Zero stars yo. Overpriced everything, debit card charges 79cents. 79 friggin’ cents! If you do decide to go here, make sure you pay attention to the amount shown on register total and GET A RECEIPT. They charged me +$ 3 once… WUT? Never ever coming back here.

steve’s has overpriced regular beers, unpriced micros, gallo type wines, barefoot wines et al. at average pricing. in short, no bargains here. staying dry(temporarily), going for the mega millions here(so i can eat upscale). rating: 2.5 stars –not a destination, just a convenience.

I am not a big drinker anymore but a few years back this was amongst one of my favorite liquor stores to stock up before a party. The owners are really friendly and they have decent prices on their bottles. What I liked the most was that they had a lot of mixers which is unusual for liquor stores. This guys had it all, blue curacao, bloody mary mix, all kinds of flavors for margaritas, i mean, everything! I have moved since and I don’t do much drinking anymore but just this past weekend we decided to stop by for a small bottle of grey goose and i was surprised to see different guys behind the counter. Not sure if they were new or if they sold the place but It was still nicely stocked and the isles were not cramped.

We stopped here in the middle of the day to buy a bottle for a party we were going to. The shop owner was great! He helped us find a great bottle for a decent price. It’s your average liquor store with above average customer service from the owner and his son.

the only reason i come here so much is for the 75 cent swishers, and lately, the mini-swishers. if you are a buyer of some top grade weed like myself, you’ll find that the mini swisher packs are a better deal. other than that, leave this place to the locals. if they(the store owners) dont know you, they’ll rob you worse than the crackheads and dealers outside. read anna’s comment if you need further validation

i was stuck in stop-and-go traffic going up 880, so i pulled over to consider an alternate route. this is kind of a rough area, at least judging from the types of people who hang out in the parking lot. D & D discounts is next door. i decided to buy a bottle of vodka and a 10 oz club soda mixer. the vodka was reasonably priced at $ 10. the water wasn’t marked, but my total was about $ 12.29, so it wasn’t very cheap. I handed the cashier/owner my card, and the receipt he handed me back to sign was more than $ 13. i protested, he said there’s a 75 cent charge on credit card purchases less than $ 25. i told him that was illegal, he told me «i can do whatever i want». i then said he should at least have a sign warning of the charge, he told me with a shrug that«people pull it down». uh huh.

Unless they create Unilocal in espanol, no one but me will probably review this place. I had to show some love. I wanted Racer 5IPA, and they had it. So basically go there and get that. Or a 6 pack of tecate like the kid in front of me. The guy thanked me for my patronage, so next time Casa de Anderessimo throws a football/lumpia fest, I’m stopping by here fo my drank. Cue up the Andre Nickatina when you peel out the parking lot, foo.
