Dr. Gates and staff are so friendly and go over everything with you. The hygienist is wonderful and she really is very gentle! This is a state of the art office and I would highly recommend them.

My son and I relocated to Henderson over a year ago and had been returning to our dentist in Arizona for cleanings, etc. because we love our dentist there. However, it began to be too difficult so I started looking for a local dentist and was so lucky to find Dr. Gates.
I absolutely love his staff. They are so professional, helpful, and friendly. And Dr. Gates is up to date on all the latest treatments and procedures. I couldn’t ask for better.

The only dentist I trust! He and his staff are very professional, honest, and they really care about your teeth. He also gives painless numbing shots!

Fantastic Dentist! I am a dentist, so when I broke my tooth I was very picky about who I would let work in my mouth. Instead of working on myself, I wisely chose Dr. Gates. Dr. Gates expertly numbed and completed a natural looking restoration without hurting me. He is a recognized and respected leader in dentistry and a nice humble person as well.

Highly recommend! A coworker of mine recommended Dr. Gates and that is how I discovered him. I’ve been going to Dr. Gates for 2.5 years now. He’s a great dentist — technically very skilled and a friendly person overall. Always up on the latest industry techniques. The hygienist is gentle but thorough which i love.
My first visit was just a cleaning and my annual xrays. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in 2 years, so after my xrays, i was told i had 3 cavities that needed fillings and also needed to get a crown. I had to come back for another visit to get the fillings and a crown. Overall it took about 2 hours. What I love is their use of technology in the office. Everyone has an ear piece and can communicate to one another easily. Dr. Gates has a mini camera that he puts in your mouth and you can see what he’s talking about on the monitor. Dr. Gates really takes the time to explain each procedure, and the hygienists do a good job in going over preventative care.
The office is closed on Friday, but about a year ago I had a dental emergency on Friday. I called Dr. Gates on his personal cell, and he came in an hour later to help fix my issue. That really stood out to me because it showed that Dr. Gates really puts his patients first.
The office is small — 1 dentist, 2 hygienists, 2 – 3 dental assistants, 2 office staff. But I can usually get an appointment easily. Everyone in the office, from the front desk to the hygienist are all really nice and seem to genuinely enjoy working there, which makes for a pleasant dentist experience. They have a great collection of magazines in the waiting room, plus mini-​water bottles which is a nice bonus!
Only con is it’s a little pricey and my insurance doesn’t cover everything. But the extra $$ is worth the personalized and high quality service.

Wow, Dr. Gates and his staff are by far the best I have ever experienced. The office is immaculate, the staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what they are doing. Kim, the office manager, is very thorough in presenting the cost in black and white before a procedure is done. Dr. Gates will take the time to discuss your options and answer your questions always with a smile. A top notch practice!

Best dentist I’ve had in decades! No pressure for work I don’t need. Dr. Gates seems like a genuinely pleasant guy. He also explains everything in detail for me. I have TMJ problems, and he’s the first dentist I’ve ever had that anticipates my jaw pain and let’s me rest even before it kicks in. My hygienist, Kathy, was amazing but she moved away. My new hygienist, Rita, is also fantastic. I can’t recommend Dr. Gates office enough.

Originally found these guys on the Groupon. Beautiful office, high-​tech equipment, friendly customer service, knowledgeable and helpful staff. By leaps and bounds the most gentle, compassionate, and comfortable experience I’ve ever had. How many people can actually say they look forward to going to the dentist? Now I can! I’ve got commitment/​trust issues with most doctors in general, but I’ve already scheduled my next bi-​annual teeth cleaning with confidence. I can already tell I’ll be a lifetime patient of theirs. Will highly recommend to others!

If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Gates. His entire staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Gates sincerely wants you to have a great smile and listens. I moved to LV area 4 years ago and saw another dentist who was OK but her office staff was indifferent and they didn’t seem to care about my business. The complete opposite at Dr. Gates office they understand who their customers are. Bravo Dr. Gates and staff.

I’ve gone through several dentists and living in vegas for 15+ yrs, Dr. Gates is probably my top pick! His staff was friendly from the front desk to the lady that schedules/​handles billing. The hygienist, Kelly, was very gentle, sweet and took her time with my teeth cleaning. She was very thorough & I noticed that my cleanings took longer than usual (not in a bad way! lol). I can honestly say, she was the best hygienist i’ve ever had too!
Dr. Gates was very friendly! He has a TV monitor that showed my digital xrays and we went through every slide one by one. He actually found 2 decaying teeth (yikes!!!). None of my previous dentists have ever explored any of the abnormalities with my teeth… they usually tell me there’s no problem and my teeth are in great shape. Dr. Gates explained to me that the small gap that i had in my back teeth was caused by the previous work of my dentists! They didnt do my filling right & was in fact made too small! Grrr! And here i was thinking it was due to my wisdom teeth extractions! That small gap allowed many food particles to get wedged up there and causing some decay… glad he caught it early before i would have gotten a root canal!!! He had a camera that he placed in my mouth and we both explored each tooth and he showed me any abnormalities through the tv screen. He also had a device that could tell the degree of decay!!! His office is well equipped :)
I would totally recommend him for a thorough check up! I can tell he is a perfectionist and he has an eye for detail. He gets his patients involved with their oral care. Usually, when i went to dentists, they are blunt with what they find and i get handed a fat bill of what needed to be worked on. Dr. Gates will show you EXACTLY what he is charging you through the whole oral process so there are no surprises! His office is located on Eastern and Coronado, by MJ Christiansen jewelers. You gotta take the elevator to the 2^nd floor.
