Steve was the electrician they sent to my home. Not only was Steve very kind and generous, he knew what he was doing and completed the job in a timely manner. The first day he showed up and could not figure out the problem causing the lights to trip. It took about 3 hours, although come to find out the machine that was testing the voltage was not working properly so he took an hour and a half off of our payment. Very pleased with the work Steve did as well as the honesty and hard work to figure out the issue and fix it efficiently.

Very professional business that does great work. I have used them for gutter cleaning, porch steps, and for a heavy chore. Each time they showed up on time, did the work efficiently and knowledgeable, and acted very professionally. I have referred them to two friends who also received excellent customer service and great work. The prices were much better than other quotes I received, and I look forward to working with them more

Disappointed. I had tried to get this company to do a few things for my rental. I called Jim, who informed me he was driving up north (it was a Friday afternoon, no big deal). I asked him for a call back to discuss the repairs when he returned the next week. At my suggestion, I texted a summary with my needs and my contact information. That was July 24^th. I never heard anything back so I am disappointed that based on reviews, I thought I had found a reliable company. I guess not.

Fantastic service conscientious, polite. I had gutters repaired, re routed, and cleaned. They checked the roof for any repairs. I would certainly call them again

I had a difficult dishwasher install due to my home being older. I called many different services, but I’m glad I decided to go with Michigan’s. I was able to text pictures of the job to get a very accurate quote before they came out to do the work.
Patrick came out to do the install. He was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and communicated with me VERY well. He got right down to business and had the job done in no time. He removed the old dishwasher, cleaned up all the detritus from the new dishwasher and walked me through it. I would highly recommend you choose this service as I will be going with them on future jobs.

Had drywall repairs and new sheets installed and had carpeting wrapped in basement stairs. Services were done in a timely fashion with good quality. Would use this company again for home repairs/​renovations

I had my smaller bathroom remodeled by Michigan’s Handyman last May. I was so pleased with the work Jason did that, when it came time to remodel our master bath, I called Michigan’s Handyman again. My master bath was completed yesterday and I am thrilled. Jason was prompt, very pleasant and does quality work. I highly recommend Michigan’s Handyman and when I have another project, I will call them again. After my shower door is installed, I will post pictures.

I hired this company to clean my gutters and install leaf guards. Initial scheduling was easy however after having a day with high winds and having to reschedule is where the problem came into play. Dealing with rude workers saying they’ll reschedule whenever instead of giving me a date. That response was given after I turned down over priced additional work $ 300 to replace the wood on one side of the garage, I was told it was so expensive because it was so much wood. So I went to Home Depot and priced the lumber myself and it was $ 95 for both sides and about 2 hours of work from someone who is not in the construction business. I also had to clean the debris that were removed from my gutters and there is an extension off my downspout missing since the repair date that I was told maybe the wind blew away. Which in order to do so «the wind» would have to unscrew it. I do not recommend this company nor do I plan to hire them again.

I recently had some work done in my basement by Michigan’s Handyman. The work included, studding walls, drywalling, painting, and installing lighting and electrical outlets. Curtis, Louis and Rick did a great job of getting things completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. In my experience, they did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and were very professional in the way they went about their work. I would certainly use them again.

These gentlemen went the extra mile and I appreciate their kindness and willingness to stick around and do what it takes to get the job done. Thank you!

I used Michigan Handy man for a small job — A ceiling Fan Install. Again they were courteous and Professional, on time and priced VERY competitively. They were lower than both Lowes and Home Depot. I will continue to use them!

Left a message around 2pm and received no call back. In fact, didn’t get a call back the next day either. Third day and still waiting… Needless to say, I’ll be calling someone else.

I needed shutters replaced after one blew off in a storm, and being less than handy I decided to call Michigans Handyman. They were timely, professional, did an excellent job and were a good value. I would definitely recommend this company to others and I will be using them again in the future! They also provided me with a few ideas/​estimates for the future in a very low pressure helpful way which was appreciated :-)

We used Michigan’s Handyman for snow removal this year and they did a great job. We have used other snow removal companies in the past and they were awful. Michigan’s Handyman came out on time every time and would send emails about their progress after some of the heavy snow storms this year.
We also just had them paint our living room and hallway. They did a great job and everything looks wonderful. They even did a great job on the trim. They told us the job would be done within 3 days and they finished in 1.5 days and cleaned up very nicely. We will definitely be working with them on future projects.

Really pleased by their professionalism and work. Jim came out to give me a quote on gutter cleaning and repairing my roof the day after I called. They were quick and quiet while working and even matched the color of my weird green shingles. Would definitely hire them again!

Needed a little drainage problem solved and some repairs to brick and balcony. Chuck came out and offered up some good solutions to the problem and having been impressed by him I decided to pay his above average rate and go with him.
In the quote he writes replace wood railing with similar and paint to match owners preference. Which was the same color as before. I come back to find the cheapest wood railing anyone can buy and it’s stained instead of painted (because that’s what he had). When told I wanted it painted to match the old one he said he would have to special order it and it would take a few days. Apperently he’s never heard of Home Depot. Then he could not match the old paint because he threw out the old railing. So he took a small paint sample from the trim. Then came back with wrong paint and said they could not match such a small sample. Hum how about going back and getting a bigger sample. Not for Chuck.
On the other thing he was working on. he said the work was done and I was shocked. The drainage was mounted about ¾ inch higher than the roof meaning that it would have to pool up ¾ inch before draning. then he never put down the rubber roof so that it would have fallen apart in a year tops. When confronted with this he got very defensive. He put down the rubber roof and said he buit it up so that it would not be ¾ inch.
I won’t be using them again.
