Description

Specialties

The Christopher Hill Galleries, located in Healdsburg and downtown St Helena, California, feature a varying assembly of approximately 40 world-renowned and regionally important artists from Europe and Asia, North America, and closer to home representing the many schools and styles of art from the 20th and early 21st century.

We proudly represent a broad range of abstract, impressionist, realist, expressionist and surrealist art in two and three dimensions depicting figurative, landscape, and pop art themes, presented with an European sensibility of curating.

The gallery aims to provide a friendly, informative, entertaining and visually stimulating experience for all visitors within a relaxed yet professional setting. Now in our 11th year, we have been proud to share many a fine art piece with our repeat and new collectors.

We welcome you to the galleries to experience a distinct collection and presentation of art while visiting the very beautiful Napa and Sonoma Wine Country.

History

Established in 2002.

Founded in 2002, The Christopher Hill Gallery opened in St. Helena, CA (Napa Valley) with the goal of purveying a broad range of schools from the 20th century represented by established and emerging artists from Europe, Asia, and North America. The curating of the collection emphasizes the contrasting of schools with the goal of stimulating the viewer’s visual awareness while informing and broadening the awareness of the viewer. The gallery opened its first boutique winery gallery at Frank Family Vineyards in 2006, and has since added four additional galleries at Peju Winery, Gary Farrell Winery, Brian Arden Winery, and Merryvale. In 2012, a sister gallery was opened in the Sonoma Wine Country town of Healdsburg. Now in its 14th year, The Christopher Hill Gallery has been repeatedly recognized by art writers, artists, and collectors for its selection of artists and is proud to have launched and represented the careers of several notable contemporary artists.
