I simply wanted to buy a few slices of pizza. The slices that were available were black. Literally. I asked if they had any that were NOT burned and the boy(he looked like he was under 16 years old and what looked to be his parents were standing behind the counter — one was making the pizza and one just stood there). He said, «Yes,» got out a pie from under the counter, and proceeded to slice out burned pieces. I again asked for non-burned slices. He got annoyed, cut some that were not burned, heated them up, bagged them, took my money, and then shoved the bag at me without saying a word. It was absolutely rude customer service! The adults behind the counter said nothing to me and glared at me as I looked at them. Never going back there again!

Pizza was cold when served. The place is run by high school students. Lettuce on a wrap was hot and ruined. It’s expensive and the employees friends were hanging out with them and they were loudly talking about inappropriate things because there is no adult supervision. Not going here again because the food on display looks horrible.

My favorite pizza place as a kid. The toy train up top and arcade in the back was my favorite and so was the pizza. But times have changed and I no longer go there.

You’re driving. Suddenly your stomach begins to rumble and you realize you forgot to eat lunch, but you’re surrounded by strip malls. You pull in hoping for a quick simple bite and notice a pizza shop. How can you mess up pizza, you think to yourself, so you open the doors and you’re slammed with the smell of garlic. Your mouth waters, your eyes glaze over and you’re in Italian heaven. Who would have thought this place was so delicious! Service was outstanding, prices were spot on and food was hot and fast. Blown away by this pizza shop hidden in a strip mall. Keep up the amazing work gentlemen!

Was looking for something quick and tasty and this place fit the bill. It’s a very casual environment in a strip mall that serves pizza by the slice. Pieces were large. We also ordered garlic knots which were awesome.

As a kid, I would regularly visit this place everytime I went shopping at the plaza and deemed it to be the best pizza in the world. That was probably at least 8 years ago before I moved away. I recently was able to go back to my hometown after nearly a decade and jumped at the chance to visit my most treasured restaurant of my childhood. After such a long time, I was most afraid that I had matured and that Todaro’s(I actually never knew the name as a kid) would not live up to the expectations that my memories created as a kid. As I walked in with my family, I saw that everything, save for the newer photographs and employees, was EXACTLY the same. They even had the same lights and toy train above the booths. As I stood there, it seemed as if time had frozen as I was soaking up a psychological time travel. My senses weren’t sure if this was a good sign or not, so I quickly snapped back to my senses and carefully ordered a large pepperoni. It exceeded all expectations! I couldn’t remember a pizza tasting so good! I don’t know how quite to explain it, but the combination of fulfilling a sense of nostalgia, eating the best pizza ever on a chilly fall night, and sitting with family brought some tears to the back of my eyes. As I happily wolfed down the pepperoni and proceeded to eat 2 more pies, it seemed as if I could die happily right then and there. Oh, and to review the pizza, it was topped with mouth-watering cheese which YOUMUSTEATASSOONASITISSERVED. If you order it, you will know why. The cheese is almost liquid(in a good way) and will slide off your pizza. But it’s so good you shouldn’t care. The crust/bread and tomato sauce wonderfully complement the pizza; it’s just absolutely one of the best pizzas ever. The staff is very hard-working, but they are very friendly people when you talk with them. And the restaurant itself boasts one of the coziest atmospheres in my memory. While I loved it as a kid, and probably love it to death now after this last trip, I don’t see many customers. To see this place close would be a heart-wrenching experience I couldn’t possibly imagine. So please do yourself, your family, your neighborhood, and pizza lovers everywhere a favor and grab a bite at Todaro’s. It certainly has blessed me more than any pizza place ever could.
