Since 1989, Mugnaini has been an importer and manufacturer of authentic Italian open-​hearth pizza ovens, which we distribute throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to homes and restaurants. Our deeply knowledgeable staff is available to guide customers to the right oven for their needs and lifestyle. Beyond the purchase, we answer questions and provide free consultations throughout the installation process. Our customers often tell us that they can’t believe the difference in our service and how fun we make the oven buying experience. Then, we teach people to use their oven to its fullest potential through our unique cooking school.

Please visit our newly constructed, 15,000-square-foot facility, located just 2 minutes from Healdsburg Plaza. The building houses our headquarters, a state-​of-​the-​art production facility where wood-​fired and gas ovens are built and customized, a retail shop filled with cooking accessories, an impressive pizza oven showroom with many models on display and a cooking school. History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 on a trip to Italy, Andrea Mugnaini was captivated by the delicious meals that could be prepared in a traditional Italian wood-​burning oven. From that moment forward, she began importing wood-​fired ovens to the U.S. and Canada creating the brand Mugnaini. As the company grew, Mugnaini incorporated cooking classes and education for clients and potential buyers. Twenty-​six years later, the Mugnaini company and its longstanding team moved their headquarters from Watsonville to the wine country. Over the years they have perfected their own culinary curriculum for all who are interested in this artisan food movement.

Andrea Mugnaini is the founder and CEO of Mugnaini Imports. Along with a dedicated team she lead the way introducing the category of wood-​fired oven appliances to the U.S. market. What has been a tradition in Italy for centuries was new to American consumers. Now wood-​fired pizza ovens are widely recognized in restaurants and have become and increasingly popular way to entertain in homes throughout the U.S. and Canada. Andrea is passionate about the experience wood-​fired cooking provides – both to enjoy delicious food simply prepared and to bring people together.
