Adams Driveshaft

These guys are so great at what they do. They pretty much saved my tj from shaking parts off lol, with the vibration I had on it. Their SYE kits are the best I’ve seen. Bomb proof driveshafts and great customer service and they really stand behind their products too. Customer service like this is becoming a rare thing these days, that’s why I wanted to share this review. Keep up the great work!

The customer service and quality of work is so good that I was compelled to write a review about this shop, which I never do. I have used them three times now and I’m 100% satisfied with there work. I normally hate bring my vehicles to anyone and try to do most things myself but I find myself looking forward to using this shop and saying hello to them. I can’t say enough.

Back at Adam’s for the other CV Shaft. These guys are incredible. Knowledgeable and professional and explain everything to a level you understand. Competitively priced and outstanding work. Will continue using them for my driveline needs and highly recommend them.

I don’t own a Jeep. But recently a friend of mine who lives overseas wanted me to send him a lift kit that he had ordered from this business. I then called to check on my friend’s order (which was coming to my address in FL) to learn about shipping details; James the owner wanted to confirm the Jeep JK specs to make sure the suspension parts would work. As it turned out, since my buddy’s Jeep has a diesel engine, which greatly adds to the lifting/​weight requirements, it would not work or fit in this application. James was extremely helpful and took the extra step to confirm with the aftermarket parts company to eliminate any disappointments or aggravation; despite losing a sale. What great customer service! They are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the market they serve.

I used Adams extensively when I owned my 93 GT. They were always friendly and helpful. Always called and asked me before proceeding and even showed me concerns. I had them Build me a custom Aluminum driveshaft, they replaced the entire rear suspension from stock to Hotchkis and I was ablate bring in the parts. They Upgraded all my bushings and replaced my rear gears 3 times as i am anal. from 2.73 to 3.73 then to 3.55 which was the best of both worlds. They were always reasonable and I had zero complaints over the 3 years I worked with them.
If i should need anything for may newer vehicles I will be giving them a call.

What a pro! I wasn’t certain about the lift I was looking for, thankfully I found a pro with the experience I could leverage! I called james and he was very accommodating! No sales pressure, just good information to facilitate the decision that was right for me! Couldn’t be happies with the price and service I receiced. I’ll see james and the guys for all of my TJ Wrangler needs!

Came here to purchase a slip yoke eliminator and driveshaft during their Christmas sale I saw on craigslist. Came in and the staff were very friendly and patient to answer all my questions. So I took my kit home and attempted the install on my own in my garage. I ended up running into a couple of issues so I gave them a call. The staff again were very patient and even helped me trouble shoot my issue! Install was done and I’ve since wheeled my jeep up and down the trails such as potato ridge and Nelson’s without any problems. Drive shaft has held up just fine!!! I give James and his shop five stars for excellent service. I’ll have to purchase my front driveshaft from them in the near future. My only gripe is that I didn’t get a sticker to slap on my jeep, but they did give me a free shirt!!!

First a bit of background on my issue. I have an ’83 Ford F350 dually pickup with the two piece driveshaft. My truck was vibrating BADLY starting around 25 mph and felt like it was going to shake itself to pieces. I pulled the drive shaft to replace a bad center carrier bearing and discovered the slip yoke was twisted and cracked. Bad news. I took the drive shaft down to Adams and spoke with John who explained to me what needed to be done (slip yoke replacement) and what additional work I wanted (new u-​joints and balance). I dropped the drive shaft off on Monday and was promised the work would be completed by Wednesday afternoon. Not only did they deliver on time but John also identified another issue that I had forgotten to ask about (bad u-​joint yoke at pinion end) and got that fixed also. It wasn’t cheap but my truck now drives very smoothly like it should with no driveline vibration. I recommend these guys, two thumbs up.

Excellent customer service, Superior craftsmanship, Fast, friendly, on time, quality work! I would highly recommended this place for all gear work. They had me in and out with out a hitch. AND they saved me a few bucks.

I’ve had work done on my Jeep at Adams Driveshaft & Off-​road for years and their service has always been top notch. These are great people who stand behind their work 100%. I recommend everyone to Adams. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I tend to bend and break my rock crawler in the tough stuff. What I cannot fix myself almost always goes to Adams.

Adam’s drive shaft is the absolute best… James is a great guy and their product is superior… cannot find a better drive shaft or axles anywhere in the country

My wallet and James are great friends. A Jeep is like a boat, get into it and you start upgrading and maintaining. I have never been happier for my wallet than when it met James Adams. He, and his entire staff and wonderful sister, Cindy, know off roading. I describe what I want, they research, offer alternatives, and then order and install things right… and safe.
Adam’s Driveshaft has an awesome reputation in the off road community for good reason. The team is smart, accurate, extremely detail oriented, the final result always outstanding and they work for the customer to obtain the desired results.
I have spent many, many thousands of dollars at Adams Driveshaft, every dollar was worth it. My Jeep JK is an amazing off road AND on road machine, done to my vision, but with the experience and craftsmanship of Adams to professionally realign my vision to obtain the optimum results.
James told me a while ago that his reputation and integrity mean everything to him. Well, sir, in my opinion your reputation is outstanding and you have demonstrated through your actions on my behalf that you have integrity to spare.

These guys are great. I bought a sye and drive shaft for my jeep tj, and had part of the drive shaft break because some bolts started backing out at the yolk, they replaced the parts for me right away. It’s great to find a shop that still stands behind there product, most drive line places would tell you they don’t cover that, only the tube and welds. I couldn’t be happier with the product or service. Thank you James for taking care of your customers

James is a nice guy or a good schmooz, not quite sure, but work is sub par and will need to be fixed. He seems to also have a bad memory as what was promised vs what was done. Most of his mechanics are inexperienced kids that know basics but… I have bought two drive shafts from him, one broke, he wanted to charge to have replaced. The bad part of that is he is really the only driveshaft game in town. Nice guy, sub par work. Better bet is 4wheel parts, they stand up to their work, a tad more expensive but far more diligence and much better mechanics and stand by their work.

I was referred to Adams by my mechanic at Autocall. After and accident where a Uhaul drove through my carport at my apartment. I had a noise coming from the back of my vehicle that was not there before. The Carport had landed on top of my vehicle and was on it for many hours. When I drove it, I immediately heard noise. I pay attention and had my truck serviced and many things done to it to make sure it was running good. I didn’t know what the noise was, I just knew it wasn’t there before. I took it to Adams and they drove it and told me what they thought may be problem. They had no way to know exactly until it was pulled apart. I needed something as far as estimate to give to Insurance. Cindy was a sweetheart! She gave me a quote and was very helpful. Even though I knew once they opened it up, they could find more damage, I couldn’t afford to pay to have that done nor did I feel I should have to. Cindy gave me an Estimate as kind of a worst case scenario so I had some idea and something to give to Uhaul if they cooperate. Looks like I am screwed but I am so glad I found Adams Driveshaft and would recommend them to anyone that may need this type of service or repair done on Vehicle. Depending on what happens with my vehicle, I will be back if I keep the vehicle to have it fixed. It’s nice when you find honest Auto repair places and this is one of them! Thanks for all your help!
