I hate to even start this off by giving this office 1 star! This office is so unprofessional and rude! Dr pack was SUPPOSEDLY to be my obgyn… I saw him one time threw out my whole pregnancy! Seems that I was tossed around like a rag doll between the other Drs in the office. This was my first pregnancy. Non of the Drs in his office ever took the time to get to know you on a patients level they just rushed you in and out! Towards the end of my pregnancy I had preeclampsia which I learned online due to the fact they kept ignoring my symptoms! My feet and legs swill up huge I’m regular 115 I was at 200lbs! That’s insane! They made me go 2 weeks past my due date after being so miserable finding out my sons heart beat wasn’t rite (threw another dr)
So they had me induce the nurses at the hospital did all the work I was sure they were going to deliver my baby cause dr pack was no where to be found or heard from! So then 48hours of labor they sent in a dr «from his office» who I’ve never met! Come in say ya okay c section without doing anything!!! That was it my son came out very very sick in NICU for 3 weeks of his life! Due to dr packs poor prenatal care for his patients.
Never heard from his office until 3 ½ years later a bill of $ 89.00 which HE should have sent three my insurance! The only way I found out about the bill is he sent me to collections!
All and all such an unprofessional DR!

The absolute BEST! Not sure why all the good reviews are in the «Not recommended» section? Dr. Pack is amazing! He has been my Dr. for about 5 years now. I’ve had tons of girlie issues and a few surgeries and Dr. Pack is #1. Straight to the point kind of guy. Quick exams… doesn’t BS you and is extremely honest. Who wouldn’t want that? Thanks to him and his staff I am healthy and cancer cell free!

This is a very short version of my son & my story.
Let me start off by saying I was 36 weeks pregnant.
May 13^th 10am: My husband and I had an appointment to get an ultra sound just to see how big our son was. After the ultra sound we were scheduled at 11am to meet with
Dr. Pack for my weekly check and so we could get the results of the ultra sound. When we arrived at the office at 9:45am we were greeted by Dr. Pack’s nurse, she stated that because Dr. Pack had no patients at the moment they were going to bring me back before my ultra sound so they could get me in. I said that was fine but the whole point of having the appointment schedule for after the ultra sound was to be able to go over the ultra sound results. She said she couldn’t guarantee that he would be able to see me after the ultra sound even though my appointment was schedule for after the ultra sound.
While she was taking my vitals she had asked if I was experiencing anything new I wanted to discuss with the doctor.
I had stated that the last couple of days I had noticed that I wasn’t feeling my son Lennon move around as much. She responded with ok and continued typing in her laptop. Once we were moved into a room Dr. Pack came in within minutes. As soon as he came in he asked how I was doing? I stated the same thing to him that I had been noticing that Lennon wasn’t moving as much as normal. (Lennon had been a huge mover through out my pregnancy up until then)
Dr. Pack proceeded to listen to his heartbeat for a quick 10 seconds and said he sounds good. Then said, «Well that’s normal, he’s probably just moving into your birth canal.» And that was that, didn’t ask any further questions about our concern.
After the first meeting with him we were greeted by the ultra sound technician. While walking us back to her room she asked how we were doing and how the baby was? I had stated that I was doing pretty good that I was tired from having such a busy weekend and I shared with her the same concern that I hadn’t been feeling Lennon move around as much. Her reply to this was that «He’s probably just tired from your busy weekend.»
During the ultra sound I asked if Lennon and everything looked ok? She said yes everything looked good and said my placenta-​looked good. After the ultra sound she said let me get you put in a room so you can meet with Dr. Pack again. While walking to a room Dr. Pack saw us in the hallway and stopped to look at the ultra sound report in the hallway. He glanced at it and said «everything looks normal we will see you next week for your next appointment.»
My husband and I thought all right well everything must be all right then, they would know they are the professionals.
Later that day I was in full blown labor. Went to St Rose San Martin and had to have an emergency c section due to my son not being responsive. Our son had lost a lot of blood and was severely anemic. He had to have 3 blood transfusions. Stayed in the NICU for two weeks. Turned out my son had been losing blood inside of me and I was stealing his blood. I had a hole in my umbilical cord, my placenta was huge and I had a lot of extra fluid. Not only was I lucky to be alive but my son as well.
We had found out that Lennon had been bleeding out inside of me. I was basically stealing his blood that he was losing. After doing pathology on my stuff turns out I had a hole in my umbilical cord, my placenta was huge and I had a lot of fluid. So we were beyond lucky that Lennon is in our lives, because of how much blood he had lost he could’ve died. We were told that Lennon had possibly been losing blood for at least a week with how anemic he was.
My husband and I were very upset with Dr. Pack’s decision to not do a stress test in office or to send us to the hospital just to yield on the side of caution. I could’ve not only lost my life BUT also my sons life. The horrible thing is I had never been pregnant so I was unsure what was right or wrong feeling. Now my biggest tip is if you ever question anything during your pregnancy GO TO THE HOSPITAL.
I would never recommend Dr. Pack as a doctor. He made a horrible decision that day. A decision not to be cautious and take what we were telling him seriously. Today I am happy to say our son is wonderful. He’s a month old, has no issues from how he came into the world and is just the biggest blessing ever. I hope this review helps whoever reads our story.

Dr. Pack mis diagnosed me with a blighted ovum and told me frankly that I never developed a fetus. He admitted he was not a very good ultrasound tech and he was right. He also said I had a «weird shaped uterus» the more common term would be a «tipped uterus» but why should I expect polite and correct terms? He should had thus informed me then with all this info that many doctors can’t see a first trimester baby in a uterus with ultrasound on women with tipped uteruses until later in the pregnancy. I became distressed and depressed not understanding how my symptoms could be so severe and I resolved myself after a day of crying and missing work (which I have NEVER done) that he was wrong and I could feel my baby. Long story short I was 8 weeks pregnant with a fetus in the corner of my uterus and he/​she would have been born in October. Please always get a second opinion ladies and spare yourself the heart break, I will always get a highly recommended ultra sound tech… oh and the nurse left me a VOICE MESSAGE telling me I am having a MISCARRIAGE!!! How mortifying and unprofessional and they were wrong! No one even told me why I kept having to go back for blood tests, I found out myself on line! Not the best experience of my life!

Done. Just done.

Dr. Pack is an awesome Doctor, however BEWARE OF THE OFFICE STAFF!!! My problem with them began when they were demanding $ 1500 out of pocket delivery fee as they said my insurance deductible hadn’t been met. This was in December, I was due until late March. When I had only paid ½ of it by January as I wanted to see if my deductible had been fulfilled, at 7 months pregnant I was threatened by Alecia that I would be dropped by the practice and would need to find another Dr. After completely stressing me out, the office manager agreed to keep me but I had to pay the rest of my fee. Fine. After I delivered my insurance informed me that my deductible had been met in late February and that my Dr. Office owed me the entire delivery fee. My insurance sent a request for additional information before paying then thus allowing me to be reimbursed. When I asked the receptionist was rude and claimed they never received a request. My insurance re sent another request and here I sit 7 weeks after delivery with no reimbursement. In addition to that, when my short term disability company requested information to process my claim to pay me they delayed that as well. Horrible office staff!!!

I’m shocked at the ONE review that seems to be the only one showing! I was hesitant at first to see him as a Dr… I’ve always had females and the one I was seeing in his office retired! Instead of waiting 3 months for an appt I took the first one avail, which was w/​Dr Pack. Fastest exam I’ve ever had! He has always been nice, fun to chat with, remembers who I am even months later! I would never consider switching as long as I am still in the area!

You might find it strange for a man to write a review for an OB/​GYN since men will never know what a patient doctor relationship feels like in this setting. I can tell you how I felt since I have pretty much attended 95% of my wife’s OB appointments over the last 12 years. My wife had an extensive history of miscarriages over that period, 6 in all. I always felt that I needed to be there with her because of the unknown outcome of an ultrasound. After our 2^nd daughter was born we agreed that it would be best for a tubular ligation. Dr. Pack informed us that there are new meds available that would not complicate a new pregnancy for my wife. We took his advice and went for it. We contacted a different doctor and started treatments. My wife ended up getting pregnant with triplets. Dr. Pack was the most reassuring, honest and forthcoming doctor I have ever met. Our boys were born at 34 weeks and Dr. Pack delivered without a hitch. I do not think this would have been possible with anyone else. I found Dr. Pack to be one of the smartest and kindest people that I have ever met. Please dont remove my review again.

**********WORST OBGYN***********
It seems that the doctors in this office only provides you the treatment you deserved based on your professional background. As a first time patient I only put «house”-wife because I do that for privacy purposes.
They set an appointment for me with Dr. Andrew Pack (Turner/​Miller @ Horizon Ridge location), and I have to say my first time experience with him was not only traumatic but EXTREMELY very unprofessional and broke the doctor to patient service code.
1. He judged me on my past medical history that was out of my control
2. He made me feel like a witness on the stand in the courtroom. He was the prosecutor and I of course was the witness
3. He yelled at me over and over because I couldn’t give him the answers he wanted to hear. Granted, telling him information that was given to me from previous doctors (Of course I have no other choice but to be honest, because Im going to him for care and help because isn’t that what doctors do? and what we PAY them for ?)
4. Told me he had a HIGHER IQ than me — after I answered the same question that was asked 5 min earlier, just because I had politely asked him «I thought I just answered your question.» He didn’t take my question very lightly he took it very personal and looked at me as if I was so stupid.
5. Made me cry when he knew how excited I was to know that this is the first time I was able to carry a baby 4 months in, when doctors in the past told me that I would have a problem getting pregnant.
6.He never apologized, only told me that he doesn’t feel we should further, and I am better off going with another obgyn.
Because of this… not only am I writing to the Nevada Medical Board, I am also writing to the Las Vegas Review Journal and Weekly, and little does that doctor know that my husband and I own one of the largest lawyer referral corporation in California, we also have 8 offices that specializes in work comp and P.I. cases, not including the surgery centers that we run with orthopaedic surgeons, and my marketing, billing and collections company.
I am so glad he never knew what I really did because maybe I would never see his true colors. BTW — i only gave 1 star for the appearance of the office because the office is nice. May I also add, that the hispanic lady who works in the front office who told me that the office manager was not available and was at another office taking care of urgent issue, needs to understand that all doctors offices must always have a office manager available and on site, I know this because I have 8 that work for my husband and I.

Dr. Pack has been my doctor for over 10 years. He delivered both of my kids, and remains my primary «Girly» doctor to this day. I was in to see him today in fact.
Dr. Pack has a great bedside manner– he has never made me uncomfortable. He always remembers me, and my family regardless of how long it has been since I was in– sometimes, I am a bit of a slacker.
I waited for MAYBE 5 minutes in the waiting room before being seen today, and he was into the exam room in less than 2 minutes.
He just moved into this office. It’s classy and modern, and in a MUCH better part of town than his last office.
If you decide to see Dr. Pack– you wont be sorry. He is a great doctor.
