History

Established in 2007.

Started as an expansion to American Auto Body in 2007 because there was a need in Henderson for a solid body shop who can handle the demands on insurance claims processing. Our clients love us and insurance companies love us because we perform complete, correct, and safe repairs with our ever expanding knowledge and education on the latest technologies used for making and repairing vehicles.

We are a partner with two established shops in town, and we know with the experience we have we’re able to service our clients better than the typical independent collision repair shop. Our experience tells us that our customers not only want a correct and safe repair (shouldn’t that be a given?), but they also want to feel like they’re appreciated and served well, and we’re able to provide that better than dealerships and other independents.

James is an entrepreneur interested in making positive changes in any industry he’s able to be a part of. For the collision repair industry, that’s displayed in his community work with I-​CAR where he spends a lot of time managing the continuing education of collision repair facilities in Las Vegas and surrounding areas (Automall Autobody’s training center hosts various body shops in and out of state for their training needs). He uses his education background (MBA) to better his businesses, and takes an active role in managing the customer experience. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They do not stand behind their work. They put the wrong parts on and then tried to force the rest of the car to fit around it. Very Unprofessional. Very POOR service. They had my car for over two weeks and I had gone back two times and they still did not repair it correctly.

Brought my Acura here for some work on the grill and emblem-​y area of the front of the car (got into a small fender bender where the bumper did not get damaged, strangely enough).
This place provides great service. For example, I emailed a few business with pictures of the damage and asked for estimates. Doug, the service rep there, asked for more pictures so that he could make a more accurate estimate. None of the other companies I contacted even brought up the potential for additional damage my pictures may not have shown. If someone is going to make sure they get an estimate over email correct, and the estimate is already lower than their competitors, it was a no brainer in terms of which company to choose.
The process itself was easy, though letting go of all that cash to pay for it was not. Doug was great, very polite and knowledgeable, & kept me up to date about the car’s progress. He also gave me a great discount!
Anyways, I hope I never have to get anymore work done on my car, but if I do, I’ll be heading back here.

Was in an out of state fender bender and these guys took good care of fixing the car. Even though I paid a little more to have the color blended in, it’s worth it cause I don’t want my car to look like it has an ombré .Even though the fender was slightly unaligned, I asked nicely and Doug had his guy Dave straighten things out. So thanks to the both of you and Dave thanks for the ride home.

I brought my car here after an accident. My insurance recommended them. From the first phone call to picking my car up the service was exceptional. They sent text updates and also called me. When we came to pick car up there were a couple of things to fix Doug came out and said no problem and took car back and had to us in about 15 minutes. Great service. My car looks new again

Believe it or not my husband’s boss hit our Camry in the employee parking lot. Her insurance recommended this place for repairs so we thought we’d try it and boy am I happy we did. We needed repairs on the driver’s side front bumper, front lamps and the fender. They also had to match the paint and our car is a bit older so I’m sure that had to be a challenge. They quoted 5 days for the repairs and to our surprise they were done in 2 and our car looks great! Customer service was fabulous and they kept us informed with text messages all along the way. Joanna and Doug, you guys rock! I would highly recommend you bring your car here.

Driver side repairs for door skin replacement, door alignment, mirror replacement

— Front bumper is scratched
— Service time was quoted 9 days but it took almost 30 days. When I called in or walked in on several occasions, they couldn’t tell me an estimated date of completion. I was always given an excuse — «days about to end, I can’t talk to the tech, he’s busy» or «I’m not sure, I’ll keep you updated». They called to update me once.
— often try to change the subject of conversation
for instance, when I asked to inspect my car in the sunlight, they moved my car for me into the sun. However before I can take a look, my car was driven away to get a «car wash». Didn’t come back with a car wash, the «back was busy»
— A panel located on the roof of my was not properly installed upon pick up. It looked broken. When it was brought up, the immediate response was «it wasn’t already like that?» Ummm… no, nor was the scratch on my front bumper. The panel was glued on. I didn’t want to bring up the scratch on my bumper.
— interior of my car was dirty with grease marks. My seats must not have been bagged when they sat in or worked on my car
— the rubber strip adjacent to my windows were stripped… before I mentioned anything, they claimed «these were old». I looked at the other side of the car where work wasn’t done, they weren’t torn up like on the driver side.
Overall, yes they got the job done, however not in a timely manner as promised. The paint job was good, but the quality of work isn’t impressive.
My friend was waiting to see my car before he brought it in for repair. Unfortunately I don’t have the confidence to tell him that he will be satisfied with the work

My experience was less than seamless and yet, given the intense competition in this business, I feel it should have been. Communication was spotty while the work was being done. I was promised regular phone updates, which I sometimes got, but mostly I had to call and check on the progress. And when I did call, the response was always inexact: «probably» the car will be finished by such and such a time «if all goes well,» etc. Those kinds of updates aren’t really helpful. It’s like when they tell you the «doctor will be in shortly,» and you know that’s a meaningless statement. You’d rather they just said the truth: «It’s going to be 30 minutes – get comfortable and get over it.» Further, the story of why the repair was taking longer changed from day to day. It was just unprofessional. A customer wants to feel appreciated, wants to feel secure about the competency of the people he’s dealing with, and wants to feel as though the interaction was effortless. I felt none of those things. Adding insult to injury, the work was not completed properly. I had to point out a few missing details when the car was delivered – a misfitting panel, a misaligned headlight, etc. – and deal with a front office team, including the estimator, whose attitude was a bit of friendliness covering what I perceived as pure indifference. Yes, they took care of the shortcomings and did it very quickly, but I felt inconvenienced and annoyed that details weren’t being carefully regarded. What does that lack of professionalism and lack of attention to detail say about the rest of the work that I couldn’t see or lacked the expertise to know about?

I got in a fender bender at the wrong time! I had family coming to town and needed my car to be done ASAP. I took it in on a Tuesday and by Friday it was done. The staff was professional and timely. They did quality work while being on time. I would HIGHLY recommend to everyone.

When I got rear ended, this was the auto shop my insurance company sent my car to. From the beginning, everyone was very professional and I got constant emails with updates of the progress of my repairs. My bumper was fixed in a very reasonable amount of time and they did a great job. I was also told that the work done has a lifetime guarantee so if anything goes wrong with it in the future I can bring it back and they will fix it for free.
The only criticism I have is that this is the first auto shop I’ve been to that doesn’t have any weekend hours. I had to rearrange my work schedule so that I could pick up my car before they closed for the weekend. However, one of their employees stayed late past their closing time on a Friday to accommodate my schedule so I did appreciate that.

Outstanding service from the time I walked in the door until the time I picked up my car. Obviously no one wants to spend time in a body repair shop, no more than a person wants to go to the doctor because you want to go there to hang out. You go to the auto body shop because you generally have had a misfortune by your own doing or someone else’s. You’re already not in a good mood, or at least your best mood; there’s a price you’re going to pay. Automall Autobody did a wonderful job in managing the mood, offering me water on a hot day, quickly getting to the bottom line, and coming up with a fair estimate. The job was done right, and quicker than the estimated time suggested. This was as good as it gets in having an experience at an auto body shop.

Great office staff, easy process in getting my estimate. The repair job was excellent I could not tell the vehicle ever suffered damage. Staff also provided me with touch up paint to use as needed. I highly recommend Auto Mall Auto-​Body for your vehicle body repairs. Lastly, great music & beverages in the writing room.

So I found myself in a bit of a bad situation that I will not go into on here but you can read a review I did on Instant Mexican Insurance services in San Ysidro CA if you are interested.
Anyway, I got several estimates from companies in Henderson where I live. And after reading all the reviews about Automall Autobody I decided to see if I could talk to them about the unique situation I was in.
The estimator gave me a quote and I explained to him that I have to pay cash for the repair of my vehicle approx $ 9000. After I received the estimate (which was higher than any of the 4 other estimates I got) I asked to possibly speak to someone else maybe a manager about the price. Auto body repair facilities usually give discounts to insurance companies and I really wanted to use them because of all the good reviews on Unilocal as I have become an avid Unilocaler.
Tim Moore who gave me the estimate said he would speak to his boss and they would get back to me in a week maybe even 2 as his boss is really busy. I said no problem as I know beggars can not be choosers.
It’s been over a month now with no response from Tim or his boss. I’m not asking for anything free. And they could of even said we have a Unilocal coupon that will take 15% off and I would of been happy!
After being beat up by auto insurance companies, dealing with the we only want insurance money out of auto body shops, and if you were not injured we can not help you attitude of lawyers, I can say this beggar will take his $ 9000 somewhere else.
