Meet the Business Owner

Jim F.

Business Owner

Jim Forchini has a degree in mechanical engineering. After 15 years in aerospace and private manufacturing, he developed an interest in winemaking after being a home winemaker and part time grape grower. This involvement transcended into a second career as a viticulturist and professional winemaker. He brought all his engineering tools with him and through self study, learning by doing, and short courses at University of California Davis he designed and built the winery and developed his skills needed to produce award winning wines.
