History
Established in 1973.
Lou and Susan acquired an old prune orchard in Dry Creek Valley in the early 1970’s. Lou had just completed a course of study in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis and Susan was pursuing an interest in primary school education with a teaching position in Sebastopol. Neither had an inkling of the direction their disparate passions would take — with the ultimate creation of a family farm and winery in the ashes of those prune trees.
