I just bought and promptly returned a box of the petite brownie bites at Safeway. These are the WORST «brownies» I have ever tried in my life. They should be more accurately labeled cocoa flavored bread. Ugh just completely awful.

It is all about those darn good Madeleines!
Delicious small sponge (Genoise batter) cakes, which are just the right amount of sweetness. These go great with afternoon tea or a latte. These ones from the bakery are a classic French Vanilla flavor.
If you have not tried a Madeleine ~ please try one at least once in your life time… in France if you can, since they make the best ones and usually have a nice flavor of orange or lemon. If you can’t get to France, they from this bakery, they are very good and you will enjoy them.
