Wonderful dance studio. All the teachers care about the students. They provide a wonderful learning environment. Love this studio and the teachers.

Wow. So, last week, my family and I went out to visit several dance studios in/around town to check out some classes for the kids. We stopped at Shine! Studio and walked through the Boutique. We were greeted and told to go to the back of the room to the studio. When we got there, we looked around. It was really cramped and hard to get to the front desk, but when we finally did, no one was there to help us. Not a big deal, so we waited. A very sweet young man greeted us(he was maybe 12) and said he’ll find a «teacher» to come and talk to us about pricing and answer some questions. He was SO polite and well spoken! We waited for a few minutes(maybe 5) and a woman showed up. Just by the way she walked in, you could just tell she really wasn’t wanting to talk to anyone. I tried asking a few questions, and i found out that she was«just a teacher». I honestly felt like I was annoying her asking about tap and ballet classes. I really felt bad. So she gave me a slip of paper with prices/classes and we booked it out of the store/studio. Now, just a few moments ago(almost a week later), I asked my husband to call the Studio/boutique and ask if they had dance shoes for toddlers. First call was hung up on and the second one was the same woman as last week. Again, the call seemed almost painful for her to go through with. My husband just looked at me and said«We should just go to payless.» I’m really saddened by not signing up with Shine! Studio for our kids’ dance classes. I was really looking forward to the upbeat and uplifting atmosphere. Instead, we signed the kids up at In Motion on Florida Avenue which is FANTASTIC. It was literally, night and day difference.
