Tucalota Springs Rv Park and Campground

If you like rustic old fashion type of camping then this is the campground for you and your family. Our
Club has held its Hot Air Balloon & Wine festival Rally there for the past 6 years and its been a great experience. Jerry and his wife Lana are very accommodating and truly appreciate our business. The pool facilities are great, its got a quaint camp store, air conditioned community room which is great for gatherings and games, and has a fully stocked catch and release pond there on the campground. The 2 draw-​backs would be the dirt RV sites and the non-​existent wi-​fi connections. If your doing business on the road then this park would probably not work for you; but who does work on a vacation? If they’d only gravel their RV sites I would have given this RV Park 5-​stars.

We had a great time camping here last year with our friends. It’s very country so be prepared for that. But our kids had fun exploring, playing in the pool, and visiting the animals. They also do a hay ride and that was neat for the kids as well. Quaint little store and clubhouse but you can find plenty of activities to do. Bathrooms and showers very clean.

My husband and I had a nice time. Full hook ups, lots of space, clean, picnic table, fire pit, cute zoo, and pond. We will enjoy bringing our kids back.

Jerry, the manager… well, if you look up curmudgeon in the dictionary… Just read the other reviews and you’ll get the idea.
However, the facilities are good if you need an RV spot in that area, and the rest of the staff are nice.
One thing that is odd, and likely to bring a lawsuit against them — they say that you cannot come or go after 9pm, and that they lock the gate. False imprisonment, anyone? I guess, if you agree to the rule, but what if there was an emergency? What if I needed to get to the hospital? I need to run around the property to find someone with a key to unlock the gate while grandpa is dying from his heart attack?
I’ll say this — if you are easy going and just need a place to tent or park your RV and get away, they have what you need. There is little in the way of a view, and its hot as all hell, but again, if you just want to get away, this place will work for you.

Quiet and serene campground. Very shady, family friendly and clean community restroom. My only complaint was the customer service at the registration desk/​front office. The woman was rude, unfriendly and snippy.
