Boutique organic peach farm in the Dry Creek Valley of Healdsburg, growing 30 different varieties of peaches. We have peach jam and Bellini mix and we also grow organic produce in the summer season.
The best peaches, ever. Well worth the trip if you are anywhere near Dry Creek Valley. The selection of varieties changes through the summer. Just when you think you have found your favorite, there is another equally great type of peach a few weeks later.

The best peaches in Sonoma County, bar none. And, the proprietor(owner) gives expert and accurate advice on ripeness, canning techniques, etc. I think the prices are OK by farm stand standards, but they are not cheap either. We bought flat yesterday, which proved to be 24 great peaches and packed in a quality box. Of course the box is too good to keep, so are going to make another peach run and fill it up again.

Yum! My BF and I were pretty hungry after visiting a winery, and this place had lots of great options and wasn’t too pricey considering the quality. They’ve got great wine and accompanying snack options, fresh sandwiches, and quality coffee and other beverages you wouldn’t expect from a somewhat random shop in this small town just off the main road. They had plenty of picnic tables outside as well, so it was great to enjoy the view of the vineyards while eating the sandwiches outside. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the area:)

I bought a crate of peaches yesterday and they’re all eaten by this afternoon. We discovered this orchard from reading an article at our hotel and now, this place will always be on our list for the wine-country. In fact, we may drive up again from the South Bay later this week — just to get another crate or two! If I owned a wine-tasting tour, I would definitely add a stop here to my itinerary. The owner was so welcoming and calm considering the constant flow of people that came through her doors wanting to taste the samples and talk about the varieties she grows. She was low on my favorite, and I wish she had an option to self-pick…maybe she’ll consider that someday!

If you live in Sonoma County and you haven’t taken a summer trip out to Dry Creek Peach Farm, get there during the summer for the most amazing heirloom peach farm. Small rustic farm, specializing in beautiful old fashion varieties of peaches and nectarines. They also have various veggies picked fresh daily.

Rustic small covered barn. Sells a small selection of produce, in the dozens of visits here over many years, never seen more than 6 or 7 items for sale. Renown for the stone fruit. Grows and sells heritage varieties that are not easily found elsewhere. I bought peaches, plums, and onions yesterday. All are fresh and flavorful. Prices are farmers market norm. A pleasant stop when you’re touring the Dry Creek valley wineries. Open only July, Aug, and 1st half September. And only Thursday thru Sunday.

In Sonoma County many of the original orchards are gone now to make way for the grapevines, but deep in the heart of the Dry Creek Valley, you’ll find this family owned and operated peach farm with some of the best fruit you’ll ever taste. You can get peaches and other stone fruit at your local grocery store, but there is simply nothing better — nothing — than going to your local orchard and getting them fresh picked off the tree! The peaches at Dry Creek Peach & Produce’s are so sweet and juicy! This year, I even bought some Peach Jam because it tasted so good! While they can be found at the Healdsburg and Santa Rosa Farmer’s Markets on Saturdays, the best place to see them is at their place on Yoakim Bridge Road on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays noon –5 pm. Peach season is short so visit them at the farm stand from June thru September.

I’m so glad we got the GILT deal for a private tour and lunch at this hidden paradise! Our hostess and owner of the farm, Gayle, is extremely friendly and knowledgable. We immediately fell in love with her farm and all the yummy peaches that were there. It was fascinating to see the tender loving care that goes into this land! We even got to do some hands-on job thinning two peach trees. SOOOO fun and therapeutic! The lunch was simple yet delcious! Gayle uses simple cooking methods to bring out the best flavors in her locally grown ingredients! Loved everything that we had there! Overall, it was a wonderful short get-away for my husband and I, and we look forward to visiting this little gem again!

Hidden gem just an hour and a half north of San Francisco! I was lucky enough to purchase a special deal via Gilt to get a private tour and lunch with the owner. Such a great little getaway! The owner-husband Brian(of a husband and wife team) is super nice and the variety of tasty peaches this special organic orchard produces definitely makes it a must-visit! Although this orchard is only 6 acres(900 trees), with an abundance of personality and uniqueness since it’s surrounded by wineries. There’s no other peach orchard around in Sonoma! Brian was telling us that this land used to be asparagus farms before wineries took off… fascinating. Brian reflected that he never used to eat peaches until he came to own this land. I asked him what his favorite fruit is and he said«my peaches.» I suppose I shouldn’t have expected anything else. DCP&P not only sells peaches but they have some delicious tomatoes, onions, and corn. Read more about them in their WSJ article Beautiful area, and I hope to come back someday soon.

I only eat peaches from this farm. Going out to the farm is the best place to get the furry sweet peaches. The peaches can also be purchased at the farmers markets(Sebastopol and Santa Rosa for sure) Sweet and out of this world. They’re hand picked only when ripe and ready.

If you are a fan of the peach, nectarine or other stone fruit, then you’ve got to make the trek out to Dry Creek Peach and Produce. I stumbled on this family run farm stand about 6 years ago and, while it hasn’t been a closely guarded secret, it has been one of those places that I share with those«in the know.» The fruit is picked ripe off the tree, which means that it is full of sugar and goodness. Simple, pure, and delicious. What I’ve always loved is walking into the stand and being greeted by the friendly proprietors, a husband and wife team, who have great taste in music, and aren’t afraid to have their vinyl records playing away right next to the peaches. Perhaps this is why they’re so delicious. Organic. Local. Sustainable. Personally, I believe that these are the best peaches you can find in Northern California, hands down. Living in San Francisco, I make a special point of taking 3 – 4 trips each season for a flat of the ripest, sweetest bounty available. If their site’s not listed, here it is: Enjoy !
