I’m so impressed with this place. Kenny was extremely helpful and watched him with multiple customers. Steven worked on my van right away and I was out of there so quickly, after having my EGR valve replaced. Would defiantly go back here.

Brought my ’73 in because my transmission either wasn’t going through the gears to get into drive (missing 1^st and 2^nd completely upon acceleration from a light) or it was stuck in 1^st. Kenny got me in quick, and took care of the problem fast. Much cheaper than I was expecting as well, car has been tip top since. It’s tough finding places that will work on older vehicles, but Aamco took me in without hesitation and did the job right. Thanks Aamco!

This place sucks they don’t know anything I took my car there asking them to check my transmission and everything else why my check light on? I have my check engine light on for 3 reasons (1) code u 1000… u1001 … P0442… why am I losing power They don’t know… they depend on the computer there the ones specialists in transmission but they told me there’s nothing wrong with it everything look ok… They can’t find anything wrong but… They told me that my car is taking is to much air in the intake so if I want they will charge me $ 80 to clean it out my intake and stuff and my filter that’s is over charge my boot is alittle rip I could of clean it at home myself lol… But I want to see n try ??? I agreed n let them clean it after that they clean it it was the same thing the computer read the same I payed them $ 91 but the n i ask him everything ok ?? His sad it’s a little better I can feel a little more power? That’s not the answer I was expecting ether it’s good or not good? but his say it a little better ??? Ok so I ask them is my check light still on and he said ooh… Yeah they turn it off so I said ok then i left n I say thank you I when out to the car and started it the engine light was still on??? What The the hell so I left when I got home I lifted up my hood just to check there so an idiot there missing couple of the plastic clips to hold down the intake. System there the one last toughed it and it missing couple of plastic clips man I was mad lucky I had extra clip to put to holed it down my intake system just the little things they can’t even do right I’m so mad ill never go to them again… period.

I took my car in they fixed it the same day. Prices wouldn’t good not expansive. The manger Kenny helped with everything didn’t stress one bit. Highly recommended.

I had a very last minute need for service just before a road trip to California. I was able to come in just an hour after I called, and the problem was quickly diagnosed with the same kind of care I would get from my dad. Two techs took the time to check, double check and trouble-​shoot what turned out to be a brake problem. I only waited for a short time and everyone was very kind as well as thorough!

My alternator broke in my car about 3 years ago at that time they worked with me on a payment arrangement and fixed my car. Today I was having a HORRIBLE time at another shop and that shop was trying to charge me to fix a bunch of stuff in my car that probably wasn’t even broken. When they told me my alternator was broken again I called AAMCO and spoke to them about my warranty they told me to bring my car in and they would let me know if it really was the alternator and if it was they would fix it free of charge. Sure enough it hat was the problem. They fixed my car very quickly and all free! The waived the labor charge which was so great since I had just throw out a bunch of money to the other shop charging me so stuff that wasn’t even needing to be fixed! They service is great and the staff is so kind and helpful. I will be bringing my car here for everything from now on!

Brought our car in because it was slipping gears. Paid through the nose for a new torque convertor. Took longer than we expected and when we got the car back, it was making a strange clicking noise that it hadn’t made prior to the repair. We took the car back, left it for another two days and they couldn’t figure out where the noise was coming from. They said they could change the transfer case for an additional $ 900 which may solve the problem. We decided not to leave it there and instead, my husband diagnosed the noise himself. It was the speedometer cable rattling around. My husband also noticed that the transmission was leaking fluid and it turns out that when they put the drip pan back on, they didn’t tighten everything down. We would not recommend this Aamco and will not return there.

DO NOT GO HERE! The only reason l am even giving this establishment 1 star is because their customer service is good. Stan and his wife as well as other staff are really nice but that’s about as far as it goes. l took my car in because it was idling rough, no error codes were coming up but after a visual inspection they suggested l change 2 axels and transmission clips, l knew one axel was bad but the other was only the boot (dealership told me a week or so before) l told Stan only the boot was bad and have me a $ 50 discount for that side (l should’ve run then) l just wanted my damn car fixed so l agreed on $ 750 for the work. Work was done in a few hours, and as l was picking up my car there was a lady in the lobby who was CRYING telling me she had been back to them numerous occasions and each visit was more and more money (alluding that they were either intentionally causing more problems or didn’t know what the hell they were doing) she said she came in for minor issues and ended up having to take out a loan for like 3k to fix everything that kept going wrong. She told me to never come back if l had a problem, WELL the next day as l was driving to work every light on my dash lit up and smelled like fire. l was on flamingo and LV blvd NOT where you need to break down but fortunately l made it to work. Called Stan, his wife answered and told me to bring it back in. l decided against that, took it to my dad’s mechanic and he figured out it was the spark plugs and head gasket, if Aamco would’ve taken a look under the hood and seen the plugs and coolant and oil he probably would’ve figured that out. Basically l wasted nearly $ 800 because of these idiots, funny thing is they had some type of plaque from Aamco for great customer relations LOL
l don’t know if that was years ago or something but based on the Unilocal reviews and the lady who was crying in the lobby their customer relations may have gone downhill

Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to keep returning your car over and over. The professionalism of this place is terrible. My sister and I share a vehicle and we brought it here for a minor repair. This minor repair turned into two weeks of back and forth back and forth because they couldn’t do the job correctly. When we dropped off the car the final time, it had half a tank of gas. When we picked it up, it was empty. How awesome. We are writing a letter to the BBB and I hope this place shuts down. They have zero business being mechanics or running anything.

Called these guys up to find out how much it would be to change out my radiator, because I had good luck with them in the past. Stan says on the phone «dont quote me but somewhere between $ 500-​$ 900. OK, so based on my past experience i decided to trust them. Left it with them with their promise to call me and let me know how much the work would cost before they do it. Sooooo the next day i get a call saying my truck is ready and the bill is $ 952. Remember, this is just a radiator changeout. The radiator is $ 152 from autozone and the hoses are $ 20 apiece, so naturally i want an explanation as to why no call and why so ridiculously high. The guy behind the counter named «Duff», says, «well didnt stan tell you yesterday that it could be as high as $ 900? Duff tells me that i have to talk with Stan to explain the bill. So i called stan and explained that i am good customer and have used them in the past, but i am feeling a bit taken advantage of, while i am talking stan systematically lowers the bill in $ 100 increments until he lands on $ 700. He explains $ 700 is the absolute limit because he somehow managed to pay $ 450 for my radiator! Look, something bad has happened to this place, it used to be good, but no longer. Take your vehicle somewhere else, this place is in serious overcharge mode!

Paid $ 90 for an inspection and oil /​filter change. Upon getting home, the washer fluid reservoir needed refilling. They told me they did not have time to check the cabin air filter, which is a 5 minute inspection on my car. They gave me brake wear percentages, but no tire wear percentages. I paid $ 90 for an oil change, which is about 20% more expensive than the dealer. I’d probably come here again, except get a lower price on the oil change, and do the inspection myself. They did not try to upsell me on anything, which is a breath of fresh air. I felt they were honest and sincere, just not as comprehensive as I wanted them to be considering I was paying for a service I did not completely receive.

This place is a Joke !! Your better off trying to fix it yourself !! I had to bring my car back 3 times and they didn’t want to give me a rental. They had my car for 6 weeks the first time and I’ve had my car back for a month now and having to take it back again !! What a joke ! Please take your car somewhere else.

do not trust these guys!!! do not, do not, do not! we took our vehicle in to have a transmission service, they said it would be a waste of money to do it as we needed it rebuilt! we had a cracked front fluid pump in the transmission… he knew that even though he never even took it out… they wanted to charge us $ 2500-​$ 2700 to rebuild our transmission… we had a bad feeling about them so took it elsewhere, we got a second opinion, from honest experts this time, all we needed was a service and was told we needed to replace the gasket… we took it to sin city car clinic, the most honest mechanic we have found, they charged us a total of $ 115!!! thank you so much sin city car clinic for saving us $ 2585!!! these guys at aamco are dishonest and only after your cash! we noticed that they give free oil changes for good reviews online, is that the only way they get good reviews? because in our opinion and experience they sure don’t deserve a good review… steer clear, very clear of these guys at aamco in henderson on american pacific drive… very bad people who try to swindle customers in these bad economic times, they should be ashamed of themselves…

The service here is friendly, quick and thorough. Jan always has a smile waiting for you and is quick to communicate updates. They are honest about pricing and how long it will take to get your vehicle up and running. Kenny is always fast, efficient and makes every effort to come under estimated quotes for his labor. Every time my family has come here to service their cars they have been impressed.
