Their food is tasty and plentiful, and their desserts are divine.

(This place is a hidden gem. A far better lunch then any other restaraunts in the area. First of all, I loved the homey feel of the place(well, the building is actually a vintage-looking house converted into a restaurant). I went with a couple friends last week and at first we were not sure we came to the right place but we were welcomed warmly by a host who was actually the chef too. He told us that it would be about a 30 minute wait before we got a table because he and his mother were actually doing all the waiting and cooking themselves. We were about to leave but he sold us with just how passionate he was about the restaurant and serving us. Other people came in and then left when they heard about the wait, but we stuck it through. «They’ve obviously never eaten here, «the host remarked. When were seated, he immediately got us drinks(old-fashion Cokes in glass bottles) and told us briefly about the story of the restaurant. He told us how a lot of the menu items were homemade, keeping the tradition of home cooking that his mother believed in when they had started the restaurant. We were all truly enjoying ourselves. The other guests looked like they were really liking the place too. We ordered and when our food came we were pretty impressed. Everything tasted so fresh and we were definitely not let down. I highly recommend eating here if you live in town or anywhere close by. They also have a pizza napoletana dining experience on Friday and nights just $ 25 for all-you-can-eat homemade pizza, a salad, and a dessert. You get to bring your own drinks. They cook the pizzas in a Italian clay fire oven right in front of you and serve it freshly-baked. Definitely going back on the weekends :)

Oh Lawd!!! The food here is insane! The ambiance is great as well — service is top notch! Don’t be in a hurry(not like you will want to be because it’s such a cool old house). You know what they say about things worth waiting for! Everything is organic but it tastes like it’s really bad for you! I looooove food and I’ve been all over the world and now this little place in the middle of nowhere Texas is my favorite!

Friends took me here for a early birthday dinner. We all were blown away by the pizza. It was the best pizza we ever had. The chef puts whatever he feels like putting on the pizza and cooks in a clay oven oven. He makes the dough fresh that day. You have to call ahead and make reservations since they only make enough dough for that amount of people that are coming that night. You have to save room for dessert everything is homemade. I was shocked to have food that good in a small little town. Loved it!!!
