Worst customer service ever!!! probably why it’s so lonely everyone I walk in there!!!

Craving tacos so we figured we give it a try. Won’t be back. Multiple broken or empty fountain drinks. CHEAP flatware that couldn’t cut, rice that tastes like it was made before. Friendly guy at the front counter but clearly understaffed. The bathroom was clean so it’s getting 3 stars.

Came here on Saturday 02/​13/​2016 for the first time and they have great prices and great food. I got the fish taco combo with bean and rice. It was delicious. The cashier was nice, place has a nice, clean feel to it. Would recommend and will be coming back as well

Thought I’d give this place a try and was not empressed. Being that I just moved here from San Diego & if anybody knows SD has the best Mexican Food, so I thought maybe I was being a lil harsh. Decided to give it another try a couple weeks later. Ordered the same thing and still blah. The roll tacos had absolutely no flavor. I was hoping just by the outter appearance of the taco shop it would be good. Thankfully I found this whole in the wall ran down place on Florida that has the best Mexican food in H-​Town.

Poor, poor customer service. I spoke with one of their employees, Margarita, her phone etiquette is non-​existent and on top of everything she hung up on me twice. The second time I called I asked to speak with David the owner and she said not in and hang up again. I hope their food is better than their customer service, good luck.

I really wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t like eating ALOT of grease. My eggwhite burrito was sopping in oil. :(
I went to get a fork but the forks were all facing up with the prongs exposed to everyone. Ew. Lol
I ended up just leaving my burrito on the table and left. Very disappointed. The dude liked his torta ok.

I found this restaurant about 3 weeks ago. I loved it. Food and service were both great. But on my third visit things changed. The regular girl (she was young and very friendly) wasn’t working at the register. There was a new one and she was RUDE AS HECK! She told me that I could only order to go because the we’re closing. I told her it’s only 8:24pm, don’t you close at 9? She grumbled and placed my order. She was so rude when she delivered my food. I was flabbergasted. The previous visits were great. I went back again a few days later and the same rude lady was there. I asked about the usual cashier and she said that she doesn’t work there anymore. I was under the impression that this was a family owned restaurant. Maybe they changed ownership? I do know that I am NOT HAPPY with the service or the food. The taco I ordered was kinda gross. The taco shell and toppings were fresh, but the meat had a weird texture. It was all dry on the outside and mushy like cat food in the middle. It was NOT shredded beef. I’m so sorry to use the term cat food, but that’s what it was like.
I hope the restaurant reads this and changes. I loved the restaurant until the last couple of weeks. Food and service are going downhill fast. Please fix it.

Sorry to do this but the lady at the cashier needs to get fired extremely rude wow nice place to eat but damn that short lady was a ass will not come here again stay away from this place

My daughters and I decided to try this place, it was the nastiest Mexican food we have ever tried. (And I should know I’m Latina) I’m pretty sure we will end up getting food poisoning. The meat very dry and it left a disgusting taste in our mouths. All the food was left on the table. We will NEVER eat there again!!! I do NOT recommend this place! If I could I would give this place negative stars!

Whatever happen to nice, courteous, and mannered people? Guess it’s the parents fault but in a business like this we’ll blame it on management… Customer service was terrible, cashier didn’t greet or smile she was plain rude! If the cashier doesn’t like her job, I’m sure someone else would. Work on that customer service cause that’s a main ingredient for a successful business. Other then that the food was delicious…

My husband had the California burrito and he thought it was ok. I had a chicken chimichanga and did NOT like it at all. First of all the meat I am certain was pork and NOT chicken. It was darker in color, charred, dry, and cut up into small cubes. They charge you an additional $ 1.99 to drop your burrito in the fryer to make it a chimichanga. The menu stated the «burrito» aka chimichanga came with choice of meat, beans, and cheese along with sour cream and guacamole. There were NO beans inside mine, and the cheese consisted of a pinch of shredded cheese sprinkled over the top, so basically this was all tortilla with dry meat, and some sour cream and pre packaged guac on top
The good is that the place is nice inside, they have a salsa bar and the portions are large.

Been here a couple times, close to our house so it’s super convenient. Foods flavorful, portions are pretty decent, prices reasonable and the staff is always nice and friendly. My only complaint is there two for two when I asked for no guacamole. So if they can improve that after a few more trips I’ll give them five stars.

I would not even rate 1 star. Rice was over cooked, beef taco meat hard, chips stale, salsa very watery. Rice/​beans very small portions… three other customers returned food while we were there eating… NO BUENO! !!! Customer service was terrible! !!!

First time we ate there everything was delicious. Took my husband there two days later and it was horrible! The same meal I got previously was made completely different. My husbands one taco, shell & chicken, was so hard it was not edible! He will definitely not be going back; first impression was too bad! Many salsas and specialty drinks not available. I guess we had beginners luck the first time!

Alright so I usually go in for a California burrito minus the pico de gallo and its good BUT today i went it for a steak and egg burrito and it was MADE WRONG. For a steak and egg burrito you put the carne asada and then cook the eggs with it. On MY burrito it was made separate so it wasn’t mixed well and i wouldn’t get a lot of egg. The «best» part is there were FRENCH FRIES IN MY BURRITO. Why were there french fries in my steak in egg BURRITO. I was disappointed today.
Not to mention why is the carne asada worth more than a cali burrito when it hardly comes with anything.

Not a good place to go eat, their food is so greasy and you get bad customer service. Definitely not going back. I don’t recommend, take your money elsewhere.

Food ok. Most annoying part was having a tv so loud playing cartoons that you couldn’t even hear yourself talk.

Pretty good, decided to check it out after hearing the ad on the radio.
Got a beer battered fish burrito and it was delicious

Tried the California Surfing Burrito and was blown away. Great combinations of flavors all in one. The meat was tender and well seasoned also comes with shrimps and a chipotle cream sauce they make that was very good. Friendly service and clean establishment, will definitely be back for more.

From someone who lived in San Diego a long time… I found this to be one of the BEST shops around. I am sooo effin happy they have a location here now. This just made livin in this shit-​hole of a city a little better.
