Went in today to get some paperwork for licensing my car(personal property tax waiver). I was told i did not have the correct paperwork to even get the paperwork i needed. I then asked if there was a place on StL county website(don’t even get me started) which would walk me through the steps and explains what information is needed at what steps or if the individual working at the office could write something down for me explaining the process. I was given a look like i was speaking a foreign language. The(i assume) manager then joined the conversation and directed me to «read the state statutes». Not the most helpful employees, to say the least.

Visited the Revenue Department to fix a personal property tax issue and it couldn’t have gone any better. There are four bays going(with comfortable leather chairs to sit upon) so wait time was only about 5 minutes. The employee who helped me, Jasmine, couldn’t have been more friendly or expeditious. It looked and sounded as though the other workers were the same. The same goes for the Cashiers. You can pay county traffic tickets and court fines as well as personal property, real estate, and business taxes and license fees here by cash, check, or money order. For whatever reason, they don’t take credit or debit cards. There is a number system for Revenue matters, but just a line queue for payments. Though they are open until 430, the number system shuts off at 4, so get there before then!
