THE WORST customer service I’ve had in a very long time.
Overpriced gas and car wash! There was an error with the car wash selection at the pump and when I went inside to try an PAY MORE for a wash, I was told that I couldn’t.
The car wash was extremely basic — no dryer at the end either so your car just get dirty again right away. Ugh.
Cashier was rude and unhelpful.
Avoid!

I live very close and try to avoid these guys at all costs. However, on occasion I do pop in and purchase something from the food mart. If you do, be aware! First, they don’t put prices on anything! Somehow, I will call them the price genie, because they believe they can remember the price of every item in their head. And the price fluctuates depending on the genie who is working I have found out. Plus, the price tends to be 30−40% higher than what you would expect.
The next classic scam is they don’t give receipts. This leads to two scenarios. Either the genies are ripping off the owner, which I doubt in this case since they are all fringe family members. More likely, is that like most convenience stores, they grossly underreport their sales to avoid paying taxes and pay their genies under the counter.
Either way, they are committing fraud and they are victimizing local citizens.
Yesterday, I went in to buy Haagen Dazs ice cream since it was after Big Johns had closed and I did not want to venture into Safeway. After getting the inflated price from the genie, I put one back on the shelf. I complained once again about their price fraud. The genie said «We know, I can tell boss.» After getting home, the ice cream was bad. It had been defrosted several times, the texture was all crystals and the nuts were stale in the ice cream. It was completely inedible. Not going back period. However, by the looks of it, most of their clientele don’t look like the type that would read Unilocal.This is sad and it angers me that the people who could least afford it are being ripped off by this proprietor.
Also, their gas prices are the highest in town. I have personally seen the owner change the prices three times in one day. I have seen 3.89 in the morning, 3.99 at noon and 4.09 by the afternoon. I never buy gas there as it is the only Chevron that I know that won’t honor my fleet card.
I hope at least one person pays attention to this review. I am a local and I love most of our local businesses. You can see that by my reviews. However, this needs to be called out!!!

Cool people. Also friendly. Got a food mart. Gas is little expensive compare to others but hey you get what you pay for
