Vision Center Buri Optometric

I went to Dr. Buri last year for an eye exam. I made sure that the price I paid for my eye exam included EVERYTHING I needed to order my prescription glasses online. Meaning no hidden fees. I called in a few months ago requesting for them to send my prescription so I could order my prescription frames. They sent my prescription without my Pupil Distance (PD) even though this is required when ordering prescription glasses. When I called the office today to get my PD they informed me that it is not part of my prescription and would be an extra charge to release that information from them. I obviously asked all this up front and expressed my frustration that they misinformed/​lied to me. Carol from the front desk just kept saying how that is not part of the prescription and I must of misunderstood. So if you are looking for an honest and upfront optometrist this is definitely not the place for you. I will now have to pay for another eye exam elsewhere as how am I supposed to trust a dishonest practice with anything? What goes around comes around.

We have been with Dr. Buri for 3 years now. We love his office and services. His office staff is very friendly as is Dr. Buri. He is very patient with children as my youngest (4 yr. old) tends to cry whenever she sees a doctor’s coat. If you have questions about your insurance coverage, they will answer your questions quickly and thoroughly. People feel that the office is dated as is he, but trust me when I say he is very up to date compared to my last eye doctor in Hemet. Perhaps those complaining of his décor just prefer more of an Ikea aesthetic where Dr Buri’s office is more traditional. I personally focus more on Dr. Buri’s care and hygiene rather than what pictures he has on the walls. He carries very up to date frames and contacts and he has great referrals for lasik. I would describe his office as clean, friendly and small-​town. I love his services and will continue to use their services for many years to come.
