Go see Monic for a cut and style. She’s been doing my hair for years, and she’s the only stylist I trust for my short trendy cuts! I can be a bit picky with my hair, but with Monic I never feel that way cause she’s easy to talk to about what I’m looking for, and the end result is always prefect! No matter where you go girlie, I will follow ;-)

Firstly I will say I LOVE my cut. I am a difficult customer (I have the worst combination of being extremely particular and being WOEFULLY bad at explaining what I want…) but Nicole understood what I wanted and made sure to check with me throughout the cut that it was turning out how I expected. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to do the cut so that it would fall the way I wanted it to. The front desk staff was super friendly both on the phone and in person, and the salon is beautiful and very clean. Watching the other stylists cut hair showed me that they also knew what they were doing and did some gorgeous styling. The ONLY reason I gave this a 3 and not a 5 was because my hair stylist accidentally cut her finger then waited until she was done with a portion of my hair before she went to get a bandaid. I am pretty OCD and it made me squeamish. Despite that, the experience was wonderful and I will be going back to get my hair done there again!

I have been going to Laine for years and could write a novel about how wonderful she is. Along the way she has taken my hair from it’s natural color, to red with incredible dimension, to dark chocolate brown with a white and purple streak. She has been helping me grow my hair since I met her and has always kept my hair healthy and beautiful, despite my ever changing mind in regards to color. Laine is professional and listens to exactly what I want. I always leave the salon feeling amazing and rejuvenated. I recently moved to North Austin, but will continue to make the drive because a good stylist is so hard to find.

Salon was clean, upscale, and the stylists are apparently ‘certified’ but the final result speaks for itself. I had Laura, who also happens to be the manager, cut my hair. I showed her a pic and gave her a full head of straight hair to work with. After an hour of seemingly awkward snipping, my final cut turned out extremely choppy, uneven, and the layers were far too separated. Again, my experience at the actual salon was fine, but I definitely expected a top quality cut for a $ 50 price tag. Not to mention, the haircuts from the other stylists I watched weren’t the best looking either. Please retrain (or provide more frequent haircut training to) the folks here.

There are a number of signs in this salon asking for you to rate them on Unilocal — so here it is…
I made an appointment online (def liked that) for ¹⁰⁄₁₃ at 3:45. I had never been here before so I selected the option of «anyone» for my haircut and was assigned to «Michelle». At 3:42 I get a call from the salon saying that «Michelle» wanted to let me know she was running 15 minutes behind — well that would have been helpful to know a bit sooner, since they didn’t call until 3 minutes before my appointment which meant I was already pulling into the parking lot… But whatever, I appreciated the thought.
I go in and sit, knowing that «Michelle» is running 15 minutes late, so I was expecting to be seen at 4. At 4:18, I was still sitting, waiting. No update, no nothing. I went up to the front and asked if they could check to see what the status was — the girl at the front walks over to someone who I assume is «Michelle» and asks something (could not hear that) — but what I did hear was «Michelle’s» reply of «tell her to see someone else». As if my asking for an update on her running late for my appointment was somehow a burden to her.
The front desk girl comes over to me and says «Michelle» is working on blow drying and asks if I would like to see someone else, which I accepted. At that point I saw Judy who did a good job of the very simple haircut I wanted.
The haircut actually took less time than the time I sat there waiting to be seen by the person who I had a scheduled appointment with. And hey, I get it — things run late… But, even a half-​a$$ «sorry» from «Michelle» for waisting 30 minutes of my time would have gone a long way.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! I’ve worked with lots of stylists and they have all been amazing. Shout outs to Alka, Randy and Erika! Erika is the guru to my curls. I always leave with amazing highlights and a cut full of bounce! Thanks to the entire crew at D’Anthony! I will continue to send everyone I know your way :)

I’ve been coming to this salon for maybe 7 years and I can honestly say that I’ve never walked out complaining about my results whether it be a hair cut, color, style, make up, pedicure, manicure, waxing or facial.
However, lately I’ve been surprised at how some of the female workers dress. I understand that the salon isn’t a «corporate» world– but it’s still a business. I’ve seen see through dresses and blouses, short skirts that are having to be held down while walking, short shorts and low cut blouses. Since when are shorts acceptable in the business world? What the workers do is a reflection on the management.
Other than the dress code, I’m very satisfied with the salon and its products/​services.

Love this place. Maria is awesome. She does a great job everytime. Would recommend this to anyone!

Fabiola has been doing my hair since she was in beauty school and her skills have always been a step ahead of everyone’s. I can show her a picture and she do just exactly that. She has given me highlights to ombrés to fun fashion colors and I am always so happy and get so many compliments! You won’t regret booking with her she is amazing!!(:

Great service always. Laine great haircut and Halka did a great spa pedicure. All the girls are multi talented. I’m glad I found Laine.

Modern atmosphere and everyone was very nice. I got a shellac mani and classic pedi… Pedicure wasn’t too bad, but the shellac on my manicure started peeling off within a couple days. She also got pieces of cotton under the polish, so they weren’t smooth and she cut my nails way too short. I asked for rounded nails and walked away with all square. My cuticles are all messed up too. All in all a very messy manicure and not worth the price at all. I only gave an extra star because everyone was nice.

I only see Suzi for hair, etc. I started coming here for her. She is my hometown girl, so I love her. I can’t review a hair experience with anyone else, but I can say the salon is clean and lively. I always enjoy the music and general atmosphere. The staff is friendly. They offer a wide variety of services and special packages. The other customers always seem to be enjoying their time there.

I’m so impressed with this salon! They are consistently very friendly here and Rachel is just wonderful! She’s super friendly and she does a great job with blonde highlights.
I came to check out this salon before I made an appointment and I have also called a couple times about scheduling my appointment and to ask a few questions. They have been very friendly and helpful every time.
I’ve been to several nice salons in the past few years, found some very good hairdressers. But I just couldn’t find quite the exact, right person to replace the hairdresser I loved in St. Louis. It’s difficult to find somebody who knows how to work with fine, blonde hair and so I came here specifically for Rachel.
Based on Rachel’s feedback about the salon and recommendations I’ve received from friends, I would feel comfortable with any hair stylist here. It’s an excellent salon and it appears that they work hard to please their clients. That being said, I’m already attached to Rachel and would recommend her if you’re especially looking for someone who is passionate about keeping blonde hair looking good and feeling healthy.

I have come here a couple times. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. Paloma is great for pedicures and Maria did a great job cutting my curly hair !!

I tried this salon on a friend’s advice, and loved it. The location is perfect, the interior is beautiful, and the prices are reasonable. My stylist was Ana, she took the time to understand what I wanted and then made suggestions based on the specifics of my hair. My hair is fine so I’m rarely thrilled with how it looks but she did a fantastic job with the color, cut and style. She worked with what I wanted but made it fit my skin tone, face shape and hair texture. I received so many compliments on the new look. I’ll definitely be back for more services.

Starting off, this whole experience was kind of a disaster. My mother and I both bought Groupons for a facial and manicure. I called to set up the appointment and asked to add a pedicure on for each of us. It was like I was speaking Martian, because they were not comprehending what I wanted to do. «You want to add a pedicure… for both of you?» OMG
Once there, we had a short wait. The salon is very nice, very contemporary décor and comfy couches in the waiting area, which was directly in front of the hair portion of the salon. It is set inside a little strip mall, so I was a bit hesitant about how nice it was going to be. My mum was pulled away first for her facial, and a few minutes later (maybe 7), it was my turn. I had Alika and all I can say is that it was a horrible experience. I think I have blocked the memory now because I can’t recall the exact details on why I hated it, but I seriously contemplated just getting up halfway through and telling her that was enough. She did some extractions on my nose and forehead and they were super painful. I am not prone to blackheads, and I scrutinize my face in the mirror all the time and hadn’t seen any, so I’m not sure what she was extracting. Then she literally repeated the exact same process of this exfoliating scrub (smelled nice!) over and over. I have not had that many facials before (maybe 5?) but there were always different steps, not just repeating the same one! Also the spa room is right off the main salon area, and all I heard the entire time was people out there laughing and talking… not peaceful or relaxing at all. My mum had a facial with Marissa, and it was apparently a lot better with multiple different steps!!! She also had the same experience with the outside noise, and the music in her room, coming from the girl’s iPod, stopped multiple times throughout the facial. Even tho Mum went it first, I was done nearly 10 minutes before she was so I was definitely jipped on time.
When I came out, they tried to start my pedicure right away and I had to explain that I wanted to wait to do it with my Mum. Judy was my pedicurist and did my manicure afterwards, and she did a very good job. I am quite picky about nails and toenails but I was very happy with the job she did. Mum had Brianna for her pedicure, and she would not stop talking… :/​My mum and I could not even have a conversation, even tho we told Brianna that my Mum was visiting from NJ and leaving the next day. Brianna did an alright job on the pedicure, but did not scrub enough. Mum had Marissa back for her manicure and she did a great job.
To top it all off… I was not offered anything to drink (including complimentary glasses of wine!!!) until halfway through my pedicure. I had no idea there was free wine!!! :(
I prolly will not go back, tho I thought Judy was great. Not enough to bring me back.

I am very particular about my highlights, colors, and cut/​style. Every time I leave here I am very impressed with the professionalism, the quality of the service (Randy is my stylist), and the care. The head massage alone when the shampoo and condition after my color is AMAZING! They always provide me with a cold beverage. And, most importantly, this Paul Mitchell Salon is name worthy. They remember you here and they’re fun in addition to treating you like you’re at a spa. Enjoy! (I have gone here since 2011, before their expansion, and had two different stylists-​both of which were INCREDIBLE!)

I always try to wait after reviewing hair places, most because it’s such an emotional thing. I feel like if I’m happy about my hair or even unhappy, the emotional extremes are always involved
I like it here though, for more reasons than I’m always happy.
Scheduling — I can schedule myself online or I can call. Call me antisocial, but I love the online scheduling. I couldn’t remember who colored my hair last time, but online it has who helped me last as well as what services I received. So a few days ago when I found out I had an interview, I jumped online to get a touchup. It was so easy to pick a time and a day (today) that worked for me without being on hold or a pain.
Treats — They have treats here. Not just water or coffee, but soda, WINE and chips. I hope it’s implied by now that I love free wine, and being offered to drink it while I get my hair done.
Of the standard salon things, I love the colors they use. I appreciate the variety in standard as well as sassy color. I adore the wash room. The lights are low, the music is soothing and the scalp massages are fab.
Personally, I really like Audrey, the person that does my hair. She can talk when I feel talkative but doesn’t bother me when I want to be quiet (or write Unilocal reviews).
Maybe if there was a suave dude to take my coat when I got there I could find a fifth star, but they are firmly deserving of 4 stars.

I’ve had a couple of pedicures done here and my hair cut and colored once. The pedicures were both great however the most recent one the color started to chip and look dull after only a couple of days. Maybe she didn’t put a top coat on? I don’t remember.
I ended up with Alan as a stylist last week. I went in for a color job and ended up getting my hair cute, too. I LOVE the cut, and I’m liking the color. It ended up being more red than I wanted, but I do like it. I don’t put any blame on Alan AT ALL because I leaned toward this color. I guess I was hoping for a bit more brown than it turned out. I’m also still getting used to it. But change is good, and it is hair so it’ll grow out and be just fine.
I had such a good time talking with Alan. He is so friendly and we got along nicely. We were both running a bit late that day but he took his time to help me get to where I wanted to be.
This is definitely a very nice salon. It is obvious they take pride in aiming to please. I definitely recommend them. And I recommend Alan, too, as a hair stylist.
