This eatery is now called Taste Buds at Large. If you ate here before the change in ownership, don’t be afraid to come back. The new owner has made sure the quality and wide selection of food remain. I bought some chicken salad –amazing, a small strawberry rhubarb pie –REALLY good, and some choked cherry cream cheese cookies –super amazing. My sister was so impressed with the food I allowed her to try, that she went there the same day. We also got to sample the owner’s sweet potato pie that was probably the best I had ever had. Even my niece, who is very picky, couldn’t stop raving about it. Definitely a place to check out if you like homemade — tasting food and interesting desserts.

Why oh why can’t this place be in Temecula? When we lived in the area we bought plenty of Sophia’s pastas and breads. Now that we’ve moved and don’t travel to Hemet very often, it is damn-near impossible to find something comparable. Highly highly recommend this all-inclusive bakery. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Great pasta and bread, the pasta is made fresh and packaged so you can take it home. It really is a gem, the prices are a little high but worth it!

WOW! This pasta is phenomenal! Shortly before Christmas, I was tired and didn’t feel like cooking so my husband called PAL and inquired if she had any pasta available(being so close to the holidays and on a Sunday when she’s normally not open). She said to check back in the afternoon. I’m SO glad we did. I picked up two bags of spinach fettucini and a bag of regular fettucini and two baguettes for just a little over $ 11. That fed 6 of us with plenty of leftovers. The pasta was so flavorful, I didn’t even use a sauce. Just butter, garlic, olive oil and some Italian herbs and it was a huge hit. My family raved. She is very accommodating and her prices are unbeatable. I’ll never go back to store bought pasta. Mmmm… now I’m craving it!
