Tim Halberg – Photographer

I literally tear up when I think about Tim and his just naturally cool and compassionate way in taking photos. He looks at everything and captures the best of moments. I could not have picked a better photographer to capture our wedding and reception. It wasn’t always posed, he also caught some good ol candid fun! Thank you so much Tim! We are eternally grateful!

Tim is the BEST! He was the photographer for our engagement session in China Camp and wedding in Healdsburg. Tim is extremely professional and on top of everything but tons of fun at the same time which made our events that much more memorable. All of our wedding party and even the guests still mention how nice and fun Tim was at our wedding which can be seen in our photos.
Tim took the time to check out our venue weeks ahead of time and scouted out some beautiful shots in the vineyard. His experience and preparation allowed us to maximize time at the wedding while getting all of the shots that we wanted; and more! Taking posed shots with my severely disabled sister and some of our elderly family can be tough but Tim did a great job working with the group (during a heat spell) while staying positive, and came out with tons of great photos that we will enjoy for a lifetime.

Romantic poses don’t come naturally for me, so I knew that our wedding photographer would have a challenge and need to be amazing. Fortunately, my wife found Tim and all my worrying was unnecessary. All you have to do with Tim is show up and he will take care of the rest. Tim is extremely talented, takes amazing photos and great to work with. Tim’s photography and service far exceeded my expectations. From the initial meeting, engagment session, wedding day and even after the wedding, Tim’s friendliness and professionalism made working with him easy and enjoyable. His amazing abilities and artistic eye captured the moments and details of our wedding day perfectly making it easy to relive the day every time my wife and I look through the pictures.
I can confidently say that having Tim photograph our wedding was the best decision I made for my wedding day. Second only to marrying my wife who also loves the photos.
If you are on the fence about doing an engagment session. Definitely do it. 1) you have great pictures to display at your wedding. 2) you get to spend time with awesome Tim 3) It really helps to practice for the big day.

Halberg Photographers took our family portrait in Santa Barbara. They really captured our families personality and made the photo shoot fun. Our shoot included two small children age 3 & 1 which can be a handful. They did an excellent job working quickly to keep the shoot short and captured every moment. Thanks!

My husband and I were married at Nestldown in Los Gatos last weekend and next to the venue, the photography was the most important vendor to me. I spent months looking through photography portfolios and as soon as I saw their blog, I knew I needed to book them.
We live in New Hampshire so we dd not meet them until we went to Santa Barbara in July and had our engagement session. My husband was worried that it would be awkward or uncomfortable to have people we just met taking our picture for an hour, but it was completely the opposite. Tim and Cheryl make a great team and they immediately made both of comfortable. We had so much fun during our session and the photos were amazing!
The day of our wedding (November 3^rd) was also their wedding anniversary. They are both laid back and their demeanor is exactly what I hoped for during the busy day. They worked hard all day and at the reception they put a laptop out displaying the photos they had taken that day. I had guests come up to me and tell me they could not believe the photos. Our bridal party loved both of them and they made everyone laugh throughout the day.
I cannot recommend this pair enough! They are excellent photographers and awesome people!

Tim and Cheryl will be shooting my wedding this coming July in Santa Barbara. They have aslo shot several weddings that I have attended over the past few years so I am familiar with their work. They are both extremely talented and have a great «eye» of the job. I cant wait for them to shoot my wedding. So far my experience with them has been great. Most of the booking has been online and very easy to understand and navigable. Tim and Cheryl have also been very responsive in returning my calls when I have had questions etc. Most importantly, they are very nice and easy go get along with which will help immensely with my stress level on the actual day of the ceremony!

Tim and Cheryl are both fantastic people and you can tell they truly love their job and what they do. I have seen loads of their work and they are very consistent. I will be hiring them for my wedding.

Tim and Cheryl have photographed two of my best friend’s weddings and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They are the NICEST people you will ever meet. They are very accommodating and patient and make sure you get all the shots you want. Some of the shots they find are absolutely breath taking. and best of all, they do a same day slide show that they set up during the reception of the shots already taken that day. I only wish i knew about them when i got married. I highly recommend them for any kind of photography needed!!!

Love, love, love Halberg Photographers! As a wedding coordinator, I’ve seen a lot of photography, and met a lot of photographers. Tim and Cheryl are without a doubt some of the most creative, talented and fun photographers I have ever worked with! They are true artists, and an absolute pleasure to have around the day of. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stunning photography in a comfortable environment.

We hired Halberg Photographers for our wedding in Lake Tahoe in July 2010. Tim and Cheryl were awesome to work with. Tim was great about communicating via email or phone and both handled our complicated family pictures with complete class. Everyone commented on how nice and fun they were. We were laughing quite a bit. I’m pretty shy and they both made me and everyone else feel very comfortable. Just from the experience of working with them…5 stars is a must. I haven’t seen the pix just yet but I have have no doubt in my mind that we will love them. I’ll be sure to update this again when they are ready :) Hire them… you won’t be sorry!
