We are a local, family-​owned and operated business dedicated to developing the whole person — mind and body — through Songahm Taekwondo. We offer several different programs for all ages, starting at 3 years old. Our students learn life skills, self-​defense, and leadership skills. Our curriculum is based on the concepts of positive mental attitude and high goal setting. Our programs provide great physical benefits, teach life skills, and are fun for the entire family. ATA is the largest martial arts association in the world. We adhere to the strict guidelines of ATA’s founder Grand Master H.U. Lee: Honor, Integrity, Discipline, and Victory.

Family ATA Martial Arts has constantly been rated among the best ATA schools in the nation. Our instructors are required to receive continual training in all aspects of Songahm Taekwondo. Our instructors are highly trained and will help your child reach his or her goals every step of the way.

History

Established in 2014.

We offer what we believe is the best martial art in the world. Taekwondo is an exciting and powerful martial art known for its dynamic kicking and hand techniques. Although these martial art techniques are centuries old, our programs are always evolving to keep pace with the rapidly changing world.

I have been honing my craft of Taekwondo for over 12 years. As a child, I was obsessed with martial arts. You could always find me at a library reading every martial arts book available. One day my best friend invited me to take a class with him at his Taekwondo studio. That was the day my Taekwondo journey began! Martial Arts has become one of the biggest passions in my life. I believe everyone should attempt to try one type of martial arts in their lifetime whether it is for technique, self-​defense, competition, self-​esteem, or self-​health. Combining my passion for martial arts and teaching, one of the greatest joys I have is to inspire others to use Taekwondo to positively impact all areas of their lives. I welcome you and your family to visit our studio and give us the privilege of making you a part of our family.

My family has been taking our boys (6 and 4) to the school for the past 3 months. What a big difference it has made already for them. They are better behaved, more confident in themselves, maintain focus to accomplish goals and always have positive attitudes. Mr. Pyne, Mr. Drachen, Ms. Esparza, Annie and all the student teachers are all well trained and are the perfect teaching combination. They are very patient during the Tiny Tiger class, firm when they have to be but never forget to make sure the students always have FUN. Family is a big focus as well which is a nice touch. A family that kicks together sticks together!

I’m Ray Rodriguez, and this place is amazing. They are fifth and sixth degree blackbelts which they are highly trained. They teach how to punch and kick but more importantly disipline, respect, and self confidence. Mr. and Mrs. Dillow and their wonderful staff crew are willing to give extra help to the kids when needed.

My six year old, first grader has been attending this Karate for Kids for four months now. He loves it. He has become more confident. While I was concerned about his behavior as one of the youngest in his class, he has excelled. At his first belt testing, where I thought it would be restless, he was spirited and the instructor asked him to be in leadership class. They had several classes focusing on stranger danger and how to handle themselves. They taught the kids the best ways to avoid being abducted. I can’t say enough nice things about Mr. and Mrs. Dillow. I think they are doing an excellent job!
