History

Established in 2010.

I started working as a drywall finisher and painter when I was 16 years old I was only 20 years old when I began subcontracting. That was working on a Motel 6 in Amherst, Ohio. My younger brother and I hired a helper and drove there from Texas. We were young and life was an adventure. I worked for commercial painting contractors when I wasn’t working for myself. After 13 years I decided I needed a change and went to work for a drywall company. I learned all aspects of the trade from hanging drywall, to installing ceiling grid and eventually became a foreman. I have worked on hospitals, schools, office buildings, high rise condos, stadiums, and hotels. I took a job working for Midwest Drywall at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri in 2003. That job lasted eight years and took me all over the country. In 2010, I was laid off along with many others due to the economy. That’s when I decided to start Paul’s Handyman & Remodeling Service.

I have 30 years of experience in commercial and residential construction and have worked on many upscale projects, such as The Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in Vail, Colorado, where I was a foreman over a large part of the public areas. My crew and I framed the walls and ceilings in the restaurant, ballroom, banquet hall, and meeting rooms before I joined the quality control team made up of representatives of all the contractors involved. I pride myself on my work and my reputation means everything to me. I have moved my business to Heath, Tx. I have informed yelp several times, yet they haven’t updated my address.
