Labor Day weekend (Saturday) 2015, Unfortunately I was involved in a car accident, some injuries and a lot of damage to the vehicle. I called Frontier Collision within 10 minutes Ben the owner returned my call… first thing he asked «are you ok» it was very reassuring to hear that, he then told me that he would take care of everything. he then dispatched the tow truck right away… had his assistant take me home… Ironically I had met Ben approx. 1 year earlier right in front of his shop when someone rear ended me. At that time «not once» did he say «oh leave your car here in my shop, also back then he tried to assist me in any way he could just like he does currently with everyone he comes in contact with. Following the rear end accident I took my vehicle to a «body shop» that I had previously taken my vehicle in for repairs.
Fast forward… I was not completely satisfied with the repairs from that «body shop» ie: bumper cover not lining up, paint not matching, leaking window and the list goes on…
After the Labor Day weekend accident I decided to call Frontier Collision because Ben had been very «nice» and helpful to me without any obligation after the rear end accident.
The repairs to my car by Frontier Collision, were done promptly and to my satisfaction. Ben never offered anything in return for me to have my car repaired at his shop. he was always upfront with me unlike other body shops that I have dealt with in the past.
It was a pleasure to do business with Frontier Collision and everyone that I dealt with…
Furthermore: Enterprise car rental on site was very helpful for the time my car was being repaired.

I would like to end my review by saying that I have made a «Lifetime friend in Ben and the rest of the staff at Frontier Collision.

Frontier Collision never disappoints! Their staff is always friendly and helpful and ensures that the best work be done in an efficient manner. Whenever my car needs anything I always bring it to Ben and his staff because I know there is nobody better whether it is a small job like an oil change, to new tires, or a bigger job like new engine parts. Their office and the way in which they conduct themselves is professional and they always do exceptional work! Have no fear, Ben and his team are here!

Exceptional service!!! Their service is top notch from start to finish. The office staff is professional and courteous. They handled everything from the insurance to the rental car. My car was returned quickly and it looks as though it was never in an accident. Ben and his staff handle all the worries and return your car better than new!

When you have a car accident people often say «well at least no one got hurt» and of course that’s important but let’s all be honest it’s usually such a frustrating experience post accident that getting your car fixed becomes the second nightmare! NOT if you are lucky/​smart enough to deal with Frontier Collision in Hempstead/​Garden City. Ben and his team were so unbelievably professional and reliable from start to finish I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied. My car looks better than the day I bought it! Thank you so much. I had a wonderful experience with this company! I got into an accident in on Peninsula Blvd in Hempstead about 2 weeks ago. I was fine but my poor Lexus was really in bad shape. I was hit head on by a stupid teenager TEXTING! He crunched the whole front of my baby. both sides of the front, the hood, the whole front-​end! So I looked up nearby auto body shops as we were filling out the accident report with the police and it turned out Frontier was under a mile away. I called them and spoke to a very nice guy (Ben) he was very calming and he told me everything would be ok, he will take care of everything (and he did!). Within 5 minutes a tow truck was there to take my car. The very nice driver told me to ride with him back to the shop so they can get me on my way. The tow truck was very clean and the driver had a very clean cut appearance which was very comforting and made me feel safe. When I got to the shop Ben came out to walk me in, he asked me what I liked from Starbucks and had someone go pick it up for me. We sat down and Ben explained everything to me. He had the girl in front work on my paperwork and the insurance. The next thing I knew a man from Enterprise walked in asking for me by name! We finished up the paperwork (which really took no time at all) all the while Ben slowly went over the entire process in very simple yet detailed terms. I got in the car with the car rental man, went about a block away and within 5 minutes I was in a cute little rental car driving home!
Three days later The girl (I’m so sorry I forget her name, but she was a doll) called my cell to tell me my car was ready! I told her I’d have to pick it up on Friday which was 2 days away because I live and work in Port Jefferson. She told me «not to worry where do I work?» So she had the car rental guy drop off my car and pick up the rental!
My Lexus was PERFECT! Just like it never happened! it even looked better then before, it didn’t have a ding or a scratch on it. My car literally looked brand new and I’m not exaggerating!
I have never been in an accident before and I have never dealt with an auto body shop before. But what prompted me to write this is this company Frontier Auto Collision really went above and beyond, Never have I been so taken care of from ANY service! The professionalism of this company was absolutely wonderful! what started as a horrific day, being in an accident, my car getting destroyed, etc. Then I call this Frontier by freak luck and they really made a terrible situation much better. Every company providing a service should learn something from them. I never write reviews EVER but they really deserve it, great job! and thanks again Ben and the team at Frontier Collision.

Frontier is the best! They are excellent at what they do. They take away a lot of the stress from the aftermath of your accident. They go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. The office staff handle themselves with the utmost professionalism.
Rachel will quickly put together all the relevant paperwork and log your car in and call a rental car to come pick you up if necesarry. Ben is very experienced and will immediately be able to tell you which repairs your car needs and expedite the part ordering process. If you have any questions he has the ability to answer them effortlessly. You can tell he has been in this line of work for a very long time.
When it comes to the actual repairs they have a speedy turnaround time and your car will look brand new when you get it back. I am not even kidding, it will look like you just drove it off the lot. They stay in touch with you constantly throughout the entire process so that you know what is being done and exactly how long it will take to repair. They also take the weight off your shoulders when it comes to dealing with the insurance company. They will send them the estimate and deal with them directly so that you don’t have to be the middle man.
If you ever get into an accident rest assured that if your car is in their hands you will quickly put your accident behind you and be back on the road with your car in no time. I highly recommend this shop!

This review is based on the customer service and the people that work there as I never had any work done here.
Anyway needless to say my visit here was bittersweet. My car had gotten stolen BUT it was recovered. The Hempstead police recovered it and had it towed here over a holiday weekend (memorial day). From the moment we walked in here we were treated SOO nicely. Obviously tensions were high being this was my car that was stolen BUT everyone here put me at ease and made me feel comfortable that everything was going to end up okay… and with their help everything DID turn out okay. The impound fee wasn’t too outrageous. I’ve heard of horror stories where people have had to pay thousands of dollars in impound fees. but not me. A couple hundred dollars later and my stolen car was now mine again. I also left with all the necessary forms to submit to my insurance company.
Definitely will be coming back here if my car needs work done, half of the battle with auto shops is the people that work there and Frontier obviously does NOT have that problem. Both the mechanics and people at the front desk are angels.
