Tony really set the mood for our spring wedding. He kept his announcements minimal & necessary, keeping the party going! My husband and I have some distinctly different music preferences, and he was able to incorporate all of it beautifully. We were really worried we would have a Top 40, not really us, dance list. But Tony went above & beyond, making sure our party sounded great! Most importantly, his affordable price & 5-​star communication, made collaborating with him absolutely stress free. Thank you Tony! Do yourself a favor and just go with Tony from Nor Cal Pro Sounds. You have enough decisions and planning to do when putting together your big day. Tony was without a doubt of the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding day. We had a sit down meeting prior to the day and he was professional, enthusiastic, and most importantly he got us and our vibe. We played all our favorite songs, made announcements during the wedding (without sounding like a cheesy talk show host) and had everyone dancing on the dancing floor. Tony was on it. He was there to set up early and even started early when guests began arriving. He was extremely upbeat and very patient with the many kids that were there. I loved the fact that it was the ONE thing I did not have to worry about all night! It was awesome!

Tony was so easy to work with — from the time we first spoke over video conference, Tony was professional and helpful. We had Tony DJ and MC our wedding and he did an amazing job. The sound system for our ceremony was tricky since it was an outdoor wedding but it went off without a hitch. When it came time to open the dance floor, people were having a great time. He was willing to put together a playlist based on disparate songs that we requested, and it turned out great. Not only is Tony a great DJ, he’s also just a really nice guy.

My husband is much more into music than I am so when it came to working with Tony, I let him take the driver seat. After meeting with Tony to talk about our music tastes, must plays, do not plays, overall feel of our wedding, my husband says, «Wow! He really knows what he’s doing!» To which I replied, «That’s why I picked him!»
Tony was so easy to work with and very reassuring for a detail-​oriented bride :) He paid attention to all of the little details, speeches, etc. He was able to make last minute changes on the day of our wedding, flawlessly! He even noticed my sister mention a song we used to play on repeat and made sure to play it. I was a little picky when it came to start times of songs, instrumental vs. lyrics and Tony nailed every detail!
Tony is very thoughtful, organized and knowledgeable. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

My partner and I had a destination wedding (we live in Seattle) in Sonoma last weekend and Tony was our DJ. We are so thankful that we hired him! From our first phone conversations weeks prior to the wedding, all the way through our event, he was a pleasure to work with; easy going, responsive, helpful with decisions, etc. Tony was fantastic at keeping our wedding running on time and when it finally came time to dance our asses off, Tony’s music was perfect!!! And by the way, he was ½ as expensive as one of the other DJ’s we got a bid from! THANK YOU TONY!

We do a 4^th of July block party yearly and normally hire a band. We chose to try a DJ this year and booked Fabian with Nor Cal Pro sound. They did NOT disappoint. Fabian showed up on time, he was super friendly and eager to make our party a hit. The night was crazy fun, thanks to Fabian. We had more people dancing in the streets than any other year. We had decided before hand a direction for the music, but I love that he read the crowd and took requests. He played T Swift for the girls… The shrieking and excitement was too much.
This party is super special to our neighborhood and Fabian is welcome back anytime!

NCPS made our wedding amazing! We hired Tony as our DJ and Stephanie as our day-​of coordinator. Both were a pleasure to work with.
We had some stressful changes to our plan due to rain on the day of, and Stephanie made sure everything was taken care of. In fact, I didn’t even have to talk to her much on my wedding day! I was clear to enjoy every moment of the wedding.
Tony made sure everyone was having a good time and dancing. It was seriously the best party we’ve ever been to :)

Tony was the absolute perfect DJ for our wedding at Veritas Vineyards! He was wonderful to work with, and we hit it off with him on our first Skype call. The online music tool let us select our favorites and change our ceremony and reception music a thousand times before making up our minds. He had all of our guests out on the dance floor all night long! We would recommend Tony without reservation to any bride-​to-​be!

Tony and Stephanie are absolutely wonderful! Tony was the DJ for our wedding and he definitely exceeded our expectations. Prior to the wedding day, Tony spent over an hour on the phone with us going over every little detail and request to make sure he gave us everything we wanted. He was patient with us and took his time to really listen to our ideas and was flexible with our requests. Stephanie also helped us out a lot with all of the planning and was always available to answer questions which was very appreciated during the planning process!
On wedding day, not only did Tony make all of our requests, ideas, and visions a reality, but he went above and beyond his DJ duties to make sure we had the best day ever. Our venue had a few room changes and difficult/​strict rules, but Tony went out of his way to show up to the venue early to make sure everything was set up to run smoothly.
We had told Tony that it was really important to us that we had enough time to dance and that everyone felt comfortable on the dance floor. Tony had all our guests dancing the night away and played every song we requested and also added his own flare which added to the awesomeness of the night! We will never forget how much fun we had on that dance floor and our guests have continuously told us how great our DJ was. We haven’t stopped thinking about how amazing Tony is and are so very thankful we found him. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him and he truly made it the best day of our lives!

We met Stephanie and Tony at a bridal show at Morais Vineyards and felt comfortable with them off the bat. They were very approachable and had a very simple and sweet setup. What impressed me the most was that after meeting so many people at the bridal show, they remembered me when we contacted them the next week. They even held our wedding date for us when others were interested!
Once we signed the contract, they didn’t just forget about us. They touched base with us multiple times and were very responsive when we had questions. They even had a neat client portal we could use to select our music for the ceremony, cocktail hour/​dinner, and the reception. It was very easy to use and we could go in an make changes as much as we wanted until 2 weeks prior to the event. A few weeks before the wedding, we had a pre-​event consultation to walk through the entire event from the ceremony through the last song to make sure we were on the same page in regards to the ceremony songs, bridal party names, introduction songs, etc.
The day of the event went so smoothly. We did not have to worry about a single thing when it came to music and amplification. For the ceremony, the officiant had a very discreet lapel mic that was loud enough for everyone to hear. The music was right on cue and the volume was perfect (not too loud and not too soft). For the reception, Tony worked very closely with us to make sure the bridal party names were pronounced correctly. We had some very difficult names and he pronounced them beautifully. He also did a great job coordinating a mic for the FOB, best men, and MOH speeches. Then, when it came to the dance music Tony turned it on! The music was tailored to our tastes and I received so many compliments on how wonderful the playlist was. He kept the dance floor filled all night! I would highly recommend NCSP to anyone who is getting married and want a DJ they do not have to worry about. I wish them the best of luck over Hawaii. Aloha!

I have absolutely ZERO reservations about giving NCPS a five star review (and if you know me, you know five stars are few and far between).
I have to thank Unilocal!for helping me find the Muzzin’s (Tony and Stephanie). I’m so glad I used it and I’m even more glad that all the other reviewers took the time to write them. It was a God-​send.
I loved the fact that immediately after putting out a feeler email, I received a reply from Stephanie. I was shocked and surprised that they had an availability for our event (a military promotion party). I booked them and from there I was able to access the extensive music selection that Tony has available. Very few of my music wants were not on his list and the ones that WEREN’T on his list, he managed to get them before the party. That in and of itself was impressive because our selections ranged from country to old-​school hip-​hop to salsa. Tony was able to get them all.
I’d be remised if I didn’t mention that all of my correspondence throughout the booking and selection process was done with Stephanie. Even in the midst of a family emergency that the Muzzins’ had, I was able to contact her and receive a prompt answer. Very thoughtful and professional.
We had a Skype appointment with Tony and we were able to iron out any detail and touch base with him the week of our event. On the day of the party, Tony showed up three hours early! Not just to chill, but he set about helping my husband move furniture and get a lay of the land to find the best place to set up his equipment. He was constantly offering to help us get situated which was a blessing to us. Tony helped me to remember the schedule of events and whenever he interacted with the crowd it was very cohesive and congenial. He is the consummate professional.
Our guests were a very diverse crowd, but for the most part the dance floor was full all night. Tony’s mix was on point and I am still hearing comments about how my guests loved the music (and how sore they woke up the day after). I do wish we would’ve been able to hear all of our music requests, but I don’t think that was due to any fault of Tony. I think it was more about making sure the vibe was flowing and keeping people on their feet. I was happy with that. I may just have to rehire them to play nothing but spanish music for me and my husband! Overall though, our party was a huge success because of the entire experience we had with NCPS.
I can’t express enough how stingy I am with stars when writing a review. I’m a stickler for customer service, professionalism, respect and chemistry. If they don’t all jive, I’m quick to note it. But in that same vein, when I am blown away by the service I receive, I’m a firm believer that I should be even more vocal. This couple is doing business right and because of that they deserve the business anyone has to offer. I would NOT hesitate to hire NCPS for any event I would need them for and I would NOT hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends and family.

As every bride knows, you should contact a few different vendors when looking to book for your wedding. After shopping around in the area I live in, I decided to look around our venue. I stumbled across Nor Cal Pro Sound and saw rave reviews online. This must be a good sign, right?! I contacted the company via email and received a reply within 24 hours. AHH!!! (As the beams from the heavens shined down on me! You would not believe how many people don’t respond OR don’t respond promptly!) Anyway, the moment I exchanged conversation with Stephanie, I knew that we HAD to have them DJ our wedding. She was personable, yet very professional. When I found out that they had other couples interested in our date, I did not hesitate leaving a deposit! Price was not an issue at this point, because I knew it was the perfect fit. However, out of all the vendors we contacted, they were the most affordable!
Stephanie was so helpful along the wedding planning process. I would sit at my desk and see to my surprise an email from her; she would ask how things were coming along and if I had any questions, etc. Most companies collect your money and you don’t hear from until the week before the wedding.
I love that A. they only do weddings. That’s what they specialize in! B. Their website is geared to help you! There is an online planner where you can pick out songs you would like to hear during the ceremony or reception. How cool is that?
On the day of, Tony, arrived to the venue a few hours in advance to set up. It was the ONE thing I didn’t have to worry about that day because he had EVERYTHING under control.

Tony did a fantastic job entertaining our guests with his selection of music. I couldn’t be more happier with their services and highly recommend them for your wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie and Tony. From the moment we started working with them through our wedding and even after all the celebrating was complete, they were nothing but a pleasure to work with. Prompt, friendly, and flexible, they make a terrific team and for anyone getting married ANYWHERE, I highly recommend their services. We originally hired them as our DJ, but once we learned that Stephanie also offers day-​of services, we added that to the tab and I can say without a doubt that it was the best decision we made when planning our wedding.
But first, the music! We had a couple Skype calls with Tony about the type of music we wanted at our wedding, and I just loved his enthusiasm and passion for what he does. My now husband and I are big 90s hip hop fans (I’m totally dating myself by saying that, I realize), and once he heard that, he took it and ran with it. The dance floor was packed all night, which is saying something, since everything was outside sans tents and it was about 50 degrees! People were dancing so much they were shedding layers.
As for the day-​of coordinating, Stephanie was ON IT. We had a bunch of issues that day with vendors, including a very late shuttle bus, a completely wrong wedding bouquet, and issues with linens. Stephanie handled EVERYTHING and I had complete peace of mind the entire day because of it. At various points in the night, both Stephanie and Tony would approach my husband and I with updates and small questions, which I appreciated. It was the ultimate in day-​of coordination and even if you don’t want to hire them as your DJs, hire Stephanie as your day-​of coordinator, you won’t regret it!

Nor Cal Pro Sound was the DJ at our wedding in September at the Conservatory of Flowers. Stephanie and Tony were unbelievable. Nor Cal Pro Sound came highly recommended and they were beyond our expectations.
I originally worked with Stephanie handling all of the logistics of our contract and then found out Tony was going to be our DJ. A week before our wedding we had a Skype conference call to go over all of the details. They were so charming and hilarious… not to mention that Tony and my husband could be brothers and we all shared a laugh about their matching beards and glasses.
We loved that they were open to taking our guests suggestions but were very supportive with our «do not play» list. On the day of our wedding, Tony was amazing and was the perfect MC. He checked in with us throughout the night… just enough so that we knew what was going on but not enough that we felt like we were working at all. He kept the evening right on track and once the dancing started, all of our guests were out of their seats. We literally had people dancing the entire evening and he played the perfect mix to appeal to both our younger and older crowds.
I really have nothing but wonderful things to say about Nor Cal Pro Sound. I am disappointed to see them leave California but wish them nothing but the best!

My husband and I worked with Tony for our wedding in Sonoma, CA this July.
When we initially met with him and through the planning process, he was easy to work with and was flexible with our different music preferences. We had some strong preference on what to and what not to play. Luckily, the Nor Cal Pro Sound website had lists of music to choose from, including top 100 songs played. We went through that and looked for any songs that we didn’t like and put them on our «do not play» list… that gave me some peace of mind. My main concern & advice for people using the website is that the page doesn’t automatically save your music preference as you add them, similar to other music sites. You must press the save button at the top of the page to save your song choice. I was not terribly excited that the lists I spent hours putting together were lost because I didn’t see the save button.
As for specific music choices, Nor Cal Pro Sound does have a pretty large music selection, so it is easy to choose songs for your event playlist. They also allow you to add15 new songs for them to download. This is helpful if you like less popular music or if you have polka music at the wedding like we did. We added 15 songs to that list along with 15 songs from their library & they were able to find similar songs to go along with those for the entire event.
The music at the wedding went well. Tony helped with set up of the amp for our pianist and microphones during the ceremony. The cocktail hour music was great, and he did an amazing job at putting together a «French café» music list for our dinner hour, We simply told him that we loved that station on Pandora and he nailed it. The dancing went well also. He played a couple 90’s rap songs that I wasn’t thrilled about, but I requested a lot of 80’s and some California songs, so they did mix in well. I guess I’m just picky when it comes to dance music… all-​in-​all, we were happy with our choice. If I could do it again, I would have been a little more specific about what we liked…

Tony and Stephanie were the perfect people to get our party started at our winery wedding!
From the beginning, they were so supportive and friendly in helping us plan our music and getting to know us as a couple. The one thing that really stood out was when Tony made a special shout out to my brother who is in a wheelchair, to dance with some of my friends. It was so sweet and caring of him to pay attention to our guests and make it as perfect as he could… and it was. We did line dancing, kids were break dancing and even the elderly were up and shaking it! It played a variety of music to suit everyone’s needs and his spinning skills are amazing! I don’t know the technical terms, but he was scratching and mixing in such a cool way! It worked perfectly for our game activity we had during the wedding.
Tony worked well with all our vendors and even my cousin/​MC! He was very professional yet had a cool composure that made us feel really comfortable to have him in charge of the party. We had a lot of things going on and he was right there ready to go! My husband and I are so grateful to have NorCal Pro Sound DJ our wedding and even more thankful to have met Tony and Stephanie. They are truly wonderful people and Tony is extremely talented! He’s the best.

Tony was the DJ at our wedding two weeks ago and did a fantastic job! From the moment we met Tony and Stephanie we felt they were invested in making our wedding the event and party we wanted. Upon meeting them you will quickly get a sense for their love of music and pride in the events they put on. What we liked off the bat, and a true differentiator is that they both got to know my husband and me in our initial meeting. They really wanted to understand our personalities, style, theme, music preferences to ensure our wedding was personal and customized. It was a clear choice within minutes of meeting them that they were going to make our wedding memorable. Would HIGHLY recommend… on to the details…
Why they’re soo awesome?: Stephanie and Tony are very easy and comfortable to work with while at the same time not lax in their professionalism, promptness and attention to detail. Tony was able to take my husband and my very different preferences (R&B Soul vs. Folk and Classic Rock) and created sets that really pleased the crowd and most importantly us. We heard throughout the night, be it cocktail hour, dinner or dancing that the music was «dope» and that he was «killing it»! Tony is able to set pace and keep the energy high even if things don’t happen as planned. He’s mindful of time and will make sure to find you and suggest options to make sure all scheduled events happen despite other things being off (dinner being served late, etc). He’s tactful, a great MC and makes sure to highlight the marrying couple and wedding and not himself.
I could go on for days and will close by saying I really can’t say enough great things about Nor Cal Pro Sound!

Tony did an amazing job DJing our wedding. He did multiple set-​ups, handled the ceremony, dinner, dancing — all of it. Everything went off without a hitch. We gave him a few directions and from that he put together an awesome set. People were dancing the entire time, which is all we really wanted, and Tony delivered.
