no. The office is busy, but they are clearly double scheduling. It’s also interesting to note that they charge you for a missed appointment if you’re late. They value their time, but definitely not yours. When I asked about wait time, staff said «it’s very normal to wait an hour or so… but he is worth it.» Hmmm.
I also bought a groupon from them. Talk about Bait and Switch. The minute you get in there, they want to upsell you to the «real» program. The offer was for 4 weeks of supplements, but you really get 15 days worth and are supposed to cut them in half. Hmmm. Oh what? That’s not what you were expecting? No problem, just pay more!
The staff is nice. Dr. Ram is nice. Nice enough to wait for? Not for me. Unless you have all day to sit, or want to pay more than advertised, go else where.

I’m writing a review as I sit here in the private room waiting for my doctor. I checked in for my 3pm appt at 2:45. It is now 5 and I have yet to see a doctor for a basic physical. I had to ask after sitting in the waiting room if they had forgotten me only to be called inside and wait for another hour and counting. No apologies, no communication on status. I will never go back to this place and would have walked out if i didn’t need this done today, I’ve already wasted so much time. Seems as though having their patients wait is the norm since reception desk didn’t flinch about my concern with the wait.
If you value your time — I wouldn’t choose them. There are too many choices to be wasting your time.
I wouldn’t know how to rate the doctors since I have yet to see one.

All about the $ here pay before you see anyone. They double book for appointments so you always wait! I’m here for weight loss.
If you want to see the Dr. For something different example you hurt your neck or you found a lump on your skin you must pay for a second appt. The weight loss is a totally different area. So tuff luck not really sure if they care about your over all Heath here?
